         staring at the young brown girl in the booth next to her really was rather difficult, if josie could look ANYWHERE but there, that’s exactly what she needed to do. melody ( and val too ! ) were huge parts of josie’s not just as bandmates, but the sisters she’s never had, and it took her tremendous amounts of effort to put her pride. ❛ i- i just wanna let you know, i said things i didn’t mean, and i did things I SHOULD HAVE NEVER DID, and there aren’t any excuses. ❛ her voice slightly cracking, she swallowed the emptiness and her mouth and continued. ❛ i’ve ignored val, for what seems like forever, i’m gonna get to her to, but i just had to state my claim to you, ❜ her voice .... somewhat BOLDER than before, she determined to get her friend ( sister ) back. ❛ so, i’m only gonna do this once, and if it fails, so be it, right ? ❜ she sniffled, pulling out ... a pair of BEDAZZLED KITTY EARS and putting them on her head full of curls, before pulling out yet another and offering them to melody. ❛ whaddya say, PUSSYCAT ? ❜

          it’s been a few days since the first episode of  kosie kouch talk  was released,  &  while cheryl had watched it the moment it had hit social media  ( she absolutely 100% gets notifications every time josie tweets ),  her opinion about the little segment had to have time to brew. leave it to cheryl blossom to decide her criticism is needed in places it  REALLY  isn’t.  “ so, i have some questions, comments,  &  concerns. ”  it’s really just comments, though. criticising ones, obviously.  “ might i suggest  PROPER  hair  &  make up? whilst of course  YOU  were the star of the show, one would think someone who so proudly labels himself the  gay best friend  would manage to look a little less… drab  on camera. ”  –  “ so! i was thinking, maybe you should consider a stylist. ”  &  maybe that stylist should be her. she’s free.  /  @kittysclaw

         water SPEWED lightly from josie’s mouth at cheryl’s comment about kevin. the blossom had a knack for quick witty comments that most would fine rude, offensive & downright mean, which they were, of course, but it did not stop josie from getting her laugh in, as it was quite hilarious, to her at least. ❛ WONDERFUL idea, cheryl, really ... BUT, no one touches my hair but me and whoever i trust to do my hair that day, ❜ she said, making it clear. her hair difficult to maintain, but it was still precious. ❛ however, makeup & clothing choices ? i’m all ears, who do you think would be a stylist ? ❜  she questioned, rhetorically.

          ❛ BLESS HIS HEART, i still remember the day he waltzed into the music room thinking i’d write him a song off the bat ... things were SO simple then. well, you did infamously ‘sticky maple’ their homegirl, so i think that grudge is still held. he’ll be okay in the long, eventually, we can only hope for the best. anyway, it’s sad how we’re almost like, accustomed to  murder now in this town, if anything we need a break. there are no ‘ pussycat fights ‘ mostly because the kitties aren’t worth it, at this point. anyway, how’s college ? ❜

Fred was seated in Pops, coffee sitting in front of him that he was barely drinking, but it was the least he could do to at order something while he took up a booth since his appetite was gone. Archie being in prison had him up all night, but the police finally told him that he needed to leave, something about visiting hours. He honestly he didn’t care about visiting hours, his son was in jail for a crime he didn’t commit, but he could only argue for so long until they were escorting him out. The news had spread around in an instant thanks to the register and he really wasn’t focusing on the gossip and speculation, just trying to get his son out of jail. “What the hell am I supposed to do?” He muttered to himself as his fingers traced the rim of his cup over and over again, feeling drained and concerned.

        JOSIE thanked the cashier for her food, before taking the bags filled with burgers and fries in one hand, and a chocolate & vanilla swirl milkshake ( with cookie crunch ! ) in the other she was on her way out before she spotted a redhead, one of the only in riverdale that didn’t belong to a BLOSSOM. her fighting with herself in her mind a bit before walking over to the booth where FRED was at.  ❛  MR ANDREWS .... ❜ her voice as soft as it could be, almost as soft as her on the mic.  ❛ i-i just wanted to say that i am beyond sorry for you, and your family, i mean i can’t imagine... but you and i both archie did NOT do this, and i have no doubt veronica, jugead, and betty are going to get to the bottom of this, and the rest of us will be by their side without a doubt, i gave you as many of my nine lives as needed when you were in the hospital, and it’s only right that we give archie the same... not that he’s like... dying or anything, but he needs ALL the support right now, uh, hows he doing ? ❜

          ❛ i’d never ditch my SISTER. i was down from the day i brought cat ears to practice and dubbed us PUSSYCATS. if you really wanna hold that grudge, cheryl, god BLESS her ... twisted heart, set up a meeting with a producer and i willingly went, with no intention of actually signing a deal. what do i look like ? especially when we were at the top of our game. but, i guess my explanations don’t matter. you two seem to enjoy playing second fiddle as VERONICA LODGE and the pussycats. ❜
