Glamour Witch Secrets You Don’t Hear Every Day 🩷
Little-known glamour witch tricks to weave magic into your daily beauty rituals.
These spells are subtle, powerful, and hidden in plain sight — perfect for charging your aura with charm, confidence, and magnetism wherever you go.
• Charm your reflection: Before you leave the house, trace a sigil for confidence or beauty onto your mirror with rosewater or moon water. Let your reflection “absorb” the spell.
• Enchant your makeup brushes: Lightly brush them over a charged crystal (like rose quartz or selenite) before applying your makeup to infuse your look with a specific energy.
• Lip gloss spells: As you apply your lip gloss or lipstick, speak your intentions softly (“My words weave beauty and charm,” “I radiate irresistible energy”).
• Perfume potions: Mix a few drops of essential oil (like ylang ylang or jasmine) with your perfume to enchant your aura with attraction, joy, or mystery.
• Color magic in your outfits: Even tiny things, like your socks or hair clips, can carry color magic. Choose secret colors based on your spellwork that day (pink for love, blue for calm, gold for success).
• Earrings as talismans: Charge your earrings under the full moon or over incense smoke. Every time you wear them, imagine them guarding your energy and amplifying your glamour.
• Aura mist: Make a body spray with rose water, a little vanilla, and clear quartz chips. Mist it over yourself before going out to leave an invisible trail of enchantment.
• Mantra while doing hair: As you style your hair, repeat: “Every strand glows with charm and power.” Imagine each lock catching the light and magnifying your magnetism.

What is a road opener spell?
Something that really confused me as a beginner witch was 'road opener' spells. I heard people talk about these spells all the time but I had a hard time actually understanding what it meant until I did one myself. Because of that I decided to put together a little guide for all things 'road opener'. I hope this helps!
What does 'road opener' even mean?
Road opener is a type of spell to open the person up to new opportunities and to remove any blocks stopping them from obtaining those opportunities. These spells are great if you're feeling stuck. You don't have to have an opportunity in mind, you might just feel like everything is stagnant and you want things to start moving again.
What goes into a road opener spell?
Generally, these spells have 2 parts/aspects to them; removing barriers and negative energy and bringing in prosperity and new opportunities. You can do these together or seperate them into a 2 part spell, it all depend what you feel like. road opener is like a fancy name for a banishing spell mixed with a prosperity spell.
An example of a road opener spell:
Candle Spell:
A white, green or black candle (green for prosperity and growth, white as a replacement or to symbolise a fresh start or black to remove any negative energy or blocks) Black salt (to remove any negative energies or obstacles from your path) A bay leaf (for prosperity and wealth. write your intention on the leaf) A sigil with your intention cinnamon (represents wealth) cloves (protection and wealth) basil (protection and wealth) an anointing oil (note: optional) something to carve into the candle with (a sharp pencil, scissors, a paper clip, etc) a heat proof dish and candle holder Method: 1. Cleanse yourself, your work space and tools
2. Create your sigil. I like to use the intention 'All obstacles are removed from my path' or ' nothing stands in the way of my success' but it's completely up to you
3. Carve your sigil into your candle.
4. Write your intention on the bay leaf then place the candle on top of the leaf
5. Mix the remaining herbs together (except the black salt) and sprinkle them in a ring around your candle. If you wish to anoint your candle and roll it in herbs instead, this is the time to do so.
6. Place the black salt in a circle around the herbs and candle. This is to represent the banishment of any negative outside energies or to just get rid of anything that doesn't serve you anymore. You don't have to put it in a circle, it just works for me.
7. Watch the candle burn and focus your intention.
Notes: there are 1000s of ways to do this spell with all the ingredients I listed. If this spell doesn't feel right to you, don't do it or change it. It is only an example.

LUGHNASADH SWEET CORNBREAD
Unlike regular cornbread, this is a more southern-style cornbread that's a lot sweeter than cornbread. But really good!
