I literally have it in my rider in all my contracts as an essential background song during shoots.” The model laughed, pushing her hair behind her shoulder. “Honestly, I have a whole get psyched playlist that’s required to play during shoots. Ooh, you’ve gotta add that song Savage by Megan Thee Stallion. It makes a girl feel like a boss.”

Kit grinned a bit as she heard the woman’s words. “Yeah, that sounds like you got a pumped up playlist.” She crinkled her nose as she looked at the other woman. “Want to let me hear it sometime? I always love hearing someone elses get hyped music.” Kit made a face as she played with some of her hair. “That one is a bop, and my niece totally made me learn the tic tok dance to it.” The girl confessed as a giggle bubbled up inside her.

“Gotta keep my life interesting.” Niklaus made a joke to easily cover up how stressful the situation he’d gotten himself into had actually been. "I mean, I told them both about it, but I also slept with both of them a couple times after that as well. So I’m still a douche bag in the end.” he lifted his shoulders into a gentle shrug, leaning back in his seat now and folding his arms. “I guess I’ll accept a sensible tin over gold, but only because you’re the one giving it to me. If anyone else tried to give me tin I’d rage.” the man joked, raising a brow at her following words about him being a good friend and a good dad. Coming from someone he trusted a lot, those words really did mean a lot to him. Especially the part about being a good dad. Something he quite often doubted at times. “Okay, okay— I’ll stop being mean to….your friend. I’m sorry.” he paused for a moment to put his hands up in mock surrender before slowly lowering them as he continued. “Your friend thanks you for your kind words by the way…”

“Oh but of course, heaven forbid you have a quiet moment.” She teased as she looked at her friend, narrowing her eyes a bit. “I mean you told them, that is probably more than some people would do. It was big of you. And you’re not a douche bag for sleeping with them if they are interested in you. You would have been if you were keeping it from them or purposefully trying to hurt them. Knowing you that isn’t your intention so don’t be so hard on yourself. Just take it easy.” She shrugged as she looked over at him and pressed her lips together. She was surprised her saying he was a good dad seemed to impact him so much. “Good, because if you kept being mean I would have to fight you and you know I’m ruthless. Small but mighty,” she said up in her chair tilting her chin out with a giggle. “Well I’m just being honest, and you’re welcome.” Kit smiled as she leaned back in her chair.

“My favourite Disney movie? You’re asking the big questions now aren’t you - almost too much for so early in the morning.” The redhead joked with a cheeky smirk, considering her options for a couple of seconds before answering. “Probably Mulan, that film is my shit, if there is a person in the world who can hear ‘let’s get down to business’ and not reply with ‘to defat the huns’ I want to meet them so I can personally give them a slap, because that’s just fucking inhuman.” A loud cackle came from her parted lips, one eyebrow quirking at the idea of a drinking game when watching a Hallmark movie. That would no doubt make it more palatable if nothing else. “Next time you wanna give that a go you let me know, I’m here to join in. Nah you’re good, I like that you’re interested, it’s fucking cute.” Normally it was little kids that got excited over her job, then again adults did as well, like Kit said it wasn’t the kind of thing you heard everyday. “What’s the goal then? In terms of moving up.”

Kit smirked as she gave her shoulders. “What can I say, somedays I think I was meant to be a private eye.” The pink haired girl folded her legs as she listened to the response, a bit surprised but also impressed by the answer. “Good choice, that one is such a classic.” She laughed along with her sentiment as her nose crinkled a bit at the infectious laugher. “Yeah? Well I totally will, it’s always nice to have someone else participate in my hallmark movie sessions.” Kit moved to rest her chin against her palm. She made a bit of a face and scrunched up her nose as Sam said it was fucking cute. “That is me, precious as fuck.” She hummed thinking on the question. “Do you mean whats my next step or like where I would like to be when I’m at my prime?” She wondered aloud with a shrug. “Because honestly I would just like something simple. Make more money, have a show people actually listen to, maybe be able to interview some artists. Not really anticipating world domination or anything like that. What about you?”

