Got in the mood to write a hurt no comfort fic at 8 in the morning, finished it in 4 hours, spent the rest of the day drawing this to go along with it

I've had a lot of different scenes playing out in my head for years, it's only just now that I've actually written one down. This specific scenario is something what came to me just now though. Literally the second I woke up I had one single sentence bouncing around in my head and I needed to write the idea down. Then I just didn't stop writing.

i understand (on paper) why companies are anti-piracy but its funny when random individuals are also strongly anti-piracy. like how does it negatively affect your life if someone you know downloads a cracked torrent of sims 4. you dont work for EA. EA isnt gonna pay you for this. you lose nothing. its fine. chill out.

I finished groove and overall I really liked it! Most of the minigames were good and interesting, they didn't feel too same-y, or too simple (looking at you, megamix). And in terms of the soundtrack... what a banger. Memorable music, and actual songs with lyrics every now and then (side-eyeing megamix so hard right now). I really appreciate that there were songs in different languages! I especially love the ones for spirit slicer and soda hop 2, those were great.

And the minigames were so silly. Just what I wanted. I love it when games get silly and weird

So I don't have a lot of complaints. I do wish more of the remixes were themed, it helped each have their own identity in the games before, and in this one I wouldn't be able to tell most of the remixes apart. I only remember one off the top of my head. But the other minigames were so solid I don't really mind that much. It would be very difficult to top the remixes in fever because those were so close to perfect

Again, I really liked it. There's definitely some recency bias, but I'm pretty sure groove will be my second favourite of the rhythm heaven games. Amazing game! I can definitely see myself going back to play it every now and then like I've done with fever over the years. I still can't believe we got another entry in the series, I genuinely thought there never would be any more of these games. So I'm happy :'D
