i’m a psychiatrist. my work concerns a particular type of delusion of grandeur. it’s a growing field. i specialise in those individuals who believe they are superheroes / as studied by lara.

40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?
* ━━ character solidifying, anonymous
mary poppins does have a sense of humour, of course. i think it borders between a sense of irony and a touch of surrealism. it’s also very self-humouring, as in she’ll say something that doesn’t seem humorous but you can tell from the very slightest of smirks of the look in her eye that it’s actually quite funny to her. her humour is also somewhat contradictory, which is very much in line with the rest of her. as in she both takes things very seriously and she doesn’t take things seriously at all.
