This wasn’t the first time they had an encounter, their first meeting being an interview on Music Bank. During the short amount of time before the show they never had the adequate chance to strike up a conversation, only exchanging the small gaze of hey we should talk some time. And that time would be sooner than they expected.
Schedules were hard to maneuver around, especially since it often looked fishy for a male and female idol to be alone together, especially when the both of them weren’t under the same company. Taking advantage of the lucky free time after yet again another music show she crept her way through the halls, making her way to a certain area that she assumed N.Flying was located at.
His backside was easy to recognize, and once her assumptions proved to be correct she tapped against his shoulder hoping to catch his attention. “Boo!” Once gathering his attention she had a wide smile on her face, both of her hands frantically waving around. “Thought you saw the last of me, huh?” Their was a hint of humour in her voice, and for a few moments they just went back-and-fourth talking about whatever came to mind. I just wanna look good for you. “What do you mean, look good for me? Ah, are you saying this because you got a little sweaty?” She raised her hand up to point at some of the fluorescent lights above them, hoping he wouldn’t feel so bad about something so natural. “You look fine! Everyone’s appearance ends up a little messy after performances anyway.”
Packing his things to go in the room whose door had been wide open because of the incoming traffic of fashion coordinators and managers of nflying, Kwangjin had been in the middle of zipping up his precious bass guitar, securing it in the bags confinements. It was a long day of work and while he would typicalyl head straight home for possibly even more practice, he knew he had plans to meet up with a fellow rookie.
Poor Nayeon didn’t even realize he had been making a move on her during their random glances back stage. When their eyes met, Kwangjin would raises his brows, mouthing simple things only for Nayeon to reply with an eager smile. Of course he was looking for friends, but there was no denying she was undeniably cute! Little did she know, she was about to walk into a giant grease fest, complimentary of Kwangjin himself.
The tap to his shoulder causes him to turn around, greeting her instantly with a warm smile and reaching up to try and dab at sweat forming at his hairline. “I was hoping not! Getting stood up was not on my agenda today” Her aura is so bright and bubbly, and Kwangjin is trying to match it with an affable expression, always easy to approach from far away due to his friendly exterior. “It’s true but it doesn’t seem to be for all people! I mean look at you. Your performance was just a little while ago, and you still manage to look absolutely adorable. How is that even possible.”
