✨Hi! I'm KITTS-Mechanix! Certified Library Technician, 80s wannabe, English-Irish mutt, Irish Catholic, second-rate fanfic author, artist and overall nerd. I don't have a set theme for my blog, I just reblog whatever I like, but you will see lots of posts pertaining to Cars, 1982 Knight Rider and G1 Transformers. The last one I wrote was 2022 or so. I barely feel like I can get in the writing mode anymore

I've been having a really difficult time getting myself to write too, and it doesn't help that with the rise of AI generated stuff people are more likely to look at newer fanfics (and art) and think "oh it's probably AI I should avoid that". And like....nobody reads fanfic anymore? Well OK, they probably still do, but I remember a time when people took the time to leave comments and now they don't (not to sound entitled). And it just...kinda kills my drive to write?

I know this is ooooold news but people really be freaking out over Daniel becoming Arcee's Headmaster (of sorts) in The Rebirth and I'm just sitting here like....guys I'm pretty sure Daniel needing Arcee as life support is supposed to be a temporary thing. Yeah we never find out what happens after Season 4 and yeah I get they were trying to cram a bunch of stuff into a last minute finale that was already suffering from corporate meddling but you all need to drink some chamomile tea and calm down. If you wanna pretend Rebirth didn't happen that's fine, there's the Japanese continuation. But I don't think the whole thing in Rebirth was worth getting THAT twisted up over.