Kit usually didn’t come to events like this, she was more of a stay at home and play records kind of girl. But once in a blue moon she would force herself to come out. She heard the comment from the other and smirked. “Yeah you and me both. If I had time to plan maybe we could have even color coordinated.”

It was true Valeria had only just met Kit, but first impressions were important, too, no? And from what she’d seen thus far, the other was nice to her. “This is all based off what I see,” she pointed out with a smile. She relaxed in her seat and took a sip of her coffee, as she listened to her opinions. “I used to hear it so much in all the older chick flick movies, now not so much, which is a shame. I think it’s great, and a feel-good tune,” she stated. “I’m a musician. I have a teaching center in Brooklyn and I do private lessons too. I take on composing jobs part-time as well, depends on what’s there. But it is something I’d like to eventually do a lot more of. What about you?”

Kit looked at the gentle seeming blonde girl. She couldn’t help but smile a bit as she leaned forward. “You its always kind of been my dream to score a 90s-early 2000s teen romance movie? It’s totally a nostalgic thing but I love the idea of being able to make a playlist like that. Or even receive one. It’s totally lame but I think there is nothing more romantic than receiving a mix tape from someone.” Kit giggle a little embarrassed that she even admitted this out loud. “Ah that makes sense, you’ve go a musical vibe. That is super awesome, what is it that you teach? Got any specialties?” Kit asked more curious about the stranger.

“There’s a reason why I have so many Instagram followers. It’s all really for the kitty content.” He laughed out at the fact. “If I wasn’t so lazy, I’d just make him his own, but, he does have fans. Guess you could say he’s kind of famous. There’s been a meme going on with him the “Here he come!” meme, if you’ve heard of it.” He was speaking now like the proud parent he was boasting of his adorable child’s achievements. “Oh, yeah? Working nights isn’t so bad. At least for a cat or… maybe a fish? I hear dogs are more needy, though, so that might be rough– Upfront, I’m not the best with advice on that.” He then admitted with an apologetic shrug and half smile.

“I mean that totally makes sense, thinking about it I’d say about 65% of the accounts I follow are animal based. Juniper the fox is a particular favorite of mine.” She nodded as she tapped her fingers against her jawline for a moment. “Oh yeah I think I’ve seen it before. I’ve got a younger cousin who it a total meme queen.” Kit giggled a little as she looked at the cat again. It was clear this person was very proud of their animal. It totally made sense to Kit. “I have though about a fish, but maybe I should start with a plant, it I can manage to keep that alive then I’ll consider upgrading.”

They had grown up with it being a staple of the songs being played around them since it had come out so while their music tastes tended to go off in another direction and they’d probably never ask to listen to it they couldn’t deny how good it was, “Uh…yeah, sure.” They nodded again, moving to sit across from the other.

Kit looked over at them as she placed the end of her pen to her mouth and bit it. She nodded her head as she smiled in agreement. “When it’s good it’s good,” the pink haired girl shrugged her shoulders as she leaned back in her seat. “Cool,” she waited for them to take a seat across from her. “I’m Kit by the way. And whom do I have the pleasure of meeting today?”

Naomi felt a weight being lifted from her shoulders as she entered the coffee shop and headed to stand on the queue. She couldn’t think of anything better at that moment-coffee take-away, probably a cupcake?. Her eyes wandered to the freshly baked muffins behind the glass display. After getting a box of muffins in one hand and her cold brew on the other, a girl holding her pen up was her queue to stop and listen to her. She hummed at her question. “It is indeed a liberating song, although I had a slight notion that Galentine’s should be calmer”, she started saying and let the box of cupcakes on the other girl’s table, just for her to raise her finger. “But, then again I was thinking of getting a pinata for Galentine’s with my sister….so yes, final answer is yes”, she nodded and took the cupcake box off the table, feeling rather awkward. “What other songs are there in that mix?”, she asked her, feeling her cheeks a little hot.