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 large eggs
A splash of cream
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
Pinch of sea salt
For The Honey Butter:
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. In a separate bowl mix butter, sugar, and honey together. Then, whisk in your eggs, cream, and buttermilk.
Pour dry ingredients in increments to wet ingredients until just combined making sure not to overmix. Pour into a buttered and floured baking dish.
Bake for about 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick/knife comes out clean when stuck in the middle. This was just will my oven so cook times could be different when it comes to you. Make sure after 30 minutes, you check every 10 minutes.
To make your honey butter just combine your melted butter with honey and mix.
Serve in squares and top with honey butter and a tab of salted butter on top.
Enjoy! Have a blessed Lughnasadh!
Herbalism 101: Lemon
EP. 7
Fun fact
Lemons are technically berries!
Properties : clarity, friendship, happiness, protection
Uses in the kitchen
Lemon is used for its tart flavor. It can be found in many desserts, pastries, and cocktails. They can also be used to clean or make a simmer pot, leaving your home smelling fresh.
Uses in healing
Lemon has been found to have anti microbial properties and is a great source of vitamin C. Some say that drinking lemon juice can get rid of hiccups as well!
Uses in witchcraft
If you work with the moon, leaving lemons or parts of lemons on your altar to honor the moon is a great use. I often use the dried peels, dehydrated in the oven, in spell jars and charm bags. Another common use for lemon is in protective work. Things like a cleansing bath, a protective jar etc. are great uses for lemon.
Tips for growing at home
Lemons are not particularly difficult to grow, however if you live in a place with a harsh winter, chances are it will not thrive. Don't forget, lemon trees will take around two years to bear fruit, so be patient! Finally, you can grow these trees in a pot indoors, but they will need full sun.
Recipe
This is technically a repeat of an old recipe I have posted before, but I am changing out lavender for lemon because I make these all the time and they are a crowd pleaser.
Lemon shortbread cookies
4 cups flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1lb salted butter
2 drops lemon extract
Lemon zest for the looks
Combine the ingredients with the butter still a bit chilled. You can make little balls or roll it out to cut out shapes, you may need a little extra flour for this. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
Herbalism 101: Basil
EP. 6
Fun fact
The word Basil comes from the Greek word “basileus” which means king. Because of this, many believe it led to the creation of the word “basilisk” due to the creature's strength.
Properties : Love, money
Uses in the kitchen
Basil is a pretty common kitchen ingredient and can be delicious in many different cuisines. It can be found cuisines anywhere from Italian to South Asian. It is often used in sauces and broths, but also makes a good garnish.
Uses in healing
Basil is amazing for stomach issues and can also be used as a mood booster. Basil has been used for digestive issues for centuries, including as a way to help stomach cramps in Chinese medicine. It is also said to help improve one's mood.
Uses in witchcraft
I often have fresh Basil on my windowsill because of how versatile it is. My favorite use, however, is to use Basil essential oil in cleaning in order to set intentions of love and money in my home or to banish bad energy. I will often put the essential oil into a spray bottle with some water and other oils, then I spray a small amount on what I am cleaning and wipe it in the direction correlating to my desire. (Towards me to attract, away from me to dispel)
Tips for growing at home
Basil is not too tricky to grow, but it can be sensitive to temperature. It's best to keep the plant somewhere on the warmer side, with plenty of sunlight and moist soil. The other big tip is to prune/trim the flowering parts or dead leaves often.
Recipe
Pesto for love and joy
1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 cups Parmesan cheese
1-2 tablespoons of pine nuts
3 cloves of garlic
Around 1/2 cup of olive oil
Salt to taste
Combine ingredients in a mixer while slowly adding in olive oil until you get a consistency you enjoy. The basil is good for love, garlic can amplify intentions, and pine nuts can represent comfort and sometimes fertility.
what traditions does your herbalism knowledge come from? is it kind of a mish mash of everything?
It is a bit of a mish mash, but much of it comes from the research I did for my college independent study. There are a ton of great resources out there and my posts are, of course, just the tip of the iceberg!
