The first fish ever on my new baitcaster setup! It was freezing and I didnt want to kill the fish so I kept it in the net and then immediately released it after the I took the picture.

My second fish on my new baitcaster setup!
I had a crazy day at work and decided to hit the water on my way home for a little bit. I caught these three that were picture worthy and two smaller 6" rainbows I didn’t take pictures of. Fishing has always been a good stress relief for me.
Homemade lure got this bad boy at Mantua, Utah.
Made a slight modification to my fly rod holder for my bike. I dont like removing the reel unless I have to so I made a notch to where I can keep the reel on but still screw on the cap to keep everything secure. I think I might make a couple of these for the SUV’s now so we dont have to worry about them breaking while carrying them.
One of the biggest reasons I love fly fishing so much is the ability to make something by hand presented to a fish and have the fish take it. I wanted to bring that same aspect to Lure fishing so I messed around with a kitchen utensil last night and came up with these lures and caught these fish with them. Set 1 of 2

My bike setup to carry my fly rod and chest pack. I want to start biking the local trails to some of the streas and rivers to do some fishing and get some exercise!
I tied up a bunch of fall/winter patterns the other day and got to test most of them out with success!
I finally found a use for the piece of oak I had laying around. I didnt want to throw it away because it is so unique so it is now my tool holder for my fly tying bench.

A quick trip to Pinevew Reservoir to catch some perch!
Nicole caught this channel cat on a spoon at Roy/Meadow Creek Pond.
