For small, frequent doses of serotonin, consider falling in love with specific flora and/or fauna local to you.

adore the moon not only when it’s full and bright. and do the same with the people you love
I have late night conversations with the moon, she tells me about the sun and i tell her about you
At the age of 27, I am now hesitating a lot. I am afraid of the unknown and scared of what might happen next. Sometimes I even question myself, if I have made the right choices.
But then, eventually, I let go. “I tried”– I tell myself, as I sob quietly about things that I have no control of. Missed opportunities, relationship breakdowns, how others see me.. health.
Is it okay if I don’t have everything under control? Is it okay that who I am and where I am today, is far from others expectations? Or even my own expectations.

A handful of resolutions:
Deny perfectionism. We will break the chains that bind joy to quality. Make bad art, sing bad songs, clean just a little, move when we can, create nonsense stories, overwrought poems, and play video games on whatever difficulty settings we please.
Recognize delights. When we find a good thing, we will tell ourselves, "this is good." The soft fur of a cat, a well-cooked meal, the sleeping breath of a loved one, a garden filled with life, a couch waiting for a nap, a warm beverage, a patch of sunlight, the stuffed animal waiting by my bedside.
Consume indulgences. We will not hoard precious things merely because they are precious. Burn the good candles, eat chicken nuggets off the fine china, use that face mask, that bath bomb, wear the nice watch, the dress clothes, eat the expensive chocolate. Every day is the right day for our pleasure.

“Being tolerant does not mean that I share another one’s belief. But it does mean that I acknowledge another one’s right to believe, and obey, his own conscience.”

What if Beatrice is really a royalty?
What if Beatrice is really a royalty?
We knew that Beatrice came from a maybe influential Political family. But what if her lineage is from British officers who fought during the civil war? What if they are heroes or maybe not so heroes from that era?
What if Beatrice backstory could be a key to success or a weapon to use against the Warrior Nun?
“I’ve found that there is always some beauty left—in nature, sunshine, freedom, in yourself; these can all help you.”
