“ok,” you leaned back on the chair, staring at the phone which was recording infront of both you and your boyfriend, you were surprised at how quickly he agreed to join in the with trend you had suggested, it was so quick it felt almost suspicious.
then Ran leaned into the phone as he spoke, a sly grin coming up as he spoke. “who’s the sexy one on the left.” and of course, it was him. he was on the left.
you looked around, as if finding the person on the left which wasn’t him, he gave a quick side eye at your action before you followed his previous actions and leaning in; “i think they mean me,” you roll your eyes. “they clearly don’t know their left and rights.”
he looked away for a moment, staring at you. however you pushed back your smile still staring at the phone, “why does the guy have so many split ends—“ you leaned back, faking a gasp as if it weren’t just you who said that, glancing right back at him to see his reaction.
he snapped his neck back to the phone, forgetting you both were only doing a tiktok trend. then he turned back to you his mouth agape, “what.” for once in your life this was the first time you have ever seen Ran so lost and confused.
you started to laugh as soon as he checked his hair, holding it with two fingers to see if it really were dead. “the fuck.” he continued, though you sunk in the chair, your face red from laughing.

you and your beloved boyfriend sat in the kitchen, it took him awhile to agree to the trend— though as soon as you mentioned you could rage bait each other with it his eyes lit up and he immediately said yes.
as soon as you set the camera up and leaned back on the chair, he spoke, “who’s the biggie on the right, guys you can’t say that!” you blink, trying to figure out what the hell he said. turning to look at him you speak, “mikey your on the right.”
his mouth drops, “what.” you nod and laugh, “oh my god. no fucking way.” he groans as you speak, crossing his arms and pouting his face, though his eyes don’t leave the screen which sat in front of you both still recording the whole thing, as soon as he saw you open your mouth to talk he sunk deeper into the chair.
“oh— someone said, someone said!” you repeat, holding your gaze with the camera. “aren’t asians suppose to be skinny?” your hand went straight up to your mouth as you gasp, staring at him. “guys don’t do him like that, he’s just big bodied!”
he leans back up, a smirk appearing on his face though he didn’t mention what you had just said, “they are coming for you!” he’d say, pointing at the camera as if it were actually live. “you would think with a forehead like that they could get an A in chemistry.” you gasp, smacking the back of his head earning a yelp from the boy.
“the fuck mikey!”

you had to describe the whole trend to rindou first, and then he agreed, he waited for you to set the camera up on the coffee table as he sat on the couch, once you plopped down beside him he stayed silent; staring at the phone.
he blinked as he watched you instead, watching as you inclined forward as you spoke, “you got ass type in men.” he gasps before you do, his face turning right back to the camera. “you can’t say that! i love him.” you say as you wrap your arms around him for a split second before shifting back to where you were beforehand.
rindou on the other hand smirked, pursing his lips as he thought thoroughly, he rested his hand on your thigh stroking it as he gave a look to the camera, squinting his eyes for a moment. “who’s the chatterbox? mhm. my partner.” he scoffed, ignoring the fact you are most likely glaring daggers at him. “you got any side hoes—“
you gasp, slapping his hand, though he carried on, enjoying it. “no,” he pulled you close. “they are my side piece.” he immediately started laughing as he felt you punch his side, you knew your punches were not strong enough to hurt him.
after you stopped, you glare right at the camera, thinking of what to say next before speaking, “i bet he has a small dick,” you look over at him, looking him up and down before returning back to the camera. “he doe—“
“what the fuck [name]!”

thank you for reading! reblogs and comments are appreciated.
⊹ people assume he’d want somebody loud enough to match his energy but his entire life is noise, meetings, violence, people demanding things from him, chaos everywhere. when he comes home and finds you curled up on the couch reading or scrolling through your phone in complete silence, it genuinely relaxes him.
sometimes he’ll just flop down beside you and put his head in your lap. neither of you say anything for half an hour. he doesn’t need conversation. he just likes being near you. spending quality time with you is the best part of his day.
⊹ everyone in bonten knows you’re his weak spot. everyone knows. the second your name comes up, sanzu changes completely. his expression softens. his voice loses that dangerous edge. he’ll answer your texts in the middle of important conversations and not even try to hide it.
the funniest part is that he thinks he’s subtle but he isn’t. one time somebody joked that you had him wrapped around your finger. the room went completely silent. everyone expected sanzu to get angry. instead he shrugged and said, “yeah, obviously.”
⊹ he gets ridiculously soft when you’re affectionate first. normally sanzu is the clingy one. he’ll throw an arm around your shoulders, pull you into his lap, grab your hand whenever he feels like it. but the rare moments when you initiate affection - he completely malfunctions.
if you quietly take his hand first, he’ll stare at you for a second because he genuinely wasn’t expecting it. if you lean against him while you’re sleepy, he immediately goes quiet. he’ll act normal on the outside but he’s replaying that moment for the next three business days.
