Assassins Creed Cowl.
Created as per here
BEHOLD, FOR I HAVE MADE A THING :D
Created after seeing the hat that can be found here , which sadly, does not have a pattern (afaict)
So I figured it couldn't be that hard, and began to make my own, teaching myself (at least the basics of) needlefelting in the process. However, it is finally finished, and I am extremely happy with the final result :)
For reference, the eye colours of the stalk eyes are (clockwise from bottom left) Red, Green, Brown, Yellow, & Purple. The Centre eye is a Cyan-Blue colour
Yet another Commission, seen here being modelled by the delightful owner.
Tis a Slouchy beanie, with detachable beard, very similar to the one I made for Sneezy in the OULES show “Fairest of Them All”
Crocheted Creations for the Oxford University Light Entertainment Society show “Fairest Of Them All”
From Left to Right we have:
Hat & Beard for Sneezy, a Dwarf.
Beard for The Lumberjack
Ridiculous “Hyper-reaslistic” Hair for Rapunzel
Beard and Hat created for the OULES show “Fairest Of Them All”
Beard pattern available from http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/viking-or-dwarven-beard
Hat pattern available here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/unisex-slouchy-beanie
So I’ve started needlefelting, cos apparently I'm a masochist or something :P Partially due to wanting to try and create my own beholder hat (as has been doing the rounds on the interwebs) and at least making my first attempt via a similar method to the original. If I attempt a second version, I may try crocheting eyes
TOOTHLESS, as seen in HTTYD2
Crocheted Mostly to pattern as seen here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/toothless-4
Eyes made from a corruption of http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crochet-peacock-feathers
I’ve recently added a page to the blog with my contact details and also opened the ask box up in case anyone wants to contact me about comissions or similar.

Apparently People Like Kraken Hoods. Yet Another Comission, for 3 of them this time.
Finally finished this project for myself. Wanted to do something to commemorate the life of Sir Pterry. Decided a cuddly Luggage was the best plan. Found this wonderful pattern, and have been slowly crocheting it since. The body used up the spare yarn leftover from the Groot I did a while back.
Luggage seems to be having a good time hanging with the Librarian and Death. I’m sure nothing will go wrong from letting these reprobates hang out together.
Someone commissioned me for a thing \^^/ Seen here modelled by the lovely owner, a Purple be-tentacled Squid Hat, sized to fit. Yet again, I forgot to warn the new owner of potential mind-links to elder things and deep sea beasties, but I’m sure no harm will come of it
3rd Attempt at Crochet. Decided to make myself a Dicebag, in order to allow me to split the various dice I have up. Made this one using the pattern available here. Partly because I wanted to experiment with the Dragonscale/crocodilescale stitch seen.
Now that is has been gifted, allow me to present the first thing I ever crocheted: A Kraken Hood with Tentacles. Modelled here on the gracious recipient. I can't remember whether I warned him of the mind-link to an actual giant squid it seemed to manifest as I was crocheting it, but I'm sure he'll work it out.
Designed from http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kraken-of-the-sea-scoofie---monster-hooded-scarf , with some modifications to the various tentacle ends, and not being able to get the suckers to work.
So, Last weekend I taught myself Crochet. This is the Second thing I have crocheted. A poseable Groot doll, pattern as seen here: http://goo.gl/fCjyjG
Made for a friend as part of the Pass It Forward Initative that was going round facebook at the Start of the Year
One of my current Projects. Is going to have a full Dwarven Beard and hair attached, because :D. Following the pattern as it is my first attempt at something like this, I discovered that either my head was too large to the pattern or I'd picked the wrong size yarn, or gauge was off, or a combination of any of the three, hence why the knobbly sections are higher up than they might otherwise be.
Went to the local Yarn shop yesterday. Saw some really pretty multicoloured Aran yarns. Apparently there's an entire set of them based off of British Bird species. So now I'm trying to think of things to knit with them for Ornithocracy >_> (Most if not all of the species would be members of the Green/Red)
Latest Knitted Thing. Decided to make a Cushion, is Very Comfy. The Colourful Side has a Basketweave pattern, whilst the Monotone side has a ripple pattern, primarily cos I wanted to test ability at different patterns. The Ripple pattern definitely seems looser than the basketweave, but overall I'm happy with it.
