Aoyama knows how loneliness feels.
Which is why he came to Midoriya. Which is why he said this :
“I could tell your quirk isn’t compatible to your body. We’re the same.”
He physically came to Midoriya, making sure he wasn’t feeling alone. He never does that. Usually, he’s alone and exclude himself from everybody. He doesn’t eat in the cafeteria, he barely talks in a group, he hides a lot, he feels unequal.
But he came for Midoriya. He knew.
He cares. Cares so so deeply.
He woke up super fast in the middle of the night, and ran to his friends room after hearing some loud crashes. Nobody woke up except for him. Aoyama was worried. He’s seen without a smile for once. He asked Midoriya if he’s okay and if he’s still bottling things up inside.
He knows Deku tend to keep things to himself. He just wants Midoriya to be happy. He wants Midoriya to know he isn’t alone.
Aoyama couldn’t believe Iida when he said those words.
“Aoyama! I came here to help you!”
What kind of reaction did he have? Say thanks and run back with Iida? Smile and nod and follows him? No. He laughed at him. He dropped his smile and couldn’t believe his ears, then started laughing.
He called him weird. He then said “What would you do if everyone left you behind and passed already? ”
"Left you behind”… Huh. Let that sink in. Then it proceeds to show us child Aoyama crying, saying “ Why am I so different?? ”
Aoyama knows how loneliness feels. He knows how it feels to be a reject. He knows how it feels to be ignored. Which is why he is craving attention. Which is why he acts narcissistic and flamboyant. This whole act is a farce. It says so in his wiki.
Idk how many times I need to make those kind of blogs before everyone can see it. Idc how many times I need to remake those kinda blogs, but I’ll do it until one of them blow up. I want people to understand Aoyama better.
