There seemed to be no end to the inclination of the train. It kept going upward, without a stop. The people sitting in front of them were screaming with glee. Are they crazy or something?

Suddenly, Kamina saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

"Simon! I think we’re getting outta here real soon!"

He heard them too—delighted, joyous screaming. There was no end to it. Simon felt a lump forming in his throat. What kind of situation did they think this was!?
