Mari frowned as she saw more tweets talking about the V-live, many fans speculating that her and Seungmin might have a thing going on, the one clip of him holding her tightly as she cried was now trending and the internet was going wild, Mari could tell Hyunjin didn’t like it, but there wasn’t much Hyunjin could do about it. 

Seungmin had already posted a photo of him and Mari, the caption talking about how he loved his “twin” and that he would always try to keep her safe because they were family. 

The post didn’t really stop the rumours but it definitely helped everything cool down, Hyunjin had ignored Seungmin for a few days and had listed his interactions with Mari, leaving both Mari upset and Seungmin confused.

Of course Hyunjin had originally expressed his gratitude to Seungmin for helping Mari, but once the tag #Seungmar began trending, he quickly grew cold, only warming up once the rumours died down. 

Mari had noticed that with the tag, came a lot of hate, not just because she was rumoured to be with Seungmin but also because netizens thought it made her weak, many videos popping up in her recommendations where they ranked stray kids for had critiqued her.

In so many of the videos she had ranked poorly, many stays and non-stays claiming that she shouldn’t be lead dancer or even considered for lead or main vocalist, some videos had gone easy on her when it came to rapping, but they still claimed she was there weakest member both skill-wise and mentally. 

She threw her phone down on her bed angrily, wiping at her tears in frustration as she left her room, she grabbed her coat and left the dorm, slam ing the door as she rushed out of the building, the boys who had been at the dorms were confused and slightly worried, Felix and Jeongin following behind her quickly.

When they saw the turns she was taking they realised she was going to the studio, Jeongin assumed it was to release her frustrations, and he wasn’t necessarily wrong.

Mari rapidly knocked on Chan’s studio door, entering as he was getting up to open the door. 

“Hey, Mar. Are you o-”

“I want to leave the group.”

Chan felt his heart rate speed up, his eyes widening and his stomach dropping, he nervously stammered as she looked down at him, her face void of any possible emotion, he stood up quickly, moving Mari to sit in one of the chairs. 

“What happened, why do you want to leave all of a sudden?”

“All of a sudden? Chan have you not seen what’s been happening to me lately, I think you should be more surprised by the fact that I haven’t left yet. Do you know how hard I’ve been trying, after everything I’ve been through? And now this whole thing with Seungmin, and Hyunjin’s been ignoring me, and-” 

Mari stopped talking, letting Chan hug her as she began crying into his shoulder, her sobs were quiet and her whole frame had been shaking, her fingers weak as she hugged Chan back.

“And, Stays- Stays don’t think, they don’t think I’m good enough. No one thinks I’m good enough, Chan I’m not good enough to be here. I shouldn’t be here, I- I just drag the whole group down, and- and I’m the reason your efforts go so unnoticed. I don’t- I don’t deserve to be here, please, let me leave.”

Chan’s heart was dropping as Mari continued to sob, her words becoming jumbled, and her cries growing louder, she was breaking down in his arms and he was too distraught to calm her down. 

He held her tighter, his face now pressed against her hair as he cried with her, he didn’t want to lose her, their 2019 was already so hard, he didn’t want their 2020 to have the same pain. 

“Mari, please, think about this. Look at how far we’ve come, without you the group wouldn’t be the same, we wouldn’t be the same. You trained for 4 years, just for this opportunity, there was a reason I forced JYP to let you into the show. You are good enough, you’ve always been good enough, I know its hard right now. Believe me, I definitely know. But it’s only going to get better, I promise.” 

Mari shook her head, wiping her eyes which were now red and sore, her lips still quivering as she stared at Chan.

“Please, I can’t take it anymore. I can’t do this, I just want it all to stop, I want everyone to stop, I just want people to think I’m worth it, I want them to know we’re worth it.” 

“With or Without me.” 

The boys on the other side of the door had only heard the end of the conversation as they opened the door, the words burnt into their minds as they stood idly at the door, Mari and Chan snapping their gazes over to them, both of them standing up to face the boys.

“You want to leave?”

“Jeongin, I-”

“Are we not enough for you?”

“No, it’s not that-”

Jeongin left quickly, not wanting them to see his eyes watering or the way his lips began quivering as he held back his tears.

“Felix, please understand where I’m coming from.” 

Felix sighed, looking at Chan who, like Mari, had red eyes and a sturdy nose from crying. Chan’s eyes held worry and sadness, he obviously didn’t want Mari to leave, and neither did Felix.

“Look, I don’t know what happened, but I trust you, Mar. Please reconsider whatever you were thinking, we need you, just like you need us, and we’ll be here for you. Just, please talk to us.”

Mari turned to look back at Chan, who was basically pleading silently, a fresh wave of tears sliding down his face. 

