owo/  So.. there’s this video They react to Hatari at 11:20, and the first reaction is “oh geez, woah” My favourite reactions consist of: “Got our number 10 spot.. !” -11:29 “So it’s game of thrones... inspired.” -11:46 “So that was Icelandic group Hatari who describe themselves as an award-winning anti-capitalist bdsm techno-dystopian performance art collective.” “-laughing” Okay-- certainly.. a long title” -12:08 At 14:30 they talk about how Hatari waved the Palestinian flag: “So there was some controversy this year when the Icelandic group Hatari was elected to represent the country they said that they vowed to raise hell about the issues between Israel and Palestine. When they were eliminated they waved the Palestinian flag” + “So in your opinion do you think politics should be kept to the way-side or is this the right place to bring up political issues?” A lot of them said keep it out and a lot of them said that once you have a platform and you believe in something strongly, you should be allowed to express and talk about your beliefs - I agree with both sides, and I’m glad to see people actually understand why they might’ve done it, it’s nice to see some support for Hatari on a public platform !
