Quick Intro

Hi there. My name is Knight. I'm a 30M full-time firefighter/EMT and I help run and cohost a YouTube channel called Basecamp Training that's all about training for tactical firearm and medical preparedness. The point of this blog is to encourage, educate, and promote leftist, liberals, Democrats, and LGBTQ+ individuals on how to hopefully become more aware, safe, and armed in this tumultuous and dangerous political climate in the USA.

My 72 year old, far left grandfather, who has never concealed carried or owned a gun since childhood, and hasn't trained with a gun since high school ROTC, asked me at D&D night Tuesday if I would help him pick out and buy a pistol, holster, and train on it. This is not a good sign of where we are😅

Came home from the fire station this morning to find my new Vakarian plate carrier and Apothecary med bag from Rebels Raiders waiting for me. When it comes to affordable, duty rated gear, I think Rebels Raiders is at the top of the list. I plan to do a Basecamp video where we go in depth on the features of this setup, but I think the main point to get across for me is that I bought this to act as my new work carrier when I'm duty at the fire station. No magazines, no firearm equipment at all. This will be set up as a 100% medical aid focused carrier for responding to 911 medical calls.

This is just a quick update video we put out earlier today. It covers a few points of what we're working on, upcoming projects and content, and a few little funny moments. We haven't had any real time to get together as a group to film more content, but we have a group range day coming up Nov. 28-29th, so we should have more coming out for you around the first week of December.
