Pretty sure most people who will see this won't know me enough for this to be a big thing, but i'll probably be changing a lot of things.

Especially when it comes to fanfiction and my art, i've realized that a lot of my life i've made things (specifically things to post) for other people, not for myself. And I've also been looking at all these stories cooking up in my brain as huge projects that i need to get out quickly, which is probably why i lose most of my motivation quite quickly.

so, instead, i'll be taking things slow and making things at my own pace, because it's important to me. so unfortunately for--probably the one or two people that liked my stuff before--that means i'll be taking a LONG time. especially since i constantly phase in and out of fandoms ^^'. figured i'd put this here as something for the future at the very least.

Strange question, but you mentioned having a soft spot for Tranformers: Prime. How do you feel about Transformers: Rescue Bots? Or, have you seen it?

It’s in the same universe as TFP, and while it’s definitely aimed more for kids, lots of people of different ages enjoy it! I personally really enjoy it and would recommend, even if it’s just for the bots 😔. I like to think about how cute it’d be crossing over with Earthspark or something. Im curious what your thoughts on it are 👀

Okay so here’s the thing, being a stinky little middle schooler, I thought I was “too old” for rescue bots. When it came on I’d walk away and like shame on me for that. I’ve never watched a full episode. I probably missed out a lot because I was trying to act grown up. I see clips of it every once in a while and I really like blades! I’m of course a sucker for orange and white color pallets (see my oc Houston)

I had no idea it was in the same universe as prime! They are stylistically so different from each other that I never would have put that together on my own! Now I just watch whatever I want because letting other people judge what I like is for losers.

Favorite Transformers continuity?

Okay this is super hard bc I really like what I’ve read of mtmte, which is #1 through Empire of Stone, but I feel like I haven’t read enough of idw as a whole to say for sure that it’s favorite continuity. I’ve also read AND LOVED transformers: galaxies wannabee, it adds some background to cliffjumper that I love to play with! His general distrust and kinda grumpy attitude makes a lot of sense when you relate it back to how authority figures used and/or disregarded him consistently.

I also have a soft spot in my heart for Transformers:Prime. I watched it on the hub after mlp when I was growing up. Ratchet and Optimus calling each other “old friends” oughhhh. I like the design of wheeljack and ratchet in particular, they’re tasty. I also owe prime my enjoyment of starscream as a character. Watching it at that time, he seemed to have just the right ratio of intellect to petty. I haven’t rewatched it for a very long time, so I’m not sure how it holds up.

G1 is probably my favorite just because it is so easy to return to. Is it good? No, not really, but it’s strange and silly. It is rough around the edges in a way that allows for a lot of creative interpretation.

Earthspark season 1 is my second favorite, it has so much heart and love put into it. I loved how genuine it felt… but I couldn’t keep watching the second season after Robbie said “well it’s decepti-CONs” I was like ??? What… what happened to the heart, to the compassion? I might pick it up again, I really liked the mirage design, but I’m not ready yet.

I’ve also been told I would like tfa, but I haven’t seen it yet!
