An AU where Dinoco isn't yet handed over to Tex, where they decide to drop Strip in favour of Dale Earnhardt Sr. Sidewall Shine withut a racer turn to Bertie Fast, Leaving Strip an oportunity with Rust-eze. Upon being dropped by Dinoco so suddenly, Strip is left feeling betrayed and turns cold. Some racers keep there distance from him on the track, scared to end up on his hit list.

this is so silly. but it makes me laugh. i saw the shirts and just knew that this would be them. Strips shirt was ordered a few zizes too big and Darrell's a size too small for his comfort. (the shirt writing for those who can't read it) "If found drink, please return to Darrell" "Hi, i'm Darrell, but i'm drunk too. Find Strip" "Hi, i'm Strip, but i'm probably more drunk then them. plese send Mario" "I'm Mario"
finally finished the Drag queen drawings i started a while back. I'm not as happy with the drawings but i like tha shading. i was too laxy to fix the art and re-colour. flat colour version too :).
sadly the other two had no background for their flats.
got tired of my discord pfp so decided to draw a new one. Decided on a younger version of the group of sillies. put Strip in his fathers jacket for once. Darrell finally gets to be in one of his firesuits. starting with his first sponser. This photo would been taken either after or before Darrell's first race.

so in my headcanon Darrell made money by being a drag queen and adult entertainer. eventually he gets picked up off the street by Strip and they become roommates. Darrell teaches Strip a few moves and one day puts Strip in Drag. Years later teh two realise they have the power to put Mario in drag. it didn't take much convincing...just one condition....he gets to pick the bust size. So here is the line art of the 3 of them in drag. Darrell and Mario looks so weird without facial hair. and ignore the fact that they have no pupils or iris's. those'll come during the colouring phase.

Drew these four dorks hanging out together chating and laughing. Mario's tattoo says "Con te, ogni momento è prezioso" for those wondering. And though you can't really see it, Strip does have arm and leg hair. it's just blonde and hard to see.
Random shower thought turned headcannon
One time while travelling as a group Chick asked Mario if he spoke Italian when looking at a sign.
Mario Proceeded to retaliate by speaking in ONLY Italian for the rest of the day, leaving Chick and Darrell lost and looking to Strip for translations.
Strip was only learning the language through Mario at the time and had patchy translations.
By the end of the day Chick knew to never ask such a stupid question again. One, because he'll have to deal with the consequences and Two....because the death glare he kept getting from Mario was stating to make him concerned for his safety.
Being yelled at by an angry Italian once was enough for him.
Strip at least got praise the next morning for doing a fairly decent job, despite the minor mistakes here and there.
Darrell just questioned his life choices.
And Mario will never admit that he almost broke the angry Italian façade a few times to laugh at either whatever Strip's translation was or the way the other two immediately looked to Strip for answers like lost children.
The idea of; Chick: hey, Mario? you speak Italian, right? Strip, Darrell and Mario: *turn their heads slowly towards Chick with a shared look of disbelief* Strip: Dude... Mario: *takes a deep breath and starts telling Chick off in Italian* 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌 Chick: Uuuuh *looks to Strip* Strip: *sighs* from what i gathered, "yes i speak Italian, I was born and raised there...silly. what kind of stupid question is that you Moron?" though he used more...colourful words. makes me laugh.
spent today drawing this. got a touch lazy with the shading. To me, Strip is a cat person. these are his two cats, his old lady Priscilla, who is deaf and his baby boy Pumpkin, who is a classic ginger. Not a single thought between those ears...only chaos.
completely forgot to post this, lmao. i might do a lineartless version if i feel like redoing some edges or the entire colouring again. we'll see. Context of the drawing is that in my headcannon, Darrell learnt to sew when he was young bc he helped his mother a lot. And so when he wanted to put Strip in drag he wanted to make the outfit from scratch. this was the outfit. Strip loves it to death.
Bob and Darrell were originally in front of a tree...but i got tired of drawing the same tree form different angles...so they get frosty window.. LOL. least i got all the christmas Drawings done before christmas.
Mario and his wife (currently named Maria). i didn't actually do any search on the IRL racer when it came to his family and when i did read some stuff i had become to attatched to what i already had. so here's an italian racer with his Spanish lady. (felt weird to finally draw Mario in something different for once. lol)
A Chick'n'Strip Christmas
being an atrist goves one too much power. i do have other cute couples ones. but it's been a while since i drew Chick and Strip as older men. been focusing on past adventures, bringing back the grey hairs and wrinkles for these ones.
Strip may want to avoid bending too far foward in a dress that short..
i also finished "and you wonder why?". i decided to keep it flat in colours as it's taken me so long to finish it anyway.
Strip is very acrobatic and flexible, but after having a few too many drinks...he's prone to getting himself into trouble or getting hurt. While Darrell has lived with this man and is just tried of his shit (he does join the stupidity and recklessness when also drunk), Mario is actually trying to stop Strip from being injured. Just because he's one to start a fight, doesn't mean he's not the one who is always the most sober andplays babysitter for the other two. He has ABSOLUETLY carried the other two home because they were WASTED, Darrell tucked under his arm and Strip thrown over his shoulder.
