With everything that happened today all I think are the words Miyazaki once said

The fucking GOAT said it best. Imma reblog this until I can't anymore.
I am, and I'm saying this with my whole chest, absolutely fucking disgusted with everyone who worked on this show.

Okay, buddy.
Rin was 8 years old in InuYasha.
At the end of the Final Act, three years have passed.
8 + 3 = 11.
11 years old.
Hisui is born at this time. He is born when Rin is 11.
Everything I'm reading says that Rin is 17 or 18 when the twins are born, an "acceptable" age. So, doing some Math! (I am a DUMB Anti after all, who knows! Numbers are *gasp* so hard!) If Rin is 17, it would make Hisui 6 at the time of the birth, and if she's 18 he would be 7 at the time of the birth.
So tell me.
DOES THIS CHILD LOOK FUCKING SEVEN?
Anyone who says that CLEARLY doesn't interact with children! A child this size is 3 years old MAX (Source, my niece is 3 years old and she doesn't require hand holding anymore, so he's actually probably at the high end of 2)
What was math again? 11 plus 3?
FOURTEEN.
RIN WAS FOURTEEN GODDAMN YEARS OLD WHEN SHE GAVE BIRTH, AND I SURE HOPE TO SHIT HER BIRTHDAY WAS SOON AFTER CAUSE OTHERWISE SHE GOT KNOCKED UP AT THIRTEEN.
And that's me being generous, if Hisui was at the high end of 2 then that puts Rin in the 12/13 category!
And that is. NOT. OKAY.
And somehow Sunrise was like “Yup this is genius!” Tch.
(I hope this helps)
Hello 💕
I understand you. I sympathize with everything you are feeling right now. This series has indeed been a traumatic ride for the majority of us. In the beginning, I used to stress a lot because I truly wanted to believe Kagura is the mother. And I still do believe, to my surprise, but I've chosen a while ago not to stress about it any more. Instead I question what I'm seeing. The symbolism for Kagura is everywhere. And IT IS RIKU who tells us the story after all, so I won't trust in what he says. Besides, don't you think is funny how he broke the 4th wall just like that? No other character in Inuyasha or Yashahime has ever done that before. So, everything about this episode is oddly arranged and portrayed.
Personally, I will continue to watch the series because I already grew fond of the girls. In the end, they don't even know their parents, so what fault do they have? In worst case scenario, Sesshomaru (AKA Sunrise) is to blame, but not his daughters. Not Rin. Those girls are innocent.
But anyway, Rin hasn't been confirmed as the mother. Only if Sunrise EXPLICITLY says in a future interview that she is in fact the mother, only then will I stop theorizing and questioning everything I see in Yashahime.
Also, we're only on Ep.15 after all. This season will end on Ep.24. And then we might have a second season next year, but they haven't confirmed it yet. IT IS still a bit early on the series to make assumptions. Once we're further into the mystery we might understand everything better. That's why I think Ep.15 is not 100% truthful. Because it gave away the mom's identity just like that...? It doesn't seem like something Sunrise would do. My theory is that they're trying to confuse us in purpose and they will continue to reveal the story little by little.
My suggestion for you now is that you take a deep breath and remind yourself that this series ISN'T WORTH your peacefulness and your happiness. Take a break from the series if you need to. But do not be discouraged if you were enjoying Yashahime. The series isn't over yet.

I know I said that I would not talk about HnY anymore, but here is the thing I noticed that makes this story even creepier regarding SessRin.
Episode 15 of HnY begins with Riku saying that this story began 18 years ago and we see a scene of him and Hosenki II talking about the black pearl, that it took 4 years to be done instead of the 100 years he believed it would take to create another black pearl.
4 years ago was the time Naraku was destroyed and 1 year went by since Kagome returned to the Feudal Era.
If we count this 4 years plus the 14 years of the twins, we'll have the match of the 18 years that Riku talks about. This validates the saying of Kaede that 15 years ago the bone eaters well stoped working, meaning that Kagome was the last one to use it.
This means that Rin wasn't 14/15 years old when she got pregnant. She was indeed 11/12 years old!!! That is why Hisui looks so young! He doesn't looks like his twins sisters from episode 1 that was 2/3 years at that time. He is actually 1/2 years old when the twins were born. DO YOU REALIZE HOW CREEPY IT IS!?
Then they had the nerve to make her appear taller or “longer” when she was on the futon, purposefully CHANGE her hair color but what they didn’t change was Rin’s small ass shoulders. That’s a whole child.
I sit with my grief. I mother it. I hold its small, hot hand. I don’t say, shhh. I don’t say, it's okay. I wait until it is done having feelings. Then we stand and we go wash the dishes.

