Suzume continued scratching and petting the feline, even when he rolled to his stomach. “Ah, I wonder how long ago that was…” she mused to herself aloud, “I don’t know this Rin-san, but I’d imagine he’d be worried if he came home and you were still gone.”

Suzume thought for a moment. “Ano… how far is your home from here? Because… maybe if it’s far away enough, I could bring you to my house and give you some fish, then bring you home so your owner doesn’t worry.” She smiled. “Is that okay with you, Kuro-san?”

"Ah, Rin is almost never home. He has a lot of school work," Kuro explained, easing the purring down a bit. "But it's fine. He knows I usually leave the dorm anyway." 

"I'm not sure how far away the dorm is. I've been walking for some time." He's traveled a great distance before and returned home in one piece; he would be fine by himself, he figured. The sound of fish perked the feline's ears right up. "Hai! I love fish!" He hopped up, already excited.

TUTORIAL | Burned Paper Nails

1. Paint your nails with a light nude polish, wait until it’s completely dries.

2. Put a piece of newspaper in alcohol, and wait 15-20 sec.

3.Place the wet paper onto your nails, push it down with your fingers and wait until the alcohol evaporates (7-10 sec), and remove the paper.

4. Topcoat it with clear polish.

5. Draw some lines with black polish, where you want your burned papers edges.

6., 7. Put some black and brown polish with a piece of makeup sponge around the black lines.

8. Clean up the edges with acetone.

9. Use a matte topcoat.

The smile widened as she heard Kuro’s purring. It seemed he was enjoying that emmensely~! “Do you have an owner, Kuro-san?” Suzume asked, wondering if he had gotten lost or something. She never owned a cat before, so she didn’t know the behavior of them at all.

Kuro just barely heard the girl talk. He was enjoying himself too much, but her words managed their way through his ear. "Hai, his name is Rin," Kuro explained as he laid down on his stomach, enjoying the scratching while it lasted. "But he wasn't home, so I left for a walk."

Another giggle and a nod came from the girl. “Hai,” she replied lightly, turning her fingers a bit to scratch carefully behind the cat’s ear. “Ah, Kuro…?” She smiled warmly at him. “It’s nice to meet you, Kuro-san…! I’m Suzume!”

The scratching had done it; Kuro was in kitty heaven. His purr got louder and he shut his eyes out of pure joy. If he needed something to make him feel better, it was this. "Purr...Suzume, ah?" Kuro tried speaking, but his purring got in the way. "It's nice...to meet you, then."

Once again, Suzume only blinked. What did it mean- of course? Said as though there was no other way or something. Shaking her thoughts away, the poet just smiled sheepishly at the cat and softly chuckled.

"Ah, gomen, gomen," she stated, continuing to pet the feline’s head gently. "I’ve never… actually heard a cat talk before, is all… What’s your name?" It was a bit weird, but Suzume was just going with it.

The petting continued and Kuro graciously nudged his head against the girl's hand. He had never met her before and wasn't a hundred percent sure if he could trust her, but the attention was gladly accepted. 

"Really?" he asked, but paused once he realized that not all cats were cat siths, so humans couldn't understand them. It felt weird, actually, to think most felines couldn't be comprehended by people. "Ah, right. My name's Kuro! What's yours?"

Her smile softened more as the cat came to her and sniffed her hand. “Don’t worry- I won’t hurt you,” Suzume promised it gently, then giggled quietly as its head nudged her fingers. She ran them through its fur a few times, only to pause to stare with shock at it.

"Ah- you spoke!" she quietly exclaimed, then blinked in confusion. "How… That was you, right…? W-who spoke just now…?” Suzume had to be losing her mind, to think a cat had just spoken to her.

Kuro let out a soft purr once the top of his head contacted her fingers. He soon paused once the girl exclaimed out of confusion. He looked up at her, startled. The feline stared at her, confused with why his ability to talk was so surprising. Hadn't she ever heard a cat talk before? 

"Of course it was me!" he said suddenly. "I can talk-- just like you!"

OutofMeows; Guys...do you remember that weird tumblr phenomenon we had at one point? When blogs we weren't following popped up on our dashboards and some blogs reblogged posts that the admin never reblogged in the first place?

Well...there's a post from that saved in my drafts and it won't go away. I can't delete. It's not bothering me, it's just...why won't it go away.

Young Kiyoko had been feeling that someone has been following her for a while now, at first she thought it was just a coincidence that person behind her happened to be going to the same place as her, but now she felt strange. “Who are you? And what do you want?” Furiously her body twirled around to face the stranger.

Kuro had been bouncing at a piece of dust -- as usual -- and he was certain he'd be able to catch it this time! But the dust had gotten too close to someone's shoe, and once that someone whipped around, he let out a startled "Mreow!" and hopped a couple steps back.

"Hey!" he called out, glaring up at the girl. "You almost stepped on me!"

"Eh…?" The girl paused when she saw the feline near her. Never able to resist a good cat petting, Suzume smiled warmly and knelt down near the cat, holding a hand out to it. "Here, kitty, kitty~" the girl said softly, not wanting to frighten it away.

Hearing the soft voice, Kuro's attention went directly to the person calling for him. Wait-- calling for him? Excitement built up within the tiny feline, but he kept cautious as he approached the girl's hand.

After giving it a quick sniff, he looked up at the human. "Ah, are you here to play with me?" he asked, hope filling his voice as he nudged his head against her fingers.

Sigh. It's been a while since he last had someone to play with. Rin was always out on some kind of mission and his friends probably were too. And it's not like the sith had many other human friends to play with. Sure, the birds and neighborhood felines were fun, but it had so long since he had a lap to curl up in and just nap. Was that too much for a little kitten to ask for?

"Ah...it's so boring and lonely now. I guess I'll go have to chase the same mice I did yesterday...again."