⊹ if you’re talking to someone else for too long, he’ll eventually wander over. if you’re sitting across the room, he’ll somehow end up beside you within ten minutes. if everyone’s gathered together, his arm ends up resting against yours before he even realizes he’s moved.
one night you’re sitting with ran and rindou while they’re telling some ridiculous story. you’re actually laughing - a rare enough occurrence. twenty minutes later, sanzu walks into the room, takes one look at the situation, and immediately sits beside you.
ran raises an eyebrow. “we’re having a conversation.”
sanzu glances toward you. “not anymore.” he says as he takes you over to his office.
⊹ there are nights when bonten keeps him out until ridiculous hours. nights where everything goes wrong. nights where he’s exhausted, irritated, and running entirely on caffeine and stubbornness. during those nights he becomes quieter than usual. not angry. just tired. and no matter how late it gets, eventually he texts you.
“awake?”
“you home?”
or sometimes just your name.
the first time it happens, you ask if something’s wrong.
“nothing’s wrong.”
“then why are you texting me at 3 a.m.?”
there’s a long pause. another minute passes. finally his reply appears.
“wanted to hear from you.”
⊹ he develops this habit of pressing a kiss against your forehead whenever he walks past you. sometimes it’s your temple. sometimes your cheek. sometimes the top of your head while you’re focused on something else. half the time he isn’t even paying attention to what he’s doing. it’s become so normal that neither of you notices it anymore until one day kakucho does.
you’re standing in the kitchen talking quietly about something. sanzu walks by, leans down, presses a quick kiss against your hair, and keeps walking without breaking the conversation he’s having on the phone.
kakucho stares.
“…what?” sanzu stares back.
“nothing.”
⊹ after something genuinely dangerous happens, sanzu spends the next few days sticking unusually close to you. he’ll deny it if anyone points it out. claim it’s coincidence. act irritated whenever rindou starts making comments but everyone notices.
especially you. he keeps reaching for you. checking that you’re there. touching your shoulder when he walks past. pulling you beside him on the couch. resting a hand on your back whenever you’re standing nearby. eventually you ask him about it.
“you’ve been acting weird.”
he looks at you for a second.
“thought I lost you.”
the words leave his mouth before he can stop them because sanzu almost never admits things like that. after a moment, he sighs and pulls you closer against his side.
there's something to be said about the fact that sanzu, even in the original timeline, was willing to attack people with a katana if they so much as said anything bad about mikey.
like you can't explain away sanzu's...everything...with the dark impulses he was already like that
I see a lot of speculation about them so I thought of adding my own two cents. Enjoy!
They were born in a upper middle class family in Roppongi
They used to live a super privileged life until they were 10 and 9 years old respectively
But their parents were super neglectful
It was during this time that Ran attained his affinity for being a fancy diva
Rindou also learned his fighting skills by taking classes during this time (he had always been interested in fighting)
Ran was never interested in fighting (have you seen how fancy is? He would never willingly do something that would damage his beautiful face)
They lost this life after their dad found out that their mom had been cheating on him for years (she never felt fulfilled in her relationship with her husband because he never had time for her)
He kicked them and their mom out because he thought they weren't his kids (both of them looked like their mom. Ran was a total carbon copy of his mother)
Their mother also abandoned them to go live with her lover
That's how they ended up on the streets of Roppongi
This is when Ran learned to fight. Because he wanted to protect Rindou in the streets. He was agile and athletic and used it to his advantage.
But between the two Rindou is the more professional fighter
Ran would often starve himself so that Rindou could have more food
He also slept less to keep guard over Rindou
This is why he later on ended up having sleep related issues (the whole sleeping for 24 hours thing)
This is why they ended up in a gang too. So that no one else ganged up on them
It was Ran’s idea
Then the whole murder and juvie happened
After juvie they became rich, mostly through extortion and other gang activities
Their fame (due to the murder) and Ran’s charisma helped them get to the top quickly
And the rest is history
Some additional HCs
Ever since Rindou was born, Ran had been his primary companion (since their parents couldn't be bothered to do more than the barest minimum)
Ran first grew out his hair because baby Rindou missed their mom and the long hair made him look like her
Baby Rindou absolutely worshipped Ran and followed him everywhere
It was after juvie that Rindou started wanting to be his own person and not just follow Ran around (Ran was secretly hurt but learned to respect Rindou’s wish to become independent
But Rindou subconsciously mimics Ran constantly (*cough* the poses *cough*)
Neither Ran nor Rindou are genuinely interested in the whole gang business
Rindou likes fighting and Ran likes the power
So they stay
Ran learned and taught Rindou to never show fear or weakness. That's why they look remorseless after their first kill, even though they were terrified internally
Juvie was harder on Rindou than on Ran because he was afraid he would be separated from his brother (Rin is a velcro baby I'll die on this hill)
This is why he developed separation anxiety after prison.
