Sonic has DEEP running trauma from the six months he spent in captivity in Sonic Forces. While there, he formed several alters and became a system. To this day, NOBODY knows because all of the alters are used to masking as just being one person.
Sonic gets HORRIBLE panic attacks, and got really good at suppressing them so he can have them when he's alone. His panic attacks usually result in ripped out quills and mysterious bruises and scars appearing on his arms from where he scratched and hit himself. At one point, Tails witnessed one, and Sonic was EXTREMELY embarrassed that his little bro had to see that.
Tails has OCD, and somehow went undiagnosed for years even though he did everything in fives and checked the lock on his lab exactly seven times every night and morning. When he got diagnosed by the therapist Vanilla got him, he didn't tell Sonic. He already felt like he was dragging Sonic down, so he kept everything to himself. He's not dealing with it very well.
Sonic unironically says radical and tubular and awesomesauce (not projecting what why would I ever do that).
Sonic's pain tolerance is WAY too high. Even Silver (who's pain tolerance concerns everyone) is horrified by it.
Sonic's memory is so ass that Tails thought the hedgehog developed amnesia.
Sonic USED to only have mild aquaphobia. After Sonic Forces, he now has claustrophobia, nyctophobia, haphephobia, scopephobia, and EXTREME aquaphobia. Nobody knows exactly why, but I'm sure you can figure it out.
Sonic hates fish. The smell makes him gag. He's also allergic to latex and celery.
Sonic is a bit hard of hearing after being around so many explosions during his childhood. He has to lip-read, and everyone just assumes he wants to kiss them because he's staring at their mouth. Bro, stop talking so fast, he can't read it right.
Sonic has to eat a LOT to keep up with the energy he burns by running. Because of these, he's not a picky eater. He'll shovel down anything edible. The only thing he won't eat is anything too bland or grey-colored. And strawberry shortcake, much to Amy's dismay.
Chao are magically summoned when someone desperately needs a companion. Eighteen chao were summoned in Sonic's cell during Sonic Forces. Infinite killed all of them, forcing Sonic to watch and blaming the hedgehog the whole time. Sonic can't be near chao anymore.
Tails voice gets super deep when he's older. Kinda like Shadow's, just less raspy and with a faint accent that nobody can pinpoint until Tails meets another fox. Then, everyone finds out that it's just the usual accent of the island most fox Mobians live in (sounds like a Japanese accent with a little bit of Scottish).
