Hey friend! Seems like you got hit by the Ray Ban Sale đ§Ą
đđđ iâve had like 7 emails from tumblr and just ignored them consistently
how did this even happen i am in shock
mutals as iconic sports moments??
I love this. fair warning: Most of them are going to be baseball because thatâs what I know but please enjoy them.
@archaicmusings- the introduction of Gritty. Not only is Cal Grittyâs #1 fan, but every day she shares a new story thats wilder than the next and thatâs how I feel about Gritty (See: his Ratatouille musical audition here)
@joemazzmatazz- Kirk Gibsonâs go ahead home run, 1984 World Series (clip here) Anytime I see Regan get tagged in a âmutuals asâ with time periods, she always rightfully gets the 80s so I went with an 80s clip. This home run solidified the World Series win for my beloved Tigers. Itâs their last World Series win to date so this clip runs quite a bit. Itâs one of my favorites, like Regan <3
@brianmays-hair- Jessâ doesnât have a clip but I found this photo of Bobby Kennedy and heâs holding a football. It looks pretty iconic so it qualifies for this mutuals as ask lol
@six-bloodyminutes- Magglio Ordonez 2006 ALCS (here with the radio overlap, which is better than the TV call by far). Listen.... This moment that solidified my already deep love of baseball and the Tigers. It is one of those âwhere were you when?â moments that sticks with you forever. Mo is one of my favorites that will stick with me in my mind forever. shout out to Tumblr for bringing her (and all of these people mentioned) into my life.
@hijackmy-heart- David Freese Walk Off 2011 World Series (link). I honestly canât even tell you why I tie Nat to this clip but while watching it I thought âNatâ and just went with it lol This moment is particularly iconic for me. I was rooting hard for the Cards to win because the the team they were playing, The Rangers, had beaten my beloved Tigers real bad. Again, not sure why I picked Nat for it but I love this moment so Nat I hope you take it as a compliment LOL
@almightygwil- Ellie is iconic and there is arguably no sports moment more iconic than Babe Ruthâs called shot. I couldnât find a video (bc Iâm pretty sure it doesnât exist) so enjoy this artistic painting.
@kiwi-hardy- Ireland Vs. England Six Nations 2017 (link). I got a little lazy with this one but watching the Six Nations tournament has been a huge part of the last 5 years of my life and Leah is one of my favorite Brits (even though I cheer for the Irish ;) ). Maybe one day when travel is safe again, Iâll watch a game in person in the UK with you (idk if you even like rugby, I just really miss England and being able to travel anywhere lol)
@ineloqueent @deacyblues @dancingdiscofloof - These three are just iconic women that I adore. I also adore Queen at Ridge Farm so these photos seemed like a natural fit.
mutuals as montreal gifs
I hate love whoever sent me this. I couldnât decide so everyone is getting TWO đ. Most of these are Deaky but we all know itâs justified lolÂ
I usually just tag my hoesâ˘ď¸ but this moment in time is so iconic so I added a couple more of my favorite people on heređĽ°đĽ°
This also flagged the images as sensitive content on my phone so they might so that on the desktop toođđ
(side note: Iâve had most of these gifs for a while and I canât for the life of me remember who they are from so sorry for no credit!! yâall are doing Gods work by memorializing this iconic moment in history)

Mutuals as y/n in fics youâve written?
ngl this one was a challenge because i pretty much write all my readers to be like my hoe ass but let the chaos begin
also yes i am linking the fics because always be plugging
also also i cheated and used some blurbs because some of my fics are too angsty to even associate with my lovely mutuals
mutuals as y/n from the fics you've written (yes i love causing chaos).
HAHAHAHAHA at this is iconic
mutuals as iconic harry styles outfits!!
oh BABY am I excited to do this one
@almightygwil
Ellie is the chick sweater bc it makes me insanely happy and itâs so...amazing? soft? the embodiment of all things good in this world? Thatâs Ellie for ya and I love her so much.