A very bad pretty boy, but make him aesthetic.
LMAOOOO this made me laugh and scared at the same damn time, GIT DEMON!
I love the way that this ship has absolutely no appeal if you’re not some depraved old hag self inserting as an fictional child and hoping she lives out your longtime fantasy of fucking Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru and Rin didn’t have “chemistry”, they didn’t have interesting tension, they shared a heartwarming platonic bond between an adult and a child that represented compassion and change and.. that was it. The way shippers fabricate every other aspect in their head to make this relationship interesting (the hilarious noncanon Adult Rin) because they literally ship a dynamic that doesn’t even. fucking exist in canon.
It’s hilariously pathetic, I can’t wrap my mind around it. It’s like they’re covert Sesshomaru/Kagome shippers but don’t want to admit it XD
Lmao. Don't think I hate rin for this
But.... I had to. Haha had some influences....👀👀👀
I give you Pickled Rin!! 👏👏👏
Lmao I'm so sorry Rin 🤣🤣

Just in case >_>
Can we go ahead and wake Godzilla ass up just in case Sunrise pull some hanky panky shit? 👀🤡
Wait, so are people like actually, legit contacting like Funimation, Hulu, and etc. about Yashahime and the possibility of S*ssR*n? I'm just curious / want to know if this is legit.
I’m not doing anything until I see how this next episode plays out personally. However, if we get confirmation that Rin is the mother with the next episode, considering the context we’ve been given so far, the timeline, and how young she looks in the previews, I feel like all of that is MORE then enough grounds for action against the show and whatever streaming service is hosting it.
So yeah, my plan is emails to Hulu, Viz/Funimation, Disney, and I’ll also probably send emails to any brands I see advertisements for on the show too.
Please don’t get me wrong. This is not salty shipping discourse on my end. I don’t give a wet fart who the mom is. HELL, I would have even been fine if it was Rin if the show handled it in a way that allowed her character to grow and develop ON HER OWN away from Sesshomaru so she had a chance to become her own person first, (and you know, grow into an actual adult lol). But the way it’s going right now the relationship between them is so incredibly, painfully, and obviously fucked up, and I just truly don’t think it’s cool to be marketing this to kids. :P
This this this! Well explained!
There seems to be arrangements or ‘bargains’ going on with Sesshomaru / Kirinmaru and Zero. When do we ever see him at the mercy or taking orders from anyone else? Regardless of who they are or their power? So this leads me to two thoughts. Not sure if this is confirmed, but it’s strongly believed Zero’s butterflies are what’s helping sustain Rin. A possible arrangement made with Sesshomaru and Zero that would further endebt him to her / Kirin. For the time being.
But Zero doesn’t know about the twins? If she found out about them the night Sesshomaru placed the pearls in their eye, why would she burn the forest down 4 years later? Perhaps a previous bargain / arrangement took place? One that eventually would lead to the birth of the twins and they were kept a secret once word broke about the “half demon will kill Kirinmaru” prophecy. And they were hidden so quickly there was no time for anyone at the village to meet / know about them.
We saw in Kohaku’s book day that those butterflies come from that mystical mountain. Perhaps this is the territory of Kirinmaru and Zero. It’s looking like Kirin has a bit of a grudge against Toga for (ending a partnering lordship?) for the sake of marrying Izayoi and having Inuyasha. He’s probably not happy to see Sesshomaru either, but uses this as an opportunity to make a bargain with Sesshomaru. One that he is called to uphold his end on the night of the calamity.
I think that mountain is important. We see art dedicated to Sesshomaru on that mountain peak while other are depicted with their husbands / wives. What if an arrangement was to allow Him access there? Somewhere mystical and unexplained things happen? Like souls of loved ones manifesting into physical human form? What if the twins were born a year after that? Why was he smiling on that mountain with him arm extended upward ‘alone?’ Who was Sesshomaru going to see?
Just going to leave this here!!
Bruh. BRUH. O_O This actually lines up with the ending of TFA when Sesshomaru could seen in the damn underworld as if he is “searching” for someone or their soul. And the new Yashahime opening starts with THAT specific scene does it not? They didn’t start the new opening with that scene for nothing.