Herbalism 101: Dill
EP. 5
Fun fact! "Dill" comes from an old English word that means "to lull" because it was often used to soothe colicky babies.
Associations: Money, luck
Uses in the kitchen
Most commonly used in Eastern European, Russian, and Middle Eastern cuisines, dill is used in a wide array of food. You most likely think of pickles, which uses the top part of the plant. The leaves or "aerial" part of the plant is used most of the time in cooking. It goes great in acidic and savory foods, as well as with food like salmon and eggs.
Uses in healing
I tend to used the seeds more frequently when it comes to herbalism. I will often chew on a seed or two to help with bad breath. Some people also use the seeds in a tea to help with period cramps.
Uses in witchcraft
Carrying seeds in a small pouch or your pocket will attract luck and money. Similarly, using the herb in cooking with intention will attract the same. Because you can buy it dried for the kitchen, I love using it in spell jars.
Tips for growing at home
Dill is resilient and can grow in most climates in summer. An outdoor pot or garden is best though, because it can get tall. It is a great companion plant for cabbage but not carrots!
Recipe
One of my favorite family recipes is super simple and tasty. Dill dip is something we always have at family functions.
You need:
2 part sour cream
1.5 part cream cheese
1/4 part dried dill
1/4 part garlic powder
Mix and enjoy with Hawaiian rolls !
Herbalism 101: Garlic
EP. 4
Fun fact! During World War I, garlic poultices were used to treat wound infections because of its strong antiseptic and antibiotic properties.
Properties: Protection and cleansing
Uses in the kitchen
Garlic is far from a rare ingredient in most peoples' kitchen. Using extra garlic in your recipes can provide protection or banishment. Making fire cider for fall/winter is one of my favorite ways to use garlic for both emotional and physical protection.
Uses in healing
Garlic has been used in herbalism for centuries, but it is still used by herbalists today to improve hypertension and to help with high cholesterol. Using garlic for its anti-septic properties is another common way to incorporate it into your herbalism practice.
Uses in witchcraft
Putting a braid of garlic above your door can be a good way to banish jealous people. You can also use crushed garlic to pull out negativity by putting it under someone's chair or your bed for 24 hours and then burn it. It is also associated with the goddess Hecate and can be used as an offering.
Tips for growing at home
1. Split the head of garlic and plant the larger cloves with the pointy side up.
2. Depending on your climate, different types of garlic may be better.
3. Keep it moist!! Garlic has a pretty long growing period and it needs to stay watered.
Recipe
One of my favorite uses for garlic is garlic syrup. It is great for helping respiratory problems.
You need water and freshly peeled garlic cloves (I usually slice them once down the middle to open them up). Simply boil the water and pour over the garlic. Let it stand for 12-24 hours. I usually add sugar to make it sweeter, but you can add things like mullein or crushed red pepper to change its taste.
Hello! I used to be a witch when I was younger but now I dabble with a mix of religions and want to get back into witchcraft as a means of finding myself so to speak. I understand there are types of witches or perhaps types of witch 'aesthetics'. Like, I'm fond of the sun, not the moon, I'm fond of the weather, not the sea. Is a storm witch the same as a sea witch? Can a celestial witch dabble with just the sun or must I work with all the stars and planets? I like the types of aesthetics as well, but I don't know if there are... subtypes? Is there a list of all of them and what others they're related to? I wish a chart were handy xD
Hi! I understand that feeling all too well. When I first started practicing all those years ago, I only ever saw people talk about the "cliché" paths. Lunar witch, green witch, sea witch, etc. to name a few. You are absolutely correct… There are subtypes! However, the most important thing to be aware of is that the only time the label matters is if you want it to. My account focuses on Kitchen witchcraft, but that is by no means the entirety of my practice. I chose one specific path to focus on for this account, but when it comes to my practice as a whole, I probably wouldn't label it as just one "type". If you are looking to find a more specific label, researching around and taking in all of the many types of witches exist may help you figure it out.
