As much as I love seeing Pierre Prick lose, nothing breaks my heart more than to see Jagmeet Singh defeated. As a grandchild and great-niece of NDP politicians & a union member, this is a stab at everything I stand for. There will be still expensive groceries, no track record of keeping climate action, our dental care & pharmacare will be at the mercy of the Liberals whim; no rent control. So congrats Canadians, whoever voted the most boring and pathetic rich person in Canada to be prime minister, I hope you choke on your selfishness.

I posted this over two years ago, and I still stand by what I said. I keep seeing the boomers all over Canada who voted Carney in, in shock and utter disbelief; because apparently these ‘Liberal’ voters are environmentalists and are really disappointed in Carney’s disastrous policies. Whatever. It’s basically ‘I didn’t know that leopards would eat my face’ group of voters. A banker will always be a banker. Never will have your best interests in mind. “Well, we voted Carney in to avoid P.P., because we think that the NDP were disingenuous and probably would cost us more money”. No, you dumbass, you voted for basically Conservative lite. The Liberals were always doing this! Look at both Trudeaus; always about them and whoever their rich friends are. Not the average person, not First Nations, ESPECIALLY First Nations. Carney has a lot to answer for in the last two days of Northern Ontario First Nations and the smoke that’s literally making me sick right now. So, a big Fuck you, Carney. Fuck you, Ford. Fuck you, Smith. And last, but not least, Fuck you, Pierre Prick. When the time comes, all of you would definitely kill each other in the bunkers, because you don’t know a damn thing about community.

While 40 departments will collectively spend $23 billion more next year, another 85 departments will spend $31 billion less in 2026-27.

The federal government has tabled details of how it plans to cut billions of dollars from programs that support science, tourism, harbour improvements, journalism, foreign aid, and even the development of a Canadian-made lunar rover module. The cuts are detailed in hundreds of pages of departmental plans tabled in the House of Commons last Friday as MPs were preparing to return to their ridings for March break week. The Department of Canadian Heritage will make reductions in the Canada Cultural Space Fund, Canada Media Fund, Canada Periodical Fund and Local Journalism, realizing savings of $76 million by 2028-29. Meanwhile, the CBC will get $192 million less next year, a seven per cent spending cut. Library and Archives Canada will cut its spending by nearly $50 million over the next three years, partly by ending the Documentary Heritage Communities Program and reducing Access to Information and Privacy functions.

I'm in Toronto. I have a ton of clothes I'm trying to get rid of, do you or your followers know of clothing donation places that won't just give things to Value Village? I'd really appreciate if the clothing could go to a trans or new to Canada organization.

New Circles Community Services provides free clothing to newcomers as well as anyone low income and in need

I did my student placement there in college, the clothing program is set up like the thrift store so people can shop and select their own clothes with dignity, and then take their selections for free
