They are not being looked at here.

This is a part of the fight where they've managed to fall into a hidden nook in the rubble and it's a rare moment when Ishida is entirely non-confrontational.

He's kind of hanging in Ichigo's grip, not tense because Ichigo's grip is a safe place to be - he's not going to hurt him; the only reason he's been fighting him at all to this point is Ishida himself is pushing for it and at every opportunity, including this Ichigo is trying to defuse the situation.

Ishida's not hanging in that pointed "you can't hurt me way" to taunt Ichigo, his arms aren't raising, he's just taking a moment to let himself dangle from his friends grip and breathe before he has to keep going. He can't count on them being unseen, but the pose Ichigo's put them in is "safe" so that he can not fight for a second and someone coming upon it won't have cause to question him.

Even when Ichigo is his opponent, he's Ishida's safe harbor here.

Also kind of like how the shot has Ichigo bathed in light and Ishida in shadow.

Ichigo is trying to bring Ishida back to "the light" and Ishida is facing that, can see that, wants to go with him, but has to stay where he is for now.

Also, also: Look how Ichigo has Zangetsu! He's let go of the smaller blade, something aside from this moment I don't think he willingly does unless it's putting it on his hip, and the larger blade is jammed into the ground to the side. One hand is still on it, but more like a brace, he's only using one hand to lift Ishida. He's left himself entirely vulnerable here. His guard is down. This is a blatant and profound show of continuing trust in Ishida and I just KNOW this killed Ishida because he saw and understood that for sure.

I wish this was in the manga tbh. It's a good moment.
