KoalaGrizzly is coming back soon!

[Hi, it's me, the artist!

I stopped drawing KoalaGrizzly for a while because as my partner kept on growing together, I felt more and more distant from the 🐨 and 🐻 characters I had created based on us, early in our relationship.

But I recently started drawing KoalaGrizzly again because I realized...the characters can grow too! I don't need to explain it in a story or transition to it slowly. Bear and Koala just showed up again one day, a few years older and wiser.

Me and my partner are happy and still going strong. Our relationship will be 10 years old this year. Wow, we're still here! And so Koalagrizzly will return. It will be like meeting them all over again. I hope you'll still like them!

I will work towards regular updates, maybe weekly, but for now I just draw when I can.

And thank YOU for sticking around!! I'm sorry I kept you waiting so long!

Hello, followers. Please take the time to read this, because it's important. By 9 February 2014, 11:59 pm, EST, Tumblr is officially going to own everything we post. They will have prime copyright privileges to everything we create and post on the site. 

Please sign the petition, and share it like crazy, because if this change is not revoked before then, my girlfriend and I, the creators behind The Adventures of Koala and Grizzly, will have no choice but to pull out of Tumblr altogether. We'll have to delete everything we've ever posted.  We'll definitely be looking for another website to host the comic, but we really hope that it doesn't have to come to that.

Hi, anon from Switzerland. *gives you a biiiig huuuuuug* I'm sorry to hear things ended between you and your bear. 

It's important to remember, especially in situations like this, that happiness isn't found. It isn't a destination we reach once we've met a certain set of goals, or a state of being we are in whenever we are with someone. Happiness is created from within. It is a choice we must make ourselves.

I've been through more than a few breakups myself, and the important thing to remember is to improve. While we search for the someone who will love us for what we are, we must grow to love ourselves as well. I discovered that if you cannot do that in your current state, you must improve yourself. Be someone you would admire. Be someone you would love. 

I know it's cliche, but it's the most forgone form of wisdom in the world. Love yourself, or become someone you can love. It makes everything better. :D >:D<

We actually haven't done that. See, in the Philippines, it's common practice to live with your parents until you get married, so we still both shop with our families. XD

We do! I have 3 cats (one of which has just given birth to three beautiful kittens), 3 dogs, and 2 gerbils. Koala has a bunny. :D

Yes we are!!! Sorry but we also balance this with our studies, one's an engineering student and the other's a math major, so yeah T_T also we also run other tumblrs! Don't worry though, Christmas break is coming up, we will post during the break :D
