Someone getting arrested for murder and don’t want to get arrested for murder, so they don’t cooperate, if the cop doesn’t arrest them, it means you might die next or your friends, or family, or anyone. No, people have literally been areested with the only charge being “resisting arrest”. They were resisting arrested because there were no charges under which they were allowed to be arrested, so because they resisted they were arrested. People have lives to return to. People are the only caregivers for their children, people can’t afford to miss the hours at work, people can’t afford to pay bail or hire a lawyer in case they’re innocent. People are afraid of being arrested and having a charge stick to their name even when they’re cleared of it–happens frequently in murder trials for the accused–and poc are at real risk of being brutalized even if they are innocent.

Not wanting to answer questions or cooperate in that way may be seen as suspicious. Not wanting to be arrested is a basic human response.

Going back to your example, your statement that white people have a “10 in 12 chance of getting killed” is nonsense. 1 in 12 are killed, and we would expect to see 1 dead black person for every five white people, if it was truly fair. But in real life, the figure is one for every two, approximately, suggesting bias in selection.

But now there’s also a thing called crime plays in role an cooperation, black people have committed more crimes, are more likely to be in a gang, etc. That’s why it’s higher than it’s supposed to be.

People of color cannot “walk away” from racism.

The only thing non-POC can do is support them and listen to them and be an activist in the best of our capacity.

No blacks have ever supported me. Most white peoples are blaming themselves for being white because for you everything has to deal with race. Not everyone is racist, not everyone who doesn’t give you something is racist. You are making racism by saying that blacks are different from us and need to get special treatment.

People of color have been stepped on by white people for generations. Maybe you personally have not contributed to their suffering, but generations of ancestors did.

My blog is not about being rude to people, i believe if someone is being rude or hostile it means they already lost the discussion. I’m open to getting my opinion changed, and i’m open to multiple sides of the argument.

I understand that POC have been stepped on for a long time, but also I understand there are people who think it’s a free pass to do whatever now. There are good and bad POC the same way there are good and bad Whites. I think the problems with race are not gonna be solved until people realize you don’t have to be mean to one another. I also believe people strive for drama, as soon as one problem ends another will start.

Also about systematic racism, white people have been slaves of white people as well just longer ago. Whites have also been the slaves of blacks in egypt or around Africa. All races have been slaves at one point, doesn’t mean we extremely discriminate against them now.

Hey, why the no male policy?

because of female socialization, it is ingrained in my mind to subconsciously think that males are speaking the golden elixir truth and that females (like me) don’t know what we’re talking about. this is true for ANY male. the brainwashing that’s been done on me since birth makes it so even when i see an anti-feminist or pro-map argument i feel as though the male speaking it knows better than me in some way, and is being more “logical” and less “emotional.” i will literally see statistics on how 90-99% of violent crimes are done by males and STILL subconsciously feel like they’re false, like it’s actually half and half, because that’s what MALES say and males are supposedly always right. i feel like nothing is true unless a male starts agreeing with it, as if the goal of feminism is to make males agree. i have my own opinions, but on a subconscious level i am succumbing to male entitlement, the same male entitlement that makes men pillage the earth, rape their wives, torture animals for pleasure, and conquer civilizations.
