Short answer is enemies to fuck buddies to SITUATIONSHIP with SUPER complicated feelings, argue-> break up-> somehow always ending up together vibes tbh lol

Also honestly who doesn't like some TENSION where they just pull each other deeper into their own self made hole plus they're divorced with kids

A longer answer which I hope is what you're looking for—

Part of the appeal is how completely opposite they are, not in an opposites attract but in a you are everything I try so hard not to be that it's a magnetic pull where they constantly try to push each other away but ultimately can't let the other go because of how completely different they are and the impact they make on each other

Ras trusts no one, believing the world is an unforgiving and cruel place where you have to use and destroy others to remain on top, because he cannot be "weak", in reality he has deep insecurities and trauma he never let's get to the surface, suffocating these feelings until they are no longer, he pushes everyone and everything out focusing only on the mission.

Lloyd is someone who is an extremely compassionate and righteous person that refuses to let the anger and hatred have any part in who he is and how he acts because he is afraid of what he might become, seeing first hand time and time again what hatred can do, how it can hurt and destroy that he has become so afraid of this outcome (being like his father or any of the villains he's faced) that he chooses the direct opposite, trusting and helping people even when he gets hurt he accepts it and carries on. This is the weakness Ras is trying so hard to push out, while Ras is exactly what Lloyd tries so hard to push against, they are flipped inside out and cannot help but clash so well as characters.

Outside of the canon, when pairing these two together especially romantically it is a never ending battle of such differing ideals and personalities yet still yearning to be with each other, Ras wishes to give Lloyd the love he deserves, the love he wants but he understands that he could never because he is far too scarred, far too different from Lloyd's world that in reality he would rather leave than face his own feelings and ideals because that is exactly what he has been running from his entire life. Lloyd can see the stone wall he puts up and never lets down, but neither of these two communicate because that would be acknowledging what they have between each other and they are far too deep into this confusing mess of emotions they made that they would rather silently stay together than ruin the relationship that they both know will inevitably crumble, preferring to keep what they have until it is severed.

I'll stop here considering you just wanted to know some of the appeal/why people ship it and I already got pretty far lol😅

Couple of the century, Crystalized headcanons!

Harumi did die, The Overlord had found her body soon after and used the crystals to resuscitate her

The crystals were adept at mimicking a regularly working body so Harumi barely noticed until she was given more power and felt the crystals inside her body spike and grow (she grows crystal devil horns cause I said so).

Miniscule crystals flow through her blood stream, discoloring skin and such

I plead mania as her cause (RIP Harumi's writing she did NOT deserve that loll) her consciousness was brought back in The Overlord's plane as well as revived with a destructive crystal, her revival was a form of reimagining Harumi through an evil lense, making her manic in a way, the crystals manipulate the way she thinks and feels.

Clinging to her safety net Harumi rebuilt Mr.E, being the only one she has ever trusted but because she did not actually have his previous parts including what made him who he is she rebuilt him based on her own memories and feelings using the crystals

She herself is distorted as well as her memories so the newly built Mr.F truly is the new model, so close yet so far from the E she remembers

Although it pains her to see an imitation of him, Harumi knows it's better to have a piece of him with her then none at all.

Mr.F uses a piece of the crystal in his chest as a new power source, continuously growing inside of his mechanical body. Seeping through his faceplates, or any opening it can

The crystals growing from within him pulse, making his visible crystals look almost alive from the inside

He uses the energy from the crystal to act as fuel, this is why he has many different tubes attached to him.

The most notable difference in Mr.F and Mr.E is his use of guns, this was not his fighting style at all considering he was close combat (most likely because Zane was ranged) I like to think this difference pains Harumi in a way because it is so different

Autistic Zane headcanons because the VA made a video on it and I am so very happy

I appreciate him trying his best to understand and even saying he does believe Zane is on the spectrum! Zane is the best autism representation in media I have ever seen so here are my headcanons on the matter

He had a hard time considering himself autistic because he is a robot, although he doesn't say it aloud he wonders whether it's possible or it's just a flaw in his coding.