She sighed, turning to look back at Felix. 

“Yeah, okay. I-I’ll talk to you all tonight.”

Chan perked up, looking at her with big eyes, almost like a child getting his hopes up. “You’re not going to leave?”

Fighting the way her heart was beating, she hesitantly nods, immediatley being pulled into a hug by Chan, Felix coming over to join them, both boys holding her tightly.

Maybe she did need to talk to the others. Maybe she didn’t want to leave.

“So, that’s what’s been happening, that’s how I feel.”

When Mari had finished talking Jeongin looked up at her from his hands, he felt the tears coming back and he wanted to say something to her, but he felt frozen. 

“M-Mari, I’m sorry.” He quietly said, his tears slipping out when everyone turned to look at him, he wanted to hide in his room, the guilt of how he acted from before was slowly making him feel worse. 

“Jeongin it’s okay, you didn’t know, I’m not mad.”

“Are you disappointed?”

Mari let out a laugh, which was more like her exhaling from her nose. “No, I’m not disappointed. A-and, I’m not leaving. But, I don’t think I’m ready to come back and I think it’s time I talked to someone about what’s happening with me.” 

Chan nodded at her words, standing up to place a comforting hand on her shoulder. “I’ll talk to him tonight about it.” 

Mari thanked him, before turning to the remaining boys, Jeongin had calmed down and was now hiding himself behind Hyunjin who was looking up at Mari in worry. 

Seungmin and Felix came up to Mari, hugging her tightly. “Mar, we’re always going to be here for you, whether you need us to listen or for us to help, we’re gonna be here.” 

Felix pulled away, walking off into their shared room, Seungmin giving her one last hug before following Felix. 

Changbin and Minho had been sitting silently the whole time, Minho not knowing what to say, and Changbin disappointed in himself. 

“I’m sorry.” Everyones attention had turned to Changbin, who had his head slightly tilted down. “I should’ve tried harder, to- to be there for you, but I didn’t,  I promised him I’d take care of you.” 

“No, Changbin, it’s okay. I promise, you’ve been really helpful and supportive, and I appreciate everything you’ve done.” 

“I didn’t do enough.” He stood up, walking out of the room with his head still down, Minho sighed, following after him, leaving Jeongin, Jisung and Hyunjin with Mari. 

Jisung grabbed Jeongin’s hand, pulling the boy with him, walking up to Mari to apologise about everything he had done, before leaving the room. 

Hyunjin sat quietly, his eyes trained on the floor as he went over his thoughts.

“Have I not tried hard enough?”

“What?” “Have I not tried enough to make you happy, are you unhappy with this relationship?” “W-what, Hyunjin, this relationship keeps me going, you’re one of the only reasons I can keep going, I love you and being in this relationship. That’s not going to change, no matter how bad things get.”

She walked closer to him, letting him pull her down, she was now on his lap, his arm wrapped tightly around her frame as he hugged her. 

“I’ll try harder. I don’t want you to feel like this anymore. You don’t deserve it.” 

Mari pulls back slightly, looking at him with a soft smile. “Everything happens for a reason, Jinnie.”

↳ After another incident on vlive, Mari realised she can’t be alone, so she calls for Hyunjin’s help. Having a moment with the whole of the 00’ line instead.

“Hello Stay! It’s been a really long time since we’ve talked, I will be back soon, so don’t worry.”

Mari paused for a moment, reading some of the comments as she sat alone in one of the studios, her back facing the large mirrors that lined the walls.

“I’ve been getting better, the boys are definitely taking care of me.”

She had her phone in her lap as she used another device to vlive, it was late at night and she was alone, she felt the immediate regret as her eyes flickered up to look at the screen, looking at her reflection anxiously.

Realising she was making her worries obvious, Mari looked back at the camera plastering a quick smile as she went back to reading the comments.

“Are you okay? You look worried, ah I’m fine, it’s just behind me’s a little dark.” She brushed off the other comments and went to connect her phone to the speaker in the studio.

“I was thinking of doing a few songs, so leave some suggestions!” She translated her sentence into english, wanting the international fans to feel included.

Once she had connected to the speaker she began playing ‘Obsession’ by EXO, skipping to the last chorus to do the last part of the song.

Dancing along to the music Mari smirked towards the screen, making majority of the viewers freak out, many of them fangirling.

“That was Obsession by EXO, it’s one of my favourite songs right now, along with Levanter by this one group called Stray Kids, I think?”

Snorting at her own comment, Mari went back to the device and sat in front of it, looking at the song suggestions and general observations from Stays.

It had been a minute or two of silence when worried comments started rolling in, making Mari’s breath hitch silently as she saw a few more comments.