@archaicmusings
Cal is this ICONIC Gucci suit. It has this old art print sort of vibe and I think thatâs something that Cal would appreciate. Itâs simple, but eye catching and honestly a masterpiece and Cal is absolutely amazing and deserving of the title âmasterpiece.â
@deacyblues
Edgy. Different. Eye catching. Thatâs just me describing Pearl (the the suit lol). Harryâs Met Gala look is in my top 5 Harry looks of all time bc I mean LOOK AT IT! I also think Pearl would kill this look herself tbh.
@brianmays-hair
Jess I love you so much, but the detailing on this suit gives me grandma vibes, and I think it fits your vibe very well. Itâs regal and the lapels remind me of a dress a woman would has worn in days gone by (maybe in a period piece movie perhaps?) Jess I know I always associate you with historical things and I will continue to do that. Love you!
@ineloqueent
This outfit is Tina. Tina is this outfit. This suit gives me very similar vibes to the home decor is chose for Tina in my âmutuals as home decorâ post (listen idk how to explain it this is my post let me do what I want). Itâs simple, minimalist even, but packs such a punch. The pink sunglasses add a bit of spice and excitement and make the look interesting, just like what Tina brings to the chat :)
@im-an-adult-ish
Meredith is THE cardigan. Fun, colorful, exciting. I love Meredith so much? And I also love this cardigan. Itâs got that fun loving energy that I think Meredith exudes and, like the chick sweater, makes me SO happy!
@joemazzmatazz
Regan is the Vogue cover dress. Just absolutely iconic, showstopping (and maybe my favorite thing ever???). I know that Regan says she isnât cool but, spoiler alert, she is. This look is also just as cool and edgy and I think Regan is. (Itâs my favorite look too but shhhh donât tell her that I donât want her to get a big head).
@hijackmy-heart
Nat is the Victoriaâs Secret fashion show suit. Itâs blue and as I think Iâve said before, I associate Nat with blue bc when we do our video calls, her room is all blue. But besides that, itâs a really elegant look, but Harry was have a BLAST that night and I think the photo captures the funny/happy energy Nat brings
@kiwi-hardy
Chaotic. If youâve seen the pictures and videos of Harry at the Brit Awards, Harry was MEGA chaotic that night. Leah is also chaotic. Hence why I gave Leah this look!
@dancingdiscofloof
Rove is the TPWK music video suit. I think this look is so amazing and the music video had big âshow businessâ themes to it and bc Rove works in TV I felt it a good fit. Itâs fun and shiny and pretty and amazing and I also think Rove would kill it if she wore this look :)

writing fanfic more like:
have I used that word recently *ctrl + f* shit
âare you still working on that fic?â last edited: 24th January 2005Â âhaha of courseâ
that feeling when someone comments
planning a fic down to the words youâll use without anywhere to write it down and getting home and remembering none of it
itâs just a fic no one will care about inaccuracies *spends four hours researching a 2000-word one-shot*
grammar
*sees word in advert* yes thatâs a good word Iâll remember that word *never uses word*
my last four fanfics are centred around this character and while it means their characterisation is perfect, people are yelling at me
âoh you write? can you name a character after meâ âummmâ
is that a real word *red line appears* well why isnât it

Your from the UK right??? Not to make u sad but imagine going to Asda with Ben at 2 in the morning (u only went for some milk) and u end up coming out with almost the entire shop in ur trolley đđ Happens to the best of us
âWeâre only going for milk.â He quietly mumbled as he aimed the keys at the car and pressed the lock button, hearing the sound of the mechanisms working to ensure the car wouldnât get stolen from the car park. He held his hand out for you to take before he crossed the Serbs crossings, giving a silent nod to a car thatâd stopped so the two of you could pass.
It was a gentle reminder but also a jest at himself, considering the last time heâd gone to Asda this late, heâd returned home with a new DVD player for your living room, an abundance of on-sale Easter chocolate, and a DIY friendship bracelets set (it was located in the 6 years and over section, but he wouldnât tell anyone that part.)
