What if the gender of the person he copies a quirk from determines what gender he feels?  For example, Monoma copies the quirk of more girls that day? shes a girl. more boy quirks? a boy. doesn’t copy any quirks for a while or copies a ton in a short period? neither or both.

Tetsu both loves and hates Kiri. He’s constantly referred to as some sort of discount Kirishima and he hates it because they’re not the same person but he can’t hate Kiri for it because he didn’t do anything wrong and is always nice to him, so any hate he has for kiri is deemed undeserved, but that doesn’t mean it’ll just go away. People always expect him to do or say something, to respond a certain way to situations, because “it’s what Kirishima would do, why wouldn’t you?” People expect him to be able to do things because “Kirishima can do it” but he’s not Kirishima and he can’t do those things because his quirk doesn’t work like that. On bad days, when everything is just too much, he can’t even bring himself to go to the gym with kiri and he feels awful about it. When Kirishima failed the exams sometimes people would call Kirishima the 2nd tetsu and Kiri always took it in stride, laughed and said something along the lines of “I wish I was my bro, it would be awesome to be that manly!” and that crushes Tetsu. His bro is so kind and amazing, he can’t even begin to match him, yet Kiri still thinks Tetsu is one of the coolest guys ever. Meanwhile, he can’t even face his bro half the time due to a resentment Kiri could never deserve. And what does that say about him?
