Kissy: “Electric Dreams”

Kissy is the solo-musical project of Austin-born, Los Angeles-based musician Sasha Ortiz, who has in the past sung with The Kills, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and Charles Bradley – a jaw-dropping list. “Electric Dreams” is her monumental new single, built inventively in glass and steel from a deep melodic foundation. Modern, inviting and breathtakingly sung, the track is officially released tomorrow, October 13th care of We Are: The Guard. You can stream the track both on Spotify and her Soundcloud page.

“Osaka" is a song about wanting to leave where you’re at for somewhere else. It’s about being tired of the mundane and wanting to start over somewhere new and seemingly exotic.
