We finished up our journey with an awesome 5-1 win over Italy. So proud of this team and how much we have grown over the past two weeks. We arrived as individuals and are leaving as a team. I have gained 17 new BFFs and while I am sure I will be happy to be back in NYC, I am going to ring every moment out of the next two days. To some hockey is all about the wins, goals and stats - for me it is all about the people! So blessed and lucky to have landed on this amazing team of fabulous women! Fueling up on a little Italian before we take their people down tomorrow :-)

Visiting the little town of Mura was like stepping back in time. A great way to end the afternoon.

Dear hockey gods - we would like 1 bounce please 🙏🏻. Tonight for the first time we were the better team - we controlled the game and the pace but alas we had a momentary lapse and lost by a goal 1-0. Frustrated and sad but happy with the way we played. I also learned that when being the backup - you need to remove all empty containers from my hands or I will nervously crunch them.

A tough 3-1 loss to Spain yesterday knocked us out from going for a medal. Had some amazing saves and we played hard just wasn’t our day. 😝

What a day - a huge 3-2 win over Wales and squeaking into the crossovers through a intense tiebreaker calculation. It was 93 on the turf and a defensive crush against us in the end but my defense held strong and we won. So proud of the teamwork, grit and heart we showed out there today! These ladies are amazing!!!!!
