i thought i wouldn’t come back to talk about voltron again for like a long time but i just remembered that a few weeks ago my friend showed me a tweet of shiro’s voice actor in my country saying he didn’t know his character was gay until the very last second of the show and he thought that he had a thing with allura, this just shows how the whole shiro being gay thing was poorly written

Diamonds in the Sky?

So I have a feeling that these strange, icy diamond things are going to be a major plot driver. It’s hard for me to say if this is Elsa’s magic though. The colours are off - Elsa’s neutral ice magic is either white or light blue. These diamonds kind of remind me of the auroras, if I’m being honest. It might be Elsa’s magic, though, but as something she doesn’t exactly have control over, like perhaps a prophecy or a warning.

If you look closely at the centres of the diamonds, they all have one of four symbols on them.

This one is a standard diamond pattern, and reminds me of a lot of Elsa’s ice designs from the past.

This one looks like a teardrop or a water drop falling onto a smaller circle.

This one looks like the sun either setting or rising above the horizon.

And this one kind of reminds me of the crocus symbol of Arendelle.

So my question is: why? What do these symbols mean, if they mean anything at all? Why are these diamonds forming en-mass around the castle? Why does Anna seem freaked out by them? Are they foretelling something? Is something up with Elsa’s magic, and the search for an answer is what sends them on their journey? Either way, they show up in the new snowflake design in the teaser poster:

Which tells me that they have something to do with Elsa’s magic. And they likely are important.
