False Face Fawn 2nd in my Glass Animal Mask series!

The initial design had glass antlers but they looked too bulky and didn't make sense for a fawn to have grown adult antlers so I replaced them with blue Lily of the Valley flowers. I'm particularly happy with how the white flowers on her back looks like the white fawn spots :D

I can't believe today is the last Witch Hat Monday for a while 😭

I don't want to see anyone become a brimmed hat but boy do I love designing brim hats for everyone. For Richeh I think she would look cool with her crystal ribbons forming the hat, and the scale wolf cloak would compliment it all.

Chuffed is a good page, but given that anyone can make a page and there have been a lot of problems with people using big topic issues to make donation pages that end up being solely to take the money for personal profit before running, along with my personal experience handling scammers on tumblr who are willing to build up narratives or stories that aim at emotional heartstrings? This might be a better way to ensure your funds are going explicitly to the kids.

I'm Debating

Hi guys. So, I'm debating something-

I'm currently working on my 7th version of Book 6, and honestly? It's killing me, because while I'm over here, I've only had one person read the whole series. I'm wanting more feedback, but I'm not willing to pay people to beta read considering how much of my husband's money I just burnt on a publishing deal that didn't go through.

So, I'm debating providing Book 2 on my website. However, the only way I'll be willing to do that is if I get people to vote here. If people want to read it, and if they actually show up and give the website a look over, I'm thinking I'll provide chapters on a week by week basis depending on reader engagement.

How many of you would read if I posted Book 2?

I am worried my story is too fucked up

Hi friends!

I want to start by prefacing that I am, to a degree, asking a favor of anyone who is heavily into dark literature and willing to review fucked up topics such as assault and torture. If that isn't for you, I'm really sorry, because my stories do have a few really messed up scenes that touch on this topic. It is always for a reason and pushes the plot along, but I did want to warn you guys.

Hi friends.

Semi-bad news today- I have canceled on my plan and stopped working with my publisher. As many of you know, I habe been focusing on my edits and improving the quality of work-

My beta readers who reread the edited sections had a lot to say. Primarily, that the edits ruined the story for them, fucked with the immersion for lack of better words and reduced the main character down to less than relatable.

I have reached out to a few well known literary agents, and I will update if I get in contact with them. We arent giving up and one way or another I WILL get this figured out.

Question:

My publisher keeps saying that he is using an artist to make a cover, but each time it feels like AI. How many of you would avoid reading a book if it looks like an AI cover? I jave been trying to get them to pay an artist and the artist spoke to me Friday saying theyd send me each source layer, but I am genuinely curious
