Ps: what body piercings should i get?
Got me some new undies ❤️
there’s no place like a home by the sea
Numbness will lessen with time... probably... hopefully... ovo;;;
Oh for sure! Some numbness may go away, some may not. Its not a big price to pay, considering what i had before the surgery haha
Free nipple grafts is when you sever the nipple from the stalk and just plast it on the chest, rather than keeping an intact stalk. The main difference is that you have more freedom for nipple-placement with a free nipple graft, but you lose sensation to a much greater degree.
Ohh yes, thats what they did haha. On that note I am also very numb (about half my chest actually)
SNEK. Also is that with free nipple grafts?
Yeah hes so pretty!! And free nipple grafts? Im not sure what you mean haha

8 days post-op. Sept.13th 2018.
Excuse my lazy posture but i am super tired today and my stomach is upset so i didnt want to try to change positions... Heres the first (nearly) bandage free pic of my chest so far. Im super happy with how things are looking and i pray that i continue to heal well ❤️
Oh, neat. I do not think that usually is used postoperatively here, though that is probably just a different countries-thing. :v How long did they say you are supposed to take Celebrex for? (This is just me being curious. :'D) Some of the side effects can include sleeplessness and depression, so you will hopefully feel better in those regards when you are done taking it (obviously you should keep taking it for as long as you were told to, though). Hopefully you will feel better overall soon! o/
I was put on celebrex for 6 days! It actually makes me sorta drowzy so i get lots of sleep, and i dont really find it very depressive.. maybe thats a long term side effect. Ps: it wasnt specifically celebrex brand they put me on, it was some other celecoxib. Same stuff though.
Ah, I see. Did they give you a number to call if you have any questions or something? If you feel comfortable answering; which anti-inflammatory drugs did they give you? Either way, paracetamol is generally a safe option (unless you have liver-issues), and while I am not sure about the legislations over there, I would think that any potential interactions with other medications has to be listed in the information booklet/whatever, so you can check if anything you are taking would be an issue.
I have two follow-up appointment set up over email. And they put me on celebrex! Nothing im taking counteracts though, so its ok 👌🏻
Why is your skin so red under/around the wrappings?
Thats the antiseptic that was used during the surgery. It looks red on camera but its more of a pink tone in person :)
5 days post-op. Amazing!! ❤️❤️ really cant wait to have these bandages and gauze off though. Im super swollen, sore and itchy and whats underneath the wrap still looks super icky and i dont wanna make people look at that.
Ps. the left side of my chest is completely numb. Feels fucked. It may take a week or so longer to recover and start up commissions again. Hang in there guys ❤️ ill do them asap.
Did they not give you instructions on pain killers to take and stuff after your surgery??
They did! However the painkillers are a strong opiate and they make me extremely uncomfortable. And itchy. Im not a huge fan of mixing meds either so i would rather tough out some pain than have panic attacks over my meds. I am taking the anti-inflammatory meds and stuff they told me i need to take, but the painkillers were optional.
