Sharing a property, for Nakajima, was far from being insignificant . In the oh-so-complicated history of his relationships, it was easy to say that not once he accepted that type of major commitment - too attached to his own lifestyle, perhaps too selfish to put it aside. When it came to Koharu though, he didn’t think twice before accepting. As much as she was needy of his presence, he was too. A part of him knew it wouldn’t be that easy to focus at the beginning. Having her around would certainly be a great temptation to just cook together, take baths together, snuggle, talk, instead of dealing with the moutains of work they always would have. How long would it take to find the proper balance between business and pleasure? He did not mind, he was ready to try and make this work. “You know I always had a weak spot for glass, mon ange.” He answered her first question, on a voice of softness, one adressed to Koharu. “I still need to hear more.” Nakajima then added, this time naturally more severe and exigeant, eyes on the real state agent. The heir then was attentive to the specifications they were giving, all the previous penthouses happened to be good but “not enough”. Nodding silently, his features were showing the usual rigid concentration while looking around. But as soon as she turned around again, to come and tug his sleeve, it was easy to see the endearment through his eyes. “I like the open space yes, I like the luminosity, I like the arragement of it.” He spoke, one of his hands traveling from his pocket to hold hers, his eyes still on her. “One bedroom for us, two for our offices, that would be perfect yes.” With one step, he walked closer to her body, still holding her hand. "There is no room for Nami then I guess I’ll have to turn on the lights on and open the doors by myself though.” He added on an amused tone as it was self deprecating humor - even if well, it was true that it would be the first time for the heir to live without Nami. “Let’s go see the rooms?” The spoke on a rethorical way, leading Koharu towards the first and biggest one, the real estate agent following them.
She knew--if there was anything that put the Nakajima Mansion apart from the others, it would be the amount of glass there was. Even Yuto’s bedroom had a glass wall, and so it was quite easy for the heiress to figure out that the male had a penchant for such detail. She allowed him to do more listening, for she wasn’t really anymore; from the dark hardwood to the monotonous scheme, to the big spaces she could arrange (she had a thing for interior designing), to say she was excited would be an understatement. Yuto did the listening, and when he had no more comments, his attention back to her, she only smiled at him. “Well, we can always have a room added, the place is simply big enough for another bedroom if you want to have Nami around. Nana would stay with my parents, and probably just come by if we want her or need her help,” she nodded, not even caring that the real estate agent was around to see and hear the two of them talking like newly-weds. They had always acted that way, after all; their speech softer, their gestures kinder, their smiles sweeter--years after, nothing has changed between the two, except that their affections have definitely grown and matured into something more profound than just high school infatuation. “Or instead, we can check how big the rooms are, and we can just use the biggest one as a joint office, I’m sure that’ll work.” She nodded, arms tangling with one of his as they walked. “This is fun.”
