Military Ranking System in Motherland: Fort Salem - a MFSRI breakdown

In Motherland, the Military is the central focus. So, it only makes sense that we would want to know everything we can about the American and International military systems. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough to make major progress at the international level yet (beyond the Hague). Similarly, we know very little about the structure of War College at Fort Salem, though there have been numerous hand-waving conjectures made because we just neeeed to know more (we’re all waiting on the textbooks still, Eliot). However, one area we have numerous contextual clues for is the Ranking system within the American Army. And boy…. They did not make it easy. 

Below is the breakdown of what we know thus far about the Ranking system within the American Army for MFS. We’ll show you what each rank looks like on the uniform and provide the contextual evidence for when we learn about each one followed by remaining questions and possibilities for interpretation. Disclaimer: This is what we found and it doesn’t really make sense to us as a system, but when we have more info we’ll come back and review/edit accordingly or have an updated post next season.
