Kitakama's own Maison Ikkoku!

If you know the manga, you'll recognise this apartment building.

Based from the manga series Maison ikkoku by Rumiko Takahashi. I have the manga books lying around somewhere lol. I have tested this lot and it does work but it requires a mod because none of the apartments have their own bathrooms and instead have to use the communal bathrooms.

It's this mod here with the pictures of a toilet and a bath. I can't remember what it's called but I will link it in a post once I remember!

Hello, The Sims lovers! Recently, you probably caught @morepopcorn update about the FAME PACK mod, which is going to bring back some cool features from the Sims Superstar EP (and not only!) 🤩

I can't express how excited I am to bring brand-new animations to these iconic objects and finally see them in action inside the game. I wanted to share a sneak peek of the WIP process with you! These clips come from the Recording Studio and showcase both the successful and failed versions of doing jingles and handling rejection.

Large modern mansion (been a few days!)

One of the largest builds I did for Kitakama. Unlike the Robinson's mansion, this one is located just past the old town, built on the edge of a lake.

The bedroom at the top floor has their own bar area. I imagine a party boy would live on that roof.

And my favourite area of the whole mansion is the beach house. Think of Bruce Walker's one from 13 Reasons Why.

Mods + steps you should take BEFORE downloading a custom hood! 🪐

Hello baby boys! Just wanted to share two very important videos for custom hood lovers! None of the following is mandatory though.

But when playing a custom hood like Aileen Landing or Planet Alades (guess I can also squeeze my Tinywood here) you should prob consider downloading some anti human Sims mod, as well as delete townies and Bin families even before they get generated in the hood!

The mods presented in this video were specially picked by me thinking how to help you, the player, get the full experience the hood creator wanted you to have.

But that's not all! The game will drop the Bin families (my beloved Ramaswami, Goodie, Picaso and more) in every single hood you load for the first time. These families might be cool, but they don't belong in Tinywood, for example.

In this video I teach you how to get rid of townies + Bin families, you should do that BEFORE loading the hood for the first time. It's pretty simple actually, but a crucial step to get the full custom experience.

For Binwood or even Viper Canyon this is a must: if you don't do that, the Bin families will be generated again - although they're already in the hood - duplicating them! This won't 'cause corruption or anything like that, just a bunch of unnecessary party killers clones.

I don't think this is right

If anyone has these skyscrapers in their hoods, tell me, are they meant to look this brown in daylight? I can't remember who made these and it doesn't say in game. I'm not sure if I'm missing some textures as all the others look like fine. Please help! (This is the downtown area of Kitakama).

I thought while it's clean and empty, I might as well upload the neighbourhood for others do with as they please. Of course I would add the CC folder and any other downloads needed. What do you think?

Nakamura Estate

One of the oldest mansions left in Kitakama, owned by the descendants of it's founders, the Nakamuras.

The gardens are splendid to walk through.

The house has been modernised to fit the current times while keeping it's traditional looks. This house took a while to build (obviously) but I'm overall happy with how it turned out. I just hope my game doesn't crash whenever I load it!
