I will never be over piccolos twisted relationship with destiny/fate. like he subverts it, inverts it, and submits to it somehow all at the same time.

piccolos destiny was to kill goku to conquer the world and then die by the hands of gokus son. instead he kills goku to save the world and sacrifices himself defending gokus son.