Kit looked over at the other woman with a warm smile. “Id even argue it is a song that was ahead of it’s time.” Kit wiggled her brows with a playful hum. She looked up at the other woman as she tapped her pen on top of her notebook. “I think Galentine’s day can be whatever you want it to be. Some gals celebrate with brunch and a spa day, some celebrate with a bopping dance party. Just depends.” She shrugged her shoulders as she folded her arms across her chest and leaned back. “A pinata? What shape?” She giggled at the thought of it. “A little No Doubt, a Dolly Parton Song, and maybe something else we will see.” She saw her cheeks get a little rosy as she nodded to the seat across form her. “You can sit if you don’t have to take off right away.”

And that’s one of my all-time favorite get hyped songs, so I may be a little biased.” Fallon laughed, taking a sip of her own drink. “You gotta put ‘I Hope’ by Gabby Barrette, since every girl, single or not, scream sings it in the shower. Ooh, and Physical, by Dua Lipa. I don’t know a single girl who doesn’t love that song.”

“Really?” Grinned as she looked over at the other dark haired woman. “Me too, it is one of my favorites as well. Just such a bop.” She nodded as she bounced a little in her chair. She jotted down her other songs requests and grinned up at the other female. “I like your style, also if we are talking songs to scream sing too Since You Been Gone might need to be on there.”

She was a hopeless romantic, but only when it came to her own relationships, not other peoples. At the moment there was part of the girl that thought if she couldn’t be happily in love, no one else should be either, even if that was selfish. “Don’t get me wrong I love a good romance movie, Disney and stuff, but I don’t need it shoved down my throat through a tacky Hallmark holiday.” Unless she was the one being showered with stuffed teddies…obviously. “Interesting profession? Alright Professor, you can relax you know.” She cackled at the formal turn of phrase she’d used, sitting back so she could stretch her legs out next to the table. “Nice to meet you Kit, just Kit, so you spend your days writing playlists and your nights playing them to like five people? Interesting.”

Kit wasn’t the most romantic of people, she had ambition, and she was a loyal friend. But her love life was never something she really had much faith in. Then again this wasn’t something she planned on sharing with anyone. “Well who doesn’t like a good love story, or a disney movie? What is your favorite?” She asked curiously finding the woman across from her very unique. “I mean, I kinda like a trashy hallmark movie, mostly to make fun of. You can make a pretty good drinking game out of them.” She nodded and crinkled her nose a bit. “I’m relaxed, just don’t meet someone with your job everyday. Forgive me for my interest.” She tossed her hair over her shoulder as she leaned back. “Yeah, I’ve been doing it since high school, maybe someday I’ll move up in the world. Fingers crossed.”

“Yeah, they do. I found out that they knew one another when I saw a photo of both of them on Instagram together. And I told them both— I couldn’t keep that shit from them. What makes this even more fucking crazy is that both these women, who are best friends…..are also two of my best friend’s. I’ve known Jules for over four years now, and Red basically all her life.” the blond heaved out a long sigh, which turned into more of a frustrated grumble instead. “Better be a fucking awesome looking acorn. Made of gold.” Niklaus teased jokingly. “Doesn’t have to be romantic sex if you don’t make it romantic? I’m sure a lot of one night stands happen on Valentine’s Day. Guess we’ll only find out tomorrow night.” he shrugged his shoulders and then smirked faintly as she continued to speak. “Okay, mom.” his hands went up in mock surrender, laughing lightly. “Stop feeding my ego. It doesn’t need to be fed.”

“Oooof,” she clicked her tongue shaking her head. “The things you get yourself into my friend.” Kit might have been a flirt, but even she had never gotten herself into a situation like this. “But I mean it was big of you to tell them about it. I mean I’m not sure I would even do that, but we both know I’m kind of flacky in a lot of ways.” She sighed as she folded one arm on top of the other. She lighted to him sigh and grumble. “Um it will be an amazing acorn, but don’t get excited I am not made of gold. A sensible tin is more doable.” She trased as she crinkled her nose at him a little bit. “I mean I am all here for hot steamy my boyfriend broke up with me on valentines day so this is revenge sex sex. Now that sounds more up my alley,” she nodded as she wagged her finger. “I’m not trying to feed your ego. I just am trying to remind you that you are a good friend and good dad so...stop being mean to my friend.” She reached over bopping his nose playfully.

