A few days had passed since he arrived at that bizarre location. After being taken to his place, he sulked and spent his time thinking and sleeping without really feeling like leaving. But... After a while some needs, for fresh air and more food, make their points. He had to survive that place after all, so he finally took a nice and long shower and left. 

He gained the streets and focused on paying attention to the people, the city, how they talked and acted... Nothing felt natural for the misplaced demon, but at least he was trying to pretend. He missed his brothers dearly and he felt lonely. A long and deep sigh could be heard by those who were close enough, and by shoving his hands deep inside his pockets, he sat down on a bench a few blocks away from “home”. 

He scrolled down his cellphone and regretted he couldn’t contact any of his six brothers, the feeling of anger and loneliness growing inside his chest. After clicking his tongue and rolling his eyes he put the phone away again and raised his head to the sky. That longing inside his chest could only get worse and he closed his eyes trying to control that feeling for now.

He couldn’t recall his previous location. At first, he thought it was nothing but a dream. It’d be normal for him to find himself roaming through his own mind and enjoying his imagination... But as a regular dreamer, he knew it was real. It felt like waking up, his eyes gazed upon the abyss in front of him, and he backed away instinctively. His back was pressed against something, but he was so absorbed by the infinite darkness right in front of him that it wasn’t until he heard someone calling that his head was turned towards its source.  

“The city of Spirale welcomes you.” The driver smiles, then flickers, but just for a moment. “Let me take you to your accommodations.“

Oh, that was perfect. Belphegor frowned towards him, and would have fought that absurd “invitation” if the feeling of his powers being drained wasn’t as clear as it was. He felt tired and powerless, aside from his awful mood. After rolling his eyes, he entered the vehicle and glanced at the objects left over the back seat. He decided to ignore them until he arrived at their destination just to maintain some feeling of control... Although he knew he had none anymore.
