Normally I post art, but today I just wanted to say thank you. I’m happy to read that so many of you were enthused/delighted/ecstatic about my video game idea. It was fun to read the continued responses. The creators and LJ team are awesome. You the fans, followers and community are awesome. Both inspire me to create more content for you to enjoy and make your days just a little bit better. Thank you a bunch once again! Stay amazing, everyone!

Can this be a thing? I thought how much fun it would be to have a Lumberjanes video game to play. Basic side scroller adventure, and it would have holy kitten power ups and a dinosaur land bonus level. I thought it could have the team dynamic of a LEGO game where each character has a unique ability to unlock certain areas and puzzles.
Feels great to finally finish this. Been working on this one for months off and on. Decided to push myself to complete it. It came out better than I had imagined. Hope you all like it!

Hello friends and kind acquaintances. Been feeling majorly under the weather as of late. Went to a convention, and I think my friends and I picked up some virulent strain from there. Was tired of laying in bed and wanted to draw. (Thank goodness for phone apps.) The room stopped spinning long enough for me to get this piece completed. Figured even the Lumberjanes must catch a bug every once in awhile. Stay healthy out there, everyone! x.x

Soggy Potatoes
Sometimes you hear or see something and your mind runs away with it. Thought it was a rather cute insult that needed illustration. Not quite cursing like a sailor, but close enough.
A quick piece I wanted to make ever since watching the latest episode. Peridot has so many adorable mannerisms. She’s like a grouchy kitty, not quite understanding humans, but interacting with them none the less. I was very tempted to give her a tail and whiskers while sketching.
I feel ya Peridot. There are days when I just want to hiss at people too. >:3

Boba Fett is mostly remembered for two things:
looking cool as hell (this is true)
being a badass (this is completely unfounded, like people who remember Han Solo as a suave ladykiller)
And I’m not judging! Latching onto bit characters simply because they look cool is literally my favorite thing to do in the world. Boba Fett has appreciated a life far beyond what his role actually yielded based strictly on how cool his armor was. You can buy Boba Fett hoodies at Hot Topic. This is amazing for a character whose major contribution was getting Darth Vader to do his job for him and then falling in a hole. I completely support it.
Then the prequels happened and everyone was disappointed to find that…I dunno, Boba was also a shitty kid in addition to being a shitty bounty hunter? It’s fine! I get it. Seeing under the mask and getting a tragic backstory for your favorite mysterious masked asshole ruins the mystique. Well, I come bearing good news: the prequels can be regarded as full canon in a way that not only preserves the mystery of Boba Fett’s identity, but also adds to it in a deeply interesting way.