The bracelets aforementioned had been tied to your wrists for a month and a half now, yours was a braided black, white and yellow band while his was black, white and red. He somehow matched his outfit, black jogging bottoms, a red Nike hoodie and the best part of allâŚ. socks with sliders. Youâd claim that if he wore those out of the house, youâd pretend not to know him, but later decided that it was more endearing than embarrassing. His socks were black with red love hearts printed all over them, some youâd got him for Valentineâs Day as he claimed that âa pair of socks is the best present you could ever buy a man.â
You, on the other hand, wore a pair of black leggings, paired with an extremely worn âRolling Stones 1979 Tourâ acid wash t-shirt. Ben had insisted that you wear one of his jackets, given the fact that your local Asda always seemed to be freezing around this time, so it was topped off with a navy blue Nike Air Max windbreaker. Your fluffy bed socks really pulled the outfit together.
You each had one of Benâs AirPods in your ear, currently listening to a song by The Lumineers, one that Ben described to you as making him feel as if he was ârunning down a sandy beach trying to get to you.â His pinky finger slid around your pinky finger as he strayed to the shelter where all the trolleys (shopping carts) were located.
He always pushed the trolley, claiming his driving skills were better than yours, but you knew the only reason he enjoyed pushing them so much was so he could âfly down the aislesâ, an act in which he would push the cart extremely fast when there was nobody near you, and lift his feet from the ground, letting the cart take all his weight.
The song ended and changed to a Snoop Dogg song, to which you quirked an eyebrow, asking, âWhat fucking playlist is this?â with a laugh.
You walked through the sliding doors, Ben already getting distracted by some plants that were on clearance at the front doors, silently placing 2 small plant pots with some sort of pink flower in the middle into the cart.
There was a display as soon as you entered the shop floor, a large green cardboard cut out of the grinch, next to it sitting a handful of Christmas DVDâs, letting all the customers know that they could âBuy 1 Christmas DVD and receive a free 9â pizzaâ. Benâs eyes immediately lit up, turning his head towards yours as he exclaimed that Christmas films and food are two of his favourite things ever. You shook your head in disbelief as you picked through the DVDâs, most of them being new and animated films youâd never heard of.
You were looking for one in particular, though you had little faith that it would be in the same pile as these cartoon ones. Ben loved The Nativity, one of the funniest Christmas films in the world, he reckons. He thought Martin Freeman was one of the best actors ever, and that along with Marc Wootton, it had to be the best film ever.
You rifled through the array of cases, finally picking out a white cover that read, âThe Nativity!â You placed it in the cart, seeing Benâs eyes light up as he bounced up and down in excitement, like a child.
âCan we get pepperoni on the pizza? Please!â He whined, earning a âyesâ from you, to which he skipped down the aisle and giggled like a schoolboy.
You reached the fridges, Ben picking up 2 pints of milk and putting them in the trolley before giving an accomplished nod.
âCan we âave a look at some vinyls?â He asked, with a pleading pout that he knew always won you over.
âOoh, yeah actually, Gwil said he wanted the Hamilton vinyl a couple of weeks ago. Might be a good present, yeah?â You suggested, knowing it would result in Ben realising he hadnât yet bought Christmas presents for any of his friends yet, something youâd been trying to gently remind him of for the last couple of weeks.
You made your way to the music section, getting distracted by anything and everything you could find. Ben was clinging onto a t-shirt with a green dinosaur on it, lit up by Christmas lights with a star on top of its head, the phrase âTree-Rexâ printed underneath it.
He held up the knitted fabric to you, and you both whispered, âJoe.â at the exact same time. It was folded and placed into the cart.
A pack of 250 small Christmas cards was the next thing to grab your attention, Ben telling you that the two of you âhad to send the neighbours a card this year, considering the amount of times theyâve had to endure foolish giggles and the  creaky bed really late at night!â Youâd simply nodded with a chuckle, though he didnât put them in straight away. He noticed the box had been busted open at the top and went on a hunt for an unopened box. He reached his arm all the way back into the shelf, jokingly asking you to hold his hand so he didnât get lost. He finally grabbed a pack, throwing them into the trolley from about a meter away and doing a celebratory dance when they went in.
One of the lights overhead flickered, which caused Ben to turn to you with an over-exaggerated gasp, claiming âAsda is haunted!!!!â and running away from you frantically. You guffawed at his antics, lightly jogging after him while trying to catch your breath from laughing.
