charities/non-profit organizations
farmers markets
family-owned stores
actual regular people
craft shows
theft from the above ruins peoples lives/businesses and thatâs not what weâre trying to do. But by all means, rob those billionaire corporations blind
You know what the best thing about lifting is? IÂ can finally dress and look the way I want to be seen. I have always been fairly poor and was never really able to wear clothing which is my style, since I could never afford to buy a whole new wardrobe. I would always have to wear things i never really liked simply because I had nothing else to wear. Yesterday I sorted through my clothing and got rid of all the stuff which isnt me, and it was the best feeling ever. Also being able to get high end makeup and everything will be amazing since I was never really able to get into makeup previously.
Same! My style has changed after lifting and I love it
Idk about you guys
But I wish people would do reviews on the stuff they lift. Were the Naked Palettes worth it? Did the new Victoriaâs Secret panties leave a rash or were they the softest pair youâve ever worn? What in the hell did you use those Macaron thingies for? I want to know if the lift was worth breaking the law, if the makeup got a spotlight in your collection, if the necklace made you feel confident. God, I wish lifters did reviews on their hauls. Message me (anon or nah, whatever youâre comfortable with) and tell me if you agree/or would like me to do reviews. I feel like this is important for some reason I donât know.
Yes. Everything you lift burns your skin and infects your face, duh.
Liftblr Scavenger Hunt
I had an idea while shaving. What if we did a monthly scavenger hunt. Once a month Iâll make up a list of things to lift. At the end of the month the person with the most stuff lifted wins (maybe a prize idk). Thoughts???
Thatd be interesting lmao turning lifting into a sport kinda thing XD
cute idea!
I love this idea to be honest!
But I think you should also make sure remind people to still be careful and have self control, not to get too competitive bc that might get some caught.. I feel like you need gooood self control to not try to get the entire list in one go (which could be hella dangerous) and there could be new people who overreachâŚ
Iâm sorry, pls forgive me I had to say it. Iâm not tryna be a downer just realistic! I want us all safe đ
No for sure. I think Iâll set it up so there are some items or different levels of experience and spread it out between stores. And def have a disclaimer to be careful.
Its a good way for smaller blogs to get noticed as well!!
Do you use a hook when you lift? And if so, does it ever get stuck??
hell yeah i do. i use both. the stores i lift from that use hook tags tend to be H&M and A&F. and i wouldnt say stuck. like sometimes it gets in there and the tag itself doesnt come off but you can always get the hook out. the way to get the tag off is just put the hook back in, changing the angle. DONT try to force it with the hook still in there, just take it out try again. forcing it doesnt work. it doesnt damage anything or get it stuck in my experience, it just doesnt work and frustrates you to hell.
also protip: if you have butterfingers like me be VERY careful when you hook detag. because the hook is pretty small itâs easy to slip out of your hands if youre not careful. if you drop the hook itll go CLING CLING on the floor and make a ruckus and you dont want that. and if it does you better pray no SA is around. but yeah if you DO have butterfingers like me, then always hook detag while sitting on the little bench they have in changing rooms. that way if it does fall out, itll most likely fall into your lap instead
can some1 explain the rubber band method to me iâm still kinda new here
u shoot the rubber band at all SA, rob the store and run out thereÂ
Here's a lifting tip for hot topic (even though I don't lift & would never in a million years, this is for all y'all lifters out there) Take TWO of the item you want (if its clothes) into the dressing room, hiding one of the items from view of the cashier as you go in. (the cashiers there ask you if your getting anything, and you could easily say no, but do the de-tagging on the other item). That way the annoying cashiers wont suspect.
^^^ tip from anon
This works unless your Hot Topic is a high shrink (high theft) location in which case they will have the door locked so you cannot just slip inside. Check to see if the door to the dressing room is locked before you try this. Opt for on the floor concealment - there are lots of dark blindspots inside the store. Then go to the fitting room to try on a top which you have no interest in purchasing or lifting. Once inside detag everything. Give the shirt back to the SA if they are hovering outside the door, otherwise leave it inside for the SA to see the next time someone wants to try on clothing.
How I Stole My Vacuum
Listen up ladies! Stealing large things like vacuums, televisions, etc. is way easier than you think! Sears is the place to go! Make sure you have bags from the store and a fake/old receipt. Since there are multiple departments with multiple checkout counters everyone thinks when you leave you paid for it at a different register.
Go for your big item first. Take a while looking at them, ask the store clerk which would be the best buy and which has the best ratings. Once they have answered all your questions put it in your cart and continue âshoppingâ in another department.
This is where your other bags will come into play. Pick up a few items, take them to your blind spot, and bag them. Make sure ALL sensors are removed. Put your old receipt in your hand and go to yet another department and exit the store.
Donât look suspicious. If it helps, call a friend and talk to them on the phone as youâre lifting/leaving (This always helps me when Iâm feeling anxious)
Hope this helps! Happy lifting! Feel free to message me with any questions or comments :-)
Your answer about American apparel tags is wrong. Yes there are RFID's in the price tags but they do not set off alarms. Only the pencil tags set off alarms.
The RFIDs DO set off alarms. Please do not spread this information, this could cause someone to get caught.
I found this on YouTube. I hope itâs helpful. Enjoy my darlings. XOXO
So if you and Wolf are both minors how do you hide stuff from your parents? I'm having trouble with this cause they know we don't have money and it looks really suspicious
Wolf lives with Mom so she has to be really careful. She used to hide shit from her, but our youngest sister (shes like 4ish and hella nosy) would find the stuff and draw attention to it and mom would start questioning it. Now she just pretends she bought it on a field trip, or that a friend gave it to her. If either of those just arenât believable then I keep the stuff until we can bring it to her.
I live with my dad so I donât have to hide shit. He was a lifter (Though they called it roguing in his little group of friends) back in what Iâd call the golden years. (cameras were rare, tagging had just started entering the mainstream so pretty much nothing was tagged except alcohol) I was in the store once and he was out in the parking lot and when I got back out he called me out on my sloppy conceal and basically said he doesnât mind at all as long as I donât get caught like a complete amateur. The only rule he has is that I can only take a bag or something if itâs going to be an out of town trip, if Iâm anywhere in town then Iâm limited to on-person concealment.
Dude roguing sounds hella cool and it sounds nothing like lifting. We should be âroguersâ now.
They like it cause rogue could mean anywhere from scoundrel to someone who is playfully mischievous to an actual thief. They thought it had a Robin Hood-esk vibe to it so thatâs what they went with.
i could read through lifting blogs all day omg weâre like a little family of criminals
girl HOW did you lift those bags
walk in, find bags, check for tags, find one without tags, flip the price tag inwards so no one can see it. pick up a shirt to pretend to try on in the changing room while u rip off the tag/ deflate the air bag inside and put own wallet and phone inside. say shirt doesnât fit, thank them, walk out with brand new purse. boom. iâve done this like 4/5 times.

*Scrolls down for 5 minutes trying to find anything pertaining to lifting*
Seriously you guys have main blogs for a reason
I love when security sticker things are labeled as security device like thx for warning me fam
Attention all shoplifters! I went to a mall for the first time and noticed the stores didnât have sensors so I thought I could just take a bunch of stuff without worrying about tags. But a girl walked in and an alarm went off. I was confused and looked around and noticed that there are sensors on the ceiling that I never would have known about if it wasnât for that girl. Pure luck.