He's later excepted that all terms can apply to him regardless of his fundamental differences, in ninjago coding can be just as real as humans and he is autistic.

His special interest is birds, I can just feel it

It's common for autistic people to take on traits and personalities from their favorite characters and he LOVES doing this.

Whether it's a detective or a ship captain he loves analyzing character tropes and consuming as much content from them as possible, going through many phases where he would start reading new fantasy books and start mimicking certain behaviors for fun.

He loves trying out different voices for the characters and Jay is always excited to see him show them off.

He begins to subconsciously mask around Skybound to Hands of Time but starts seriously masking and trying to seem neurotypical from the Oni Trilogy and onward.

He starts to realize how much of a toll it's taking on him in Crystalized and starts trying medication from then and into DR.

The Ninja aren't a big fan of Zane on meds, he has gone through multiple medications throughout the years and he would try one for half a year or so and he would act a little different with each one.

The Ninja weren't very aware of autism in the beginning and just assumed Zane was weird but they are all more aware of it now (excluding Kai tbh he still doesn't understand or care about neurotypical vs neorodivergent it's just Zane) and they all miss when he was more open in the beginning and make a point to never make him feel bad because he feels very different on meds and they all wish he wouldn't but nobody really says it aloud because Zane is very happy with them when he lands on one he likes.

His form of stimming is when he learns about a new phrase or word that excites him, he tends to repeat it a lot or he brings it up when he can (e.g. "mirage" and "I sense")

He finds the cold to be relaxing and help him when he's overstimulated. The sensation of the cool air around him helps him focus on his surroundings, before Zane remembered his past he did not know why he found such comfort in the snow but he did and he would sit under water for as long as he could because it was cold and quiet whereas his town was loud and unpleasant.

This is also why he was in the fridge, it is a cold, quiet and closed off.

Him overheating (especially when his face plate fell off during work) is like a visual representation of him being overstimulated. It's something he finds very embarrassing and continues to make sure his system does not overheat anymore.

I know flux is usually used for Aroflux but I feel like she is the opposite, she usually feels alterous attraction that occasionally fluctuates to Aromantic, maybe Aroflux would be fine considering Alterous attraction isn't Allo but I feel like it describes it better

E: He/They / Libramasculine Apagender / Unlabeled

No sexuality because he has literally never talked about it nor cares to

Killow: He/Any excluding fem pronouns / Cupiromantic / Queerplatonic

I feel like he would LOVE having a Queerplatonic lover where they go on taco dates and hold hands but it's not romantic idk

Honestly I chose this off of vibes but I feel like she would hate people hitting on her

Pixal is so transfemme to me (headcanons ahead)

Even though Cyrus Borg was making her with the intention of making a woman I think he chose to make her androgynous or genderless seeming so she doesn't have to deal with the stigma surrounding a female AI assistant and the harassment that follows

I mainly believe this because Pixal was not only introduced with her chest partially exposed but she is also very clearly flat

And she has never had the printing for a woman's chest in her minifigures, despite Nya (and the many other woman of ninjago) consistently do, even having her armor pattern compensate for the extra support.

I personally don't feel like she would appreciate her appearance pre hands of time, once she rebuilt herself she did so in a way she truly envisions herself

I think she would not only give herself boobs but also a more curvy body in general, when designing a robot I don't think Cyrus would be paying much attention to giving much fat or body weight and a thinner frame has been widely standardized, I don't think Pixal would like being so small/thin

A bigger body can help bulk up her Samurai X suit as well so it is less obvious she's a woman

Although her most recent figure in casual wear still depicts her flat I just personally like my headcanon more than flat Pixal

Thanks! It is, She was built to be more or less genderless even though Cyrus Borg's original intention was a female android. It's definitely a form of gender affirming care! And I love it for her!!
