Subscribing, and encouraging as many people to also subscribe is the best way to support Tumblr. If you do it on the web we pay less to Apple/Google. Out of the 11.5M monthly active users of Tumblr, only about 27k have subscribed, or about 0.2%. If that were 10 or 20% we could run the site forever.

Tumblr seems to be hiding a lot of non-explicit blogs lately. There is an appeals process (described here: https://help.tumblr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011657153-Reviewing-and-appealing-content-flagged-as-adult) that apparently actually works sometimes. The process, according to that help page, is:

If your blog was incorrectly flagged as “explicit,” or if you have since removed the adult content, you can file an appeal at http://tumblr.com/support by following these steps:

In "What's going on?" select "Blog incorrectly marked as explicit."

In the box, provide a quick explanation of why you think your blog should be unflagged so we know what to look for.

In "Relevant blog," select the blog we should be looking at.

Confirm your email address is the one you used to register your account. This will also be the email address that we'll use if we need to contact you