After collecting your pizza on the way to the music section, Ben made a quick turn down the homeware section. He browsed the cushion cases, holding up a few colours and patterns that he thought may match your living room sofa, all of which received a horrified glare from you (this was the exact reason you didnât let him take the lead when you decided to start decorating your flat together⌠his first suggestion was warm brown walls with a stripy turquoise and black sofaâŚ)
He reached the mirror section, finding an extremely large plain mirror, with no frame, slowly running his finger over the edge of it.
âMight buy us this for Christmas.â He stated.
Your brows raised in confusion, tilting your head to tell him you were unsure why heâd said it.
âOne of them naughty mirrorsâŚâŚ when you put it on the ceiling so Iâd be able to see everything when youâre ridi-â  your hand quickly shot over his mouth, your eyes widening as you took in what he meant. You could feel his lips sporting a smirk beneath your palm. You shook your head and giggled along with him.
âC'mon babe⌠know youâd love seeing this juicy cheeks every time Iâm on top of youâŚâ you lightly smacked his chest and delivered a sharp, yet humorous, âenough!â.
Once youâd finally made it to the music section, Ben appeared to be in his element. Heâd picked up the Hamilton vinyl for Gwilym, as well as a new Ariana Grande record for Lucy. He was eyeing up Taylor Swiftâs newest release, hoping you wouldnât notice when he slipped it into the cart. He groaned when you looked him directly in the eyes and shook your head with a knowing smile on your face.
âI was gonna give you that for Christmas! Now youâve ruined the surprise!â He whined with a pout.
âYou are all I want for Christmas.â You replied, already cringing wondering if anyone else had heard you.
He, too, shook his head, but still gave you a quick kiss on the cheek to show his appreciation for you.
The next aisle was the clearance aisle. This was a dangerous one for Ben. His Mum had always taught him ânever to pass up a bargain, cause youâll see it one day, regret not buying it, go back the next day and itâll be gone!â.
Within 5 minutes of browsing the shelves, heâd picked up a large Christmas-themed Yankee Candle gift set for his brother, a turkey-shaped dog toy for Frankie (this one youâd suggested) as well as a pack of 3 photo frames and a new flower vase for his mum.
Walking to the checkout was always a dangerous game, as the bakery part of the shop was located right next to all the tills. Heâd always claim to be âjust lookingâ while you unloaded the trolley onto the moving belt so the cashier could scan your items, and most times he only came back with a box of flapjacks or at the most, 2 jam donuts and a reduced fat chocolate eclair cake.
What you werenât expecting today, however, was for your boyfriend to return with a basket heâd picked up from somewhere, filled with pastries and cakes that made your mouth water.
âTheseâll be alright til Christmas Eve wonât they? Can watch Nativity with our little pizza ân then fill ourselves wiâ these after? Yeah?â You didnât really get a chance to reply before the food was placed down onto the belt. Youâd never seen him so happy with himself, thinking heâd just come up with the best idea in the entire world, even though youâd done basically the same thing for the last 2 years of spending Christmas together.
The cashier gave you your total, a whopping ÂŁ110, even though youâd originally come in for 2 pints of milk, which shouldâve brought your total to aroundâŚ. ÂŁ3.
He shook his head with a small smile as he took his card out of his wallet, swiping it over the reader and thanking the lady when she gave him his receipt. He rolled the trolley out onto the car park, you following closely behind telling him to unlock the car so youâd be able to hear the beep it made and find it, considering how dark it was outside. After locating the vehicle, he gently placed all the items in the backseat, taking extra care to make sure the pizza was cushioned by Joeâs new shirt and Frankieâs new toy. He dropped the trolley back off at the shelter before getting into the car, strapping his seatbelt and turning the radio on.
Paul McCartneyâs âWonderful Christmastimeâ filled the speakers, causing Ben to let out a quiet, âWhat a fuckinâ banger!â.
You couldnât resist the urge to lean over and give him a peck on the cheek and a ruffle of his hair. You simply were having a wonderful Christmas time.

One of my favorite things to see is random people trying to interact with unfamiliar outdoor cats. Just standing there with a hand out, making kissy noises, maybe meowing at the cat while it ignores them. Mankind at its best and least dignified