“Uh, I- I don’t think anyone’s behind me?” She looked into the screen again, not noticing anything, she turned around to face the rest of the studio, not seeing anything behind or in front of her.

I think I saw something move in the background!

omg Mari, I think there’s someone behind you.

Oh my gosh, I see them.

Mari felt her pulse quicken, her heart rate increasing as her eyes darted around the room, she stood up abruptly when she thought she had seen someone in the corner of the room, her eyes began watering as she brough her hands up to her chest, clutching onto the fabric of her large sweater.

Picking up her phone she turned the flash on, her stomach dropping when she saw that it was just someone’s coat.

In the state of panic that Mari was in, she completely forgot about the vlive, reaching for her phone she dialed Hyunjin’s number, biting her nails as her eyes watered.

The camera couldn’t see her face, only her back and her posture, her body was tense but the way she was standing made her seem smaller than what she actually was.

“Hyunjin, are you still at the studio?”

Hyunjin has stopped walking when he heard Mari’s voice, hearing the fear in it as her voice broke.

“No, I’m back at the dorms, what happened? did someone do something? hold on, I’m on my way, uh- I think Seungmin and Felix are still there, I’ll tell them to go to you.”

Mari hummed, wiping her tears as she slightly paced.

“Okay, thank you, I love you.”

“I love you too, I’ll be there soon.”

When the call had ended Mari realised the vlive was still on, her heart began pounding again when she realised the fans had heard her tell Hyunjin she loved him.

“Uh, I-I’m okay guys, It’s fine-” Mari yelped as the door swung open, her phone falling out of her hands as she clutched at her chest again.

Seungmin and Felix rushed into the room, Felix turning the lights on as he entered. The two walked up to Mari, pulling her in for a hug, Seungmin holding Mari against his chest as Felix smoothed her hair down, rubbing her neck and holding her hand as she began crying.

“The v-vlive, is still- it’s still on.” Felix turned to where the device was set up, kneeling down in front of it he saw the comments blowing up as everyone saw what happened from the reflection of the mirror.

“Hi Stay! Everything’s okay, Mari’s just been really tired and it’s made her really emotional lately.” Scrolling up, he tried finding a comment that may have triggered one of Mari’s panic attacks, scrolling up for a while he finally found a chain fo comments talking about how she wasn’t alone in the room.

Felix furrowed his brows, licking his lips in annoyance as he sat back.

“It’s not funny scaring people, I mean, sometimes it is, but not when it really scares them. You need to remember that it may be a joke to you, but not everyone’s going to laugh, and someone’s going to end up getting hurt, so please be mindful of what you guys joke about.”

Seungmin has his face pressed against Mari’s neck as she buried herself in his chest, her cries turning to whimpers as her shoulders shook, her hands wrapped around Seungmin’s hand.

He rubbed at her back, holding her tightly as he whispered to her, moving his hand up to rub the nape of her neck.

“It’s okay, Mar. It’s okay. I’m so proud of you, you’ve pulled yourself through so much, just breathe, you’re doing well. You’re going to be okay.”

Seungmin kept whispering to Mari reassuringly, he moved to sit Mari down away from the mirrors, still holding her hands as he did.

When he realised she wasn’t calming down as much as she should’ve, he began panicking, he turned to Felix, wanting help.

Felix had ended the live at this point and had been updating Chan, who was stressing about Mari’s well-being, on what was happening.

As Felix walked over to Mari and Seungmin, the door had opened again, Jisung and Hyunjin walking in, the two slightly out of breath as they rushed through the doors.

Hyunjin instantly went to Mari’s side, placing a hand on her mid back and her thigh, rubbing soft circles as he walked her through the breathing exercises, talking to her quietly, calming her down quickly.

Jisung sat on her other side, his head on her shoulder as she leaned back against the wall, he poked at her side, tickling her, making her look down at him.

He squished his cheeks together, making Mari giggle softly as he dramatically sighed and flopped down onto her lap.

“I’m so tired, sometimes I ask myself, ‘Jisung, how do you feel knowing that your face holds so much power?’ and then I realise, how could a face this handsome, not hold pow-” His rant has been abruptly cut off by the other 4 bursting out into laughter, Felix and Mari wiping at fake tears while Seungmin and Hyunjin threw their heads back, Hyunjin clapping along.

“wHAT, I AM HANDSOME. DO YOU WANT TO FIGHT?”

His outburst had caused the 4 to laugh harder, at this point his head was no longer in Mari’s lap, Hyunjin was leaning against Mari for support as he held his stomach, Felix on the floor as Seungmin began clapping.

Jisung glared at them, arms crossed as he pouted, rolling his eyes at his friends he huffed and got up.

