omg thats basically why i left ibis paint.. I hate how ibis paint works and how most of the people on there will only like your art if you draw one of the fandoms that THEY are in and are not willing to look at anything else on there. It was very hard for me to put my art out there when I used to post on there, everytime I would post an art peice I would immediately get self conscious about my art style and I would eventually just give up. And the way that ibis paint algorithm works is so buns.. I still use it to draw my digital art but i rlly dont recommend making an account on there and full time posting on it.. :/

Honestly, i do understand, but I've seen multiple good AND famous artists from ibis tbh, ibis is SUCH an underratted app, it's very good for free yk 🥹 And like, the famous arists use view bait all the time too lol, it just gets tiring at a point as an artist, i want people to genuinely admire my art instead of having to bait them to see it but that's just survival for artists on instagram 😭😭
