The birth of Olivia
March 5th at 9 am I started having contractions every 10-15 min apart until noon. So I laid Dawsyn down and we took a nap, after waking the contractions stopped. we went to dinner then walked around Home Depot. Once we got home the children were put to bed and the contractions started again at about 9pm. They were about 10 minutes apart but much stronger. The contractions were all in my hips which was very different from the back labor I had with Dawsyn. This caused me to question myself that they may not be real. Soon enough I was in the shower crying because it was so much. Jason ended up calling the midwife at 10 or 1030pm. At about 1215 the midwife was still not there but my water had broke. While I was in the shower I used all of the hot water so we were unable to fill the pool. Immediately after my water broke I had the urge to push. In two pushes she was completely out. Jason caught her and we both kinda just sat there and stared at each other. We couldn’t believe that I barely had to push and she was here. 45 minutes later one midwife arrived and an hour and a half later the other arrived. We had a perfect 6 lb 15 oz 21 inch long princess 😍
