Just realised every single Gen 8 Legendary group had at least one of its members nerfed into SV

Intrepid Sword/Dauntless Shield now only activate once per battle Regieleki's Transistor from +50% boost to +30% Single-Strike Urshifu's Wicked Blow from 80bp to 75 Calyrex-Ice's Glacial Lance from 130bp to 120 Power-creep literally got away from them, and they had to walk all of them back (except for the Galarian birds. The birds are safe)

Unseen Fist now only deals 1/4th damage through Protect (According to datamines) Calyrex-Shadow's Astral Barrage from 120bp to 110

Pokemon Champions has an extremely small roster of both Pokemon and items.

Notably, a lot of items you could describe as "complicated" or "weird" are not in at the moment : AV, the Choice items, Life Orb, Clear Amulet, Covert Cloak, the terrain seeds, Room Service, Lagging Tail...

I think we're in the "tutorial phase" of Champions. I have no doubt these items will be added later in and this is just to not overwhelm new players with tons of weird items right out the door but I still don't love that the first season of Champions is going to be "baby's first competitive game"

I've been watching a lot of videos "ranking the new ZA Megas" "Giving the ZA Megas abilities" and such, and seeing everyone be confounded by Mega Scovillain and putting it at the very bottom of every list has made me love it even more.
