STILLHERE Forth Mission

Good day, my fellow operatives.

It is time for our Forth Mission. Remember, the Third one is still not over yet, but this one right here, is an emergency mission.

I´m sure you already know about the Mass Mailing Day, if not, let me explain it to you:

Anyway, I knew about this ever since they started to talk about it on the Facebook group, but I was investigating how can I send a mail if I´m not from the USA. Now that I´m sure I will send it, I started to think about many fans who will not send their notes because of different reasons like:

They don´t know how to send a national/international mailing (I feel that one).

It might be expensive.

Simple laziness (it´s totally aceptable).

 So I want to help those people who can´t send the letters, because we´re all dying for a GKND series. So here´s the deal:

 Why don´t you send me the letter via e-mail, Facebook, or any other way you can think about? I will be in charge of printing it or copy it by hand, and send them all together inside on a big package.

 I´ll just ask you for some sooper tiny baby miiiiini requisites when you send it to me:

Put your names on it (Duh!) ___ (lastnames are optional, but I prefer not to, b/c of the security. I don´t know, I´ve always been a paranoid parrot with internet security, and I want your satey).

Tell where you come from (USA, Mexico, France, Denmark, Japan, etc, etc, etc). (This calls the attention of CN b/c they see how international this proyect is).

A Picture of you holding a note that says "Stop: the G:KND... It doesn´t has to be something huge, or anything, just big enough so you can read what it says... What?... Why are you asking?... Weeeeeeeell, Christina Miller (CN´s CEO and the one we´re gonna send the letter to), could think this package is just one fan making a lot of letters and giving credit to imaginary people to make it seem like more fans, so she can count all of us as just one fan. So, with your photograph and my explanation, she´ll be sure we´re different people... Oh! and the "Stop the G:KND note thing is so she knows it´s real people in favor of the GKND series, and not random images from Google or friends.

 Don´t worry, I won´t publish your photos ANYWHERE unless you want me to. So you can give me the most whatever and no-good-quality photos as you please ;)

 Now, another important thing: If one of this requisites stops you from sending me the letter, don´t worry and send it to me anyways. The point is not to follow this rules, but to be as many as we can. I´ll inform any news!!!

   Finally, remember this is for June 30th

But I would like to have your letter maaaaaay before that date.

So go on! and write the letter! You won´t have the oportunity to write for free to CN again ;)

June 30th Mass Mailing Day!

If you´re wondering what does the KND Fandom is up to, here it is:

Do you recognize this image? NO?! Well, this was posted on the Codename: Kids Next Door group on Facebook by Sabrina Danielle Reed on June 2nd. And it also came with her message saying:

Hello everyone!!! So Trevor (creator of the KND petition) had a grand idea to create Mass Mailing Day. On June 30th, we all would start sending physical mail to CN, persuading them of how badly we want the G:KND Now, I found an addresse that we could send these letters to:... 1050 Techwood Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 I'll post directions on a separate post of how to set up your letter. What do you say guys?

  The original one had 2 adresses, if you insist to know the other one, here it is: 300 N 3rd St, Burbank, CA 91502

But there was a comment by Savannah who helped us with very useful information, she had been in a similar situation before. And she was the reason why I didn´t add the other adress:

I was once one of the admins in charge of the Sym-Bionic Titan movement. So, I kinda know how these things work...

The Atlanta address is their headquarters. Sending anything to Burbank will be a waste.

Atlanta is where the CEO and president oprates at. All letters should be addressed with ATTN to Christina Miller. You know, the COO. When you address the letter with her name specifically, it will go straight to the president's office.

When me and my buddies over at the Sym-Bionic Titan page did our second mail day, we got a DIRECT RESPONSE from Stuart Snyder himself (the previous COO of CN).

It´s time for our next mission. Remember, we have to keep fighting for our last missions:

Now, this third mission is about a combination between this two:

Let´s think for a momento in CN´s perspective, What´s the thing Cartoon Network is looking for?

Well, the channel is made for kids, and the target is kids 6-12.

Also is still a company and is trying to win money.

We have to remember, we have an advantage: Kids are now into apps and internet rather tan tv and cartoons had just passed a dark age of not having anything good (2007-2013… let´s say). As I´ve analyzed the new CEO, she´s looking for great new ideas and reboot of classic shows.

So, in my opinión, this third mission, might be the most important one of all:

Spread the Word…

to the Children.