“It wasn’t even that funny.” He mumbled as he walked off.

“No, wait, Sungie come back, we were just kidding! You’re very handsome.” Mari could barely get through her sentence without letting a few giggles slip.

“Whatever, I’m going to someone who’ll appreciate me.”

The group laughed at Seungmin’s comment towards Jisung, the latter grinning mischievously as he watched Jisung exit the room dramatically.

“I love you guys.”

The three boys stared at Mari, Felix cooing as he sat beside Mari, pulling her in for a hug and ruffling her hair. Seungmin pushing Hyunjin out of the way to hug Mari’s other side.

“Disrespectful.”

“Shut up, lover boy. You always get her love, we’ve been deprived.”

“Y/n? What are you doing up? Why are you here?”

Your eyes glance up in the mirror at Changbin as he approaches you from behind, taking a seat on the two-seater bench beside you in a quiet, out-of-the-way stage room. 

Your sighs fog up the glass and blur out your reflection staring back at you. “Just had a bad day. It’s fine though, I’ll be okay.”

“……” He stares at you in earnest from beneath the dark-toned visor of his cap, before looking down at his hands, fidgeting with one of the few rings Jisung had probably gifted him from his wardrobe. “…Do you want my advice? Or do you just need someone to listen?”

“Binnie, I told you, I’m–”

Your eyes met with his. He was staring at you hard.

“……” You swallow dryly. “…I guess…it’d be nice if you could hear me out.”

His smile was daisies and sunshine. “Then what are you waiting for? Tell me about it.”

You nod your head, mirroring his smile as you go on about the things that had happened, the things that had been bothering you, everything, letting it all pour out like a great flood while being careful not to lay on too much at once, allowing him time to nod and process the information.

“Would you like my advice?”

You nod again. “Sure.”

He smiles again, placing a hand on your back. “I think,” he says, “that you’re a very kind person. And smart, and pretty, and very talented.”

“…” You begin to laugh. “Those are just compliments–”

“I’m not done yet,” He playfully shoves you aside, pulling you back up before you can fall over. “I also think…you should just keep doing what you’re doing. Remember that better days are coming, and you can always come to me, come to us, about anything.”

You nod for the third time. “I know…”

“And you know what else?”

“What’s that?”

He leans forward, looking you right in the eye with another bright smile. “Wherever you go, and whatever you do, you’re going to be just fine. Even if things aren’t okay right now, eventually, at some time, they will be. You never have to worry about anything, because life always has a way of turning things around. Even if times are hard now, so long as you stay positive and take your time, they’ll work themselves out.”

You’re not entirely sure why, but you find yourself wiping a tear from your eye, getting a bit frustrated at the cliche reality of it all. “Thanks, Binnie…” you take a deep breath, and he takes one with you. You both smile. “I needed to hear that. I’m really grateful to you.”

He lightly punches your shoulder, ruffling your hair afterward. “Anytime, babygirl. Anytime.” <3

My country is on fire.

I wanna take a second to talk about this, I know I've mentioned bits here and there, but I feel the need to talk about it more.

These are probably the worst bushfires I've seen in my whole life of living in Australia, of living near the bush.

The closest fire to where I live is 2 hours away. This is my town covered in smoke from that fire. It's all I've been able to smell all day. Even New Zealand can see and smell the smoke from these fires.

And thats not even the worst of it.

So many people have lost their homes and so much more.

Roads have been closed off, towns been told to evacuate, but for some its too late.

There's no way to leave the town, the only place left to go is the beach, the water.

Watching the news each night, it feels like the apocalypse. Smoke, fires, an orange sky and burnt land.

Towns that have been closed off are no longer receiving resources. My sisters towns small supermarket has run out of water, milk, bread, and face masks.

Millions of wildlife has suffered and died. At least 10 people have lost their lives. These fires have been burning for weeks, yet our PM still does nothing. Instead he goes overseas. He doesn't see how serious this situation is to so many people. The fires are being fought by so many volunteers because towns are not receiving enough government funding.

I won't share too many more photos of the fires, as you can find them anywhere. But please, we need help. We are relying on good people and donations because our "leader" isn't doing much to help.

Update 7/4/17

Hey everyone! I hope some of you are still around. Here is an update on what is open as of now.

For right now the only groups I am doing are BTS and Monsta X. I will expand when I am ready but I am sticking with them since I know them super well can I can do the requests pretty quickly.

I can take Snapchat requests, Text requests, and short gif requests. NO SELCA SHIPS RIGHT NOW!!!!

I will be opening selca ships again soonish and possibly written ships. I have to start out slowly so please be patient with me as I am the only one working on this page right now.
