Off to work.
Yesterday I got yarn mail! My husband bought me a yarn from MsMonsterCreations on etsy, a glimmer base finger weight yarn that is so squishy and soft and lovely! It's named Halloween Town's Finest Trick or Treaters (Nightmare Before Christmas yarn!!!!) And I love it so much I already have a pattern for it when I finish my current projects!! It's so soft. Best. And I've made a lot of progress knitting my current project with my own dyed alpaca yarn, which I named The Boy Who Lived. It's knitting up really nicely, I like the texture. And I've been spending time with the horses and my cat and playing Fantasy Life with my sister and Hearthstone with my friend. For Cthun!! Special interest overload, happy flap maximum! :-)
okay, the shawl of frustration is done. no idea what it was about this pattern (blossomleaf), which is pretty and not overly complicated, but it fought every stitch of the way.
now to fold it up nicely until iâm ready to face wearing it.

My special interests have been super indulged lately. My yarnie instagram friend sent me a yarn care package (seriously, go check them out!! Shirefolkyarns, thepauperscloset on IG) and it had a Harry potter themed yarn!! Purple pygmy puff!! It's so gorgeous, two skeins of sock weight! I drool. And Harry potter stitch markers and a book mark and omg. Husbando and I also got Adult Things like matching sheets and bedspread plus pillows and such and work jeans for them. And a new family game night game and book for me! I just want Harry potter and to knit all the things. Happy flaps.