Yes, I know, it might not be the easiest thing for many of us. We´re older than 12 years old, and some of us don´t know any kids at all, but this is what CN is looking for. PPG still has a lot of kids fans, the MAGIC SCHOOL BUS (which is also having a reboot) is really popular today on netflix [that´s why it´s having it´s reboot], and even ducktales is having a similar situation. So why don´t we give CN what they want? Kids themselves wanting the GKND spin off.

Kids are still the same, time is the different one. Right now, children are looking for good cartoons, they´ve said they´re tired of the old bad shows they lived and are happy with today´s phineas and ferb, gravity falls, Steven universe, star vs the forces of evil.

So, if we all show this cartoon (that obviously will blow any kid´s mind), and if we explain them the GKND posible spin off, they will probably tell their friends and will do fanarts, or ask CN itself.

If you have cousins, GO AHEAD!

If you are a babysitter GO AHEAD!

If you work in a children place (like a themed park, or something) GO AHEAD!

If you don´t know ANY kid, look for web pages kids usually go, like club penguin, Disney channel fórums, KIDS REACT (or other YouTube pages kids visit), and leave a one page KND comic, or even talk about the GKND thing! A child might already know about KND, or maybe it´s interested about the show after watching the tráiler or Reading the comic (if you´re posting the comic, don´t forget to clarify it´s based on the cartoon show).

Another thing, about the CN winning money point, we can actually win for this: if we buy for KND merchandise (trade cards, toys, episodes on itunes, ZERO DVD, etc). We can do something HUGE. So it´s more like a win-win thing. I´m not asking you to buy anything (that´s why this is not a mission) but is still one of the two most important points to consider. How to Really Get CN’s Atention

Okay guys, let me start off by saying that the petition that was started has amazed me with how quickly it has gotten support. I thought it would be impressive if it reached 5k, but now, only about three days in, it has almost 10k.

That is amazing.

But it’s just the start.

Though distributors like Cartoon Network and its parent company, Turner Broadcasting, might notice all those signatures, the signatures they care about are the ones on checks. No matter what media we’re talking about, the best way consumers can vote on what they want to see is with their dollars. Family Guy was brought back due to the influx of DVD sales after its cancellation, and that shows awful.

So where do we vote with our dollars?

Now in our age of digital distribution, you can buy any episode or season of KND on iTunes for a decent price. Episodes are $2 each and a season runs at $20. Imagine if everyone who has signed this petition was to buy just one episode, just one. That’s nearly $20,000 in sales. And if everyone bout a season? Well, I’m sure you can do the math.

Even if nothing comes of this and CN still doesn’t take up a great oppurtunity, at least you still have an episode or season of your favorite show (Unlike the zero return risk factor of crowdfunding) So maybe after you finish signing that petition, why not head over to iTunes and download your favorite episode of Codename: Kids Next Door.

Talking about KND in RAU

Attention KND Operatives, this is an anouncement of something AMAZING that will happen to let more people know about GKND:

The sad part is that it will be in spanish (my first language) but even if you don´t speak spanish, this new is still amazing!:

RAU (Radio Anime Universe) is a web page made in Mexico (sorry it´s in spanish) that is mostly a radio station for Otakus. You can hear music of anime openings, endings or japanesse bands. They also show news about conventions in Mexico and they have some radio shows at certain hours. (Basically a radio in spanish for Otakus). http://radioanimeunivers.net/ What does it has to do with KND?

A friend (and amazing writer) Nora Cayetano has a show there every Monday and Friday called “Nora y sus Cayetonadas” at 21:00 hrs from the Monterrey, NL, Mexico Schedule. I told her about GKND and everything we´re doing to make it happen and she invited me to talk about it in her show to help Spread the Word with her audience.

So Today FRIDAY at 9:00 pm (Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Schedule) You´ll hear me, my friend Nora and my other friend (also great writter) Yolanda, talking about GKND and explaining what´s going on.

We have to keep moving if we want to see GKND!

So, let´s recap:

On the first mission, we asked to spread the Word about the STILLHERE movement. Also we signed [or already signed but spread the Word about it] the petition (which right now we have 22,000 signatures), and we sended either letters of feedback messages asking GKND:

On the second mission, we were supposed to send messages to the smashbros (YouTube page for Kids React and Teens React) asking for either KIDS REACT to Codename: Kids Next Door, or TEENS REACT to Stop the G:KND tráiler. This is really important b/c it´s a huge open door of information to those outside the fandom who loved KND and want them back, also to let kids know about the show and that would totally call CN´s attention and it has like 11billion% more chance of making the reboot:

Now, aside of that, we´ve been creative and have done a lot to make this a big thing with our own ideas. Even if some fans are not aware of the STILLHERE cause, they´ve helped a lot by doing amazing GKND fanarts and fanfics. There was a fan in the KND blog who promoted GKND with flyers on a comic con: http://kndfanforum.freeforums.net/thread/837/mcm-comic-con-ideas , And there has been a lot of fan videos asking for GKND (a really notably and well done one right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Re-TblM4lQ ). My extra participation aside from this missions have been talking about this on a radio show: http://kndstillhere.tumblr.com/post/119584858769/talking-about-knd-in-rau   , And creating a spanish franchise of the oficial fórum (is not completley done yet. I´m wating for the original fórum administrator´s approval)… But the ones that I love the most is your initiative, guys. You´ve helped me with your ideas on what we can do, for example, one of you (I don´t remember who, sorry) sended me a message asking me for an “invasión” Day to the CN feedback messages.

With all this taking in count, I think we´ve done an amazing work at rising the fandom once again. I will never say the fandom was death before the Stop the GKND tráiler, that never happened, but sure it was loosing hopes about any posible reboot and it wasn´t as active as today. So I want to really thank each of you, members and non-members of STILLHERE for being such loyal fans! and we have to keep moving and fighting for our show!

Right now, I will post the next mission, (this was supposed to be it), but I really needed to thank you, ´cause you´ve been amazing!

STILLHERE Second Mission!

Kids Next Door Operatives, now that we´ve reached the 15,000 I think it´s time for our next mission:

I´ve found this comment on Facebook and I think this is an AMAZING idea! Kids React is one of the most popular shows on youtube, so it can help us on:

Spread the word of KND to other kids (not only the ones from the show, but also young viewers).

Cartoon Netowrk can see how popular this show would be now.

It would be awsome to see their reactions, ain´t it?

Now do I really have to explain the teens react to GKND announcement?

The petition will be 11 billion times faster to fill.

More people who already know KND will know about this.

This won´t become just a fandom revolution, but a discussion with people outside the fandom.

STILLHERE FIRST STEP

Attention KND operatives, we have to keep moving! I know numbuh 37 (me) owe a commission to 5 of you, but I promise I´ll do them as soon as posible. Maybe tomorrow…

Anyway, what´s the next step? Well, we have to do the most obvious thing: Spread the Word.

This FIRST MISSION is divided in 3 parts:

Talk to some KND fan about this stillhere proyect and invite them, if they don´t have tumblr, my deviantart is http://yayi3.deviantart.com now if they also don´t have a deviantart account, my e-mail is [email protected]

Another thing we have to do is fill the signs left in the petition (I know, I know, they are practically signing itselves) but we have to remember just fans know about this. There are people outside the fandom… you know, mortals… who also love this show. If you tell a friend who used to watch KND and loves it, but is not part of the fandom, you send him/her the link and ask them to sign it. Or maybe your siblings, parents, cousins, anyone you can think of. MAKING GKND HAPPEN

Hey, I´m sure you guys know I´ve been wanting a KND reboot and now´s our chance. You may be wondering: Why is it our chance now?

Well, CN has a new CEO and she´s taking good desitions.

There will be a reboots on CN, such as: Courage the Cowardly dog and PPG.

Mr Warburton wants GKND

We know there´s still story left

The fandom has just rised and we are more than we thought.

They´re accepting stories like KND (funny simple animation [not like generator rex or justice leage or teen titans with complex drawings] with serious stories, but funny as well, like steven universe, adventure time, gravity falls, over the garden wall, etc).

Now you may be wondering: Why does KND has to come back?

Numbuh 3 CURSED for this!

There´s a big story we´ll just know when the show comes back

We need to know what happened to numbuh 1 and the rest of the characters.

The crew want to do this.

The technology on animation has grown a hell lot and just imagine the VISUALS of GKND now! Look at cartoons this days and make a comparation, your mind will blow!

Now, I´ve seen some petitions here and there AND THAT´S FREAKING AMAZING!!! but the question is: Ok, I signed the petition, what do I do now?

Keep the fandom ALIVE and let Catoon Network know WE´RE STILL HERE!

I have a BAZILLION ideas of what we can do now! Right now, I´m asking for recuits to participate on this movement I´m calling STILLHERE. Just send me an ask message (no annons, please) saying who you are, that you want GKND back and why, and your KND commission (´cause I´ll do a drawing for you just for joining).

If you do this, I´ll notificate you by personal messages any news or missions to do. I´ll reward you after each new accomplishment by giving you a free commission (you can look for the tag “my art” if you want to know my art skills :P). We´ll send letters to CN, make fanarts, spread the word, MAKE THIS GROW! I´ll open a deviantart group, and even a facebook group if you want to.
