#LUCY #band lucy #루시 #shin gwangil #신광일 #kitkatart #managed to get this done this year whew!!#i always want to draw them and i like making something to have for their birthdays #but... summer is always so busy...#if anything i'm even more busy this summer than usual #but we're still making it happen!#i need to draw them all more though haha i'm still not very good at it #soooooooooo so so so glad gwangil is back!!!#lucy finally at full power again!!!!!#as it should be!!!#ugh the concert looked soooo good #although every time i see a video with the drumportation i still laugh haha #also how lucky and fun that i get to share a birthday week with gwangil :)#ahhh i hope one day they come back! or i can somehow make my way to them!!#but until then!#i hope you’re all doing well :)

#band lucy #lucy #루시 #choi sangyeop #shin yechan #cho wonsang #jo wonsang #shin gwangil #kitkatart #happy six years dear lucys!!!!#i can't believe we actually returned to the prologue train concept for this comeback!!!#i've literally had the initial sketch for this sitting around since last year haha #who knew it would feel so timely!#i do wish i had had enough time to be a bit more careful with the details though... but oh well! too late now!#also i don't know why i thought the train would be easy to draw... it was not hahaha #but truly i feel so lucky to have found them and to get to step into the world they paint with their music #i love them and their music so much #and beyond just that--even if it's cheesy to say-- i feel like they've had such a positive impact on my life #there are of course still times when it's hard but i've received a lot of joy and comfort because of them #i'm trying and creating and (hopefully) growing because of them #ah why does it get so long and sappy whenever i talk about them haha?#i feel like i have so much to say and yet no words at all #i really hope one day i'll get to see them again!!#but until then being their fan and getting to listen to their music is more than enough :)

#LUCY #band lucy #루시 #Choi Sangyeop #최상엽 #yay happy sangyeop day!!!!!!#this isn't the most amazing thing ever but. at least it's something!#i had a lot of ideas and then it feels like i blinked and suddenly it was his bday!#in my defense #i've had a less than smooth move and have been preparing for a couple important work things on top of life just being life #and this is the first time i've picked up/had access to my tablet in months #but! i'm really glad i could do something for this!!#although trying to put into words all the things sangyeop makes me feel is harder than i thought haha #it's like i can't find the words and yet there are also suddenly too many at the same time #there are so many things to love and appreciate about sangyeop #his goofiness and wit #his small reminders and encouragements that always make me smile #his voice of course (i'm forever grateful that we get to have him as lucy's vocalist)#his jokes that never fail to make me laugh #how much he loves food and how well he eats (despite not having the most discerning palette haha)#his anti-consumerism and mindset of using things until they can't be used anymore #his kind and caring nature. his big shiny eyes #his songs that are simple but so earnest and touching #and so many more!#i can't help but think about how yechan once said that yeop is someone who's 'bigger than anyone' and feel that it's so true #i swear i usually have better words than this haha maybe if i'd waited until after i had coffee this would be better lol #but i think sangyeop is the one who makes me think most of all “let's run together for a long time”#anyway. i hope everyone is well! happy early spring!#in the spirit of sangyeop: if you read this far go drink a glass of water :)#kitkatart

#LUCY #band LUCY #루시 #Jo Wonsang #Cho Wonsang #조원상 #kitkatart #happy wonsang day!!!!!!!!!!!!#not me panicking a while ago about not having anything for wonsang’s birthday #and then drawing this in two days and having to wait a whole month to post it LOL #wonsang and lucy make me feel so many things #i feel like there aren't enough words (and certainly not enough tags here haha) for it. like even i didn't know i could feel this way #all i can say is i’m so happy to have found them and so grateful that it was in time to see them live #their music and their words and their silly videos really do brighten my ordinary days #and even though nothing that extraordinary happened (by most people's standards)#the joy and memories from seeing them really have carried me well through the past year (the little moments of/with wonsang especially)#and even though there’s only a small corner of walwals who ever see or like what i create #i want to keep making everything #it’s like i cant help myself when it comes to them #anyway. where was i going with this haha?#me? rambling and being sappy about lucy in the tags? it's more likely than you think lol! anyway #the world continues to roll on wildly but i hope you’re all doing well :)#oh song linked is their villain / nakhwa on the record video #a year later and i’m still not over how much i love villain and this particular version of it haha #and the outfits here are ofc from their encore concerts :D #drawing instruments is still so haaaaard though ah! i'll be better at it someday! maybe!#also i am once again putting it out there that i'm always looking for more walwals to be friends with!!!

#LUCY #band lucy #band lucy fanart #루시 #WAJANGCHANG #와장창 #kitkatart #i have to be honest i've never done anything like this before and i'm kind of nervous to post it since i don't know what people will think #i'm still not entirely sure what possessed me to do this! i was actually going to draw something else for lucy week #but then i was thinking about how bleu gives such a strong feeling/image and suddenly this idea popped into my head and wouldn't leave #i really wasn't sure if i'd be able to pull these off lol #but! i certainly had fun trying and they did turn out better than expected!#sorry if any of the editing is bad #i did it on my phone in capcut and it was Very late at that point #one might even say early haha #also i know the handwriting for the tracks is bad (especially the hangul...)#but by the time i realized i should've probably written them differently i was Committed #anyway happy lucy comeback!!#i hope the lucys are doing well… ♡#i love this album so much and as i keep listening to it i keep finding more and different things to love about each track #also the song progression in this album is so perfect #except when you listen to bleu and it makes you emotional and then the album loops and you're hit with wakey wakey at full blast 😂#i really didn't create anything for like 2-3 years and now after finding lucy i'm trying all kinds of things i've never done before...#truly i am forever like: what did lucy do to me !!! #LUCY #Band LUCY #Band LUCY fanart #Cho Wonsang #Jo Wonsang #kitkatart #listen... i had plans to draw other things this weekend #i really did!#but nothing was working until i started drawing silly wonsangs and then that was the only thing that would cooperate #he is so cute i love him terribly #he really is so sweetheart like #how are his eyes so pretty and warm and full of stars??#the amount of times i had to stop for a moment while drawing this bc he's so handsome and cute...#i didn't capture it well but the juxtaposition between his adorable poses and the protruding veins on his hands and arms is so funny to me #also i didn't even realize all of these pictures had a similar palette until i started coloring them haha #lucy truly makes me want to create soooo many things!!#we'll see how many of those things i have the time energy and ability to actually do though lol #it's silly but every time i finish a drawing that i'm somewhat satisfied with i'm like #neat! glad i haven't lost the ability to do that yet!#also “drawing is fun” i say while gritting my teeth and focusing on every little detail #i wish i was one of those artists who had the ability to make cute sketches and upload those bc they're so nic #anyway i hope everyone is taking care!#i had to draw something silly and cute to cope with... current events. everything. you know how it goes lol