Valeria nodded, relieved she wasn’t intruding, and took a sip of her coffee as she thought of more potential songs for Kit’s list. “Thank you! You’re too lovely,” she replied with a soft smile. Meeting a new friend and discussing music was definitely a better idea than sitting alone, so she was happy Kit had asked for her help an asked her to sit with. “I’m glad we’re on the same page! Those are classics, you can’t go wrong with them.” She thought for a moment after Kit explained further what kind of music she’s going for. “Hmm, maybe Alicia Keys? Girl on Fire? I’m getting song ideas randomly. Not too current. I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross? Also a must, in my humble opinion. It’s such a feel good song.” She grinned.

Kit shrugged her shoulders as she looked at the blonde. “Well I’d argue I’m the right amount of lovely but I’ll take your word for it.” The girl couldn’t help but giggle a bright sound as she looked at the other woman. “No you surely can’t,” she agreed as she tossed some of her pink hair over her shoulder. “Mmmmm, those are good suggestions and I love a little Diana Ross, if you ask me that song is not played nearly enough.” Kit gave a toothy grin as she wrote down the two. “So what is it that you do?” She wondered a little curious about her current company.

“What station again?” she inquired, “you’re like the late-night host who keeps all those night drivers awake, aren’t you?” Emma liked listening to the radio on long drives, not that she’d taken many yet but there was something she particularly enjoyed about the crackling resonance of sound waves just out of reach, of music that was just slightly muffled the further she got from the source. “Oh, I wouldn’t say that, I enjoy it but as much as anyone I suppose.” She had a diverse taste in music, finding things she liked in most every genre and she certainly wasn’t snobbish about it either. “OH! Definitely play the Spice Girls, last someone they played at the O2 arena,” she put her hands up, as though she couldn’t properly explain it, “it was something to behold is the only thing I can say about it. Actually might have died and gone to heaven.”

“It’s Q86.7, it’s kind of that one that plays classics of 80′s 90′s and now. Sometimes I slip something else in if they’ll let me.” She laughed a little shaking her head. “Kinda, I wish I was like Delilah or something. But I don’t give any relationship advice, and I don’t really get callers. That would be fun though.” She nodded as she drummed her fingers against her chin. She arched a brow at the other woman. “Well you look like you got a bit of style to you. I appreciate that.” She gasped a bit at her words. “Seriously!? That sounds totally awesome. I am envious for sure. Not gonna lie Emma Bunton was probably my first crush.” She admitted with a dreamy sigh.

Hey everyone, 

Sorry I went away, I planned on taking a hiatus to just make sure I was caught up on school work and then everything else decided to happen as well. Today I got some unfortunate news that the small business I work at is going to be closing due to the situations at hand. Tomorrow is going to be my last day in until further notice and honestly I’m pretty freaked out and sad about it. Especially since that is my only source of income. I’m very fortunate though. My family is wonderful and we are all taking care of each other. 

Anyways now that I’m going to be social distancing more I will have time to rpg. If anyone wants to plot with my characters let me know plzzzzz.

Ocean blues gazed at the sketch in the other’s grip, it was an impressive drawing, not very original, but he could understand the appeal in the piece. Axel nodded as he produced an idea that would have this particular artwork displayed devinely upon her back. “Hmmm. If you’re not totally married to having it on the left side… I think a piece like this would look bitchin’ positioned in the center and towards your upper back. Were you thinking of having this entirely in black or have you thought of having it in colour?”

Boy he had nice eyes,” she though as he took her sketchbook. Kit shifted a bit nervously fussing with some of her pink hair. She watched him looking at it and she was quiet for a moment after he spoke, considering his question before she nodded. “Yeah, I’m not really married to anything other than the music itself. I know it’s not the most original idea but it is my moms favorite song so...” she trialed off. She chewed the inside of her cheek. “I mean I’m not against color, but I don’t think I want anything too loud, maybe understated and a few details in color, but not the whole thing.” She nodded rolling her shoulders back a bit.
