So many big thanks to @mamainastitch for this amazing “Endless Eyelets” pattern. It works up so beautifully in @lionbrandyarn Mandala yarn. Jessica used the Centaur colourway in her original version. It just so happened I was making a blanket in the Spirit colourway when I saw her blog post, and frogged it immediately. I just wasn’t feeling the blanket anyway, and my enthusiasm for this cardi was so strong that I successfully used it as the motivation to get a couple of other WIP’s finished off. It’s about the simplest clothin Perth pattern I’ve come across as it’s essentially 5 rectangles of granny stitch. Jessica recommends whip stitch for assembly, I’m no good at hand stitching, so after attempting it, I pulled it to bits and single-crocheted the seams. SCAM ALERT ‼️ For anyone who uses @payid.au to receive payments for your handmade goods (and the hard work, love and effort you put into them) don’t be fooled by scammers like this. She supposedly paid me, then messaged to say she’d received an email with instructions that I needed to follow in order to release the payment. Not surprisingly the email (2nd photo) was in my junk folder and it immediately rang alarm bells for me, and I headed to @payid.au ‘s website (3rd photo) to have my suspicions confirmed. The moral of the story: NEVER EVER believe an email (or text) that directs you to pay for something in order for you to get paid!!
