I see that people are making posts about unpopular opinions. So here is mine. It shouldn’t be unpopular, it shouldn’t even be an issue that we have here. If you disagree, feel free to scroll past or unfollow because at this point I don’t care. 

Female muses matter. You should not go out of your way to ignore female muses and cling to male muses just because. The same can be said for original characters vs. canon characters. This fandom is terrible about it which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me because the majority of the fandom is made up of characters that are . . . well, basically original characters. I just wish people would give other people the time of day and not just go out of their way to ignore them or brush them aside. It’s frustrating as someone who has seen both sides of it. This blog always receives the most attention despite the inactivity on it and it’s just so discouraging as someone who writes other characters that are ultimately original characters that are female that just get ignored. I just . . . I don’t know. I’m bummed and upset that this happens and that I have friends who come and talk to me about feeling the same way.
