To make this work, the MC had to pick her her over same age, delectable classmates.. otherwise we won’t have a story. The natural progression of a teacher-student love affair would get her jailed in most parts of the world. Does that trouble an otaku? Huh??

MC was 18 years old and actively curbing his classmates affection because of that age difference. Hence him ending up with the teacher is the most proper relationship in the show. Considering if he went with hedigawa he would be 18 dating a 15 year old :/

I’m not joking about the Onegai Teacher con swag being inescapable in the 00s. they really handed a bunch of teenagers of all genders giant pieces of teacher fetish pinup art along with their con badge. This show wasn’t even that popular! Even my friends with bad ecchi brain rot didn’t watch it! I actually knew more people who cosplayed it to recreate the horrible pinup con swag for the meme than people who watched let alone bought the show!

It was so inescapable and yet so forgettable that I didn’t even remember being carpeted with teacher fetish eating pocky until I saw that poll asking if you knew the anime and it unlocked memories like a sleeper agent activation phrase