Ran is only capable of loving Rindou unconditionally
There are people he likes or respects (like Kakucho), but unconditional love is only for his little brother
Ran makes Rindou hold the opponent and delivers the final blow himself, not because he wants to take credit, show off or look cool. But because he doesn't want rindou to ever become a killer. Rindou doesn't know it
It becomes pointless after they end up in Bonten, but he still wants Rindou to never kill unnecessarily
A/N
Welp I really want these two to have no personality or identity apart from each other. Blame Wakui for making them have matching tattoos and zero backstory.
Also hate how little they contributed to the plot. Why make cool characters if they won't be relevant to the plot?
But I still love these violet eyed codependent freaks so much that I had to give them a detailed backstory
Saw an interesting post pointing out how when mikey found his broken plane, he didn't immediately blame senju even though she was the closest to the toy. Instead he asked "did you see who did this?"
And this begs the question, would mikey have done what he did to Sanzu on Senju if she had told the truth?
I was writing a certain scene, just a small line about Sanzu’s driving habits changing when he’s nervous, and I realized I never made a post about this. It’s silly anyways
I think Sanzu is a reckless driver, no matter if it’s car or motorbike. He likes speed, and if he’s driving a car he rarely holds the steering wheel with both hands. He holds it with one, sometimes he even stops holding it for some seconds. Rindou is afraid of him, honestly. But at the same time, Sanzu is super skilled at it. He has very good reflexes and will know how to turn 180º in a small road at high speed without trouble. He’s just so effortlessly good at driving Rindou gets mad (and scared)
My long headcanon about how each of the og Tenjiku members (S-62 + Kakucho) ended up in the Bonten Timeline...
...because in my opinion it wasn't a good ending for them.
TW: Suicide, general descriptions of torture, Bonten should be a warning in itself.
Shion was the first of the remaining five to die.
He hanged himself a few weeks before the Bonten uprising in his small, cluttered apartment, which he had to go into debt to buy. This day was the anniversary of the Kanto Incident.
His body hung there for a week until Mochizuki and Rindou, who wanted to ask him to join Bonten, broke down the door because Shion was not answering his phone.
Rindou couldn't believe what he was seeing. That... stupid, idiotic... idiot who wanted to be called "senpai" just because he was older... Hanged himself? Just like that? Well, maybe they hadn't had a very good contact with each other lately due to work, responsibilities, etc., but... Rindou didn't know that things were that bad with him.
Mochizuki was truly devastated. Shion was, after all, one of his closest friends. They may have offended each other, they may have called each other names, but they were close. Really close.
No one in his family took any interest in burying him, and in the end, it was up to Mochii, Kakucho, Rindou, and Ran to hold his funeral. Only the four of them came. He was buried in the same cemetery as Izana.
Rindou never wanted to belong to an organization like Bonten. True, he was a member of S-62 and spent his entire teenage years fighting on the streets, but he had no plans to continue doing so for the rest of his life. However, his brother joined Bonten, and Rindou will even go into the fire right next to Ran.
His older brother told him many things: "If we join them, you'll earn enough to buy 100 nightclubs where you will be a DJ" or "We're not going to do this for the rest of our lives, are we?" but he didn't tell him that it would end tragically for him.
One day, Rindou was knocked unconscious and kidnapped in one of his clubs, despite numerous cameras and security guards. He woke up in a room that smelled disgustingly of rotting corpses - it belonged to the enemy mafia. The men from this mafia wanted to extract information from him regarding Bonten's strategic plans for the future - what was stupid was that Rindou had no clue what they were talking about. He might be one of the executives, but he wasn't very familiar with Bonten's strategic moves; Ran was the one handling that, but Rindou couldn't drag his brother into it. Therefore, hoping that Bonten would find him soon, he dragged out the interrogation as long as possible. The hostile mafia, however, had no intention of waiting and proceeded to physically force him to talk.
This torture lasted over 24 hours.
Rindou was constantly beaten, cut, waterboarded, strangled, they pulled out his teeth, but he didn't say a word. After those damn 24 hours, one of the men who were there started threatening him that they would cut him in half if he didn't tell them anything. Despite the condition he was in, Rindou still believed that his brother and Bonten would come here in time and save him, so he still didn't say anything.
He was ultimately cut alive in half above the hips with a chainsaw, separating his torso from his legs.
When it was sure that he was dead, both parts of him were thrown into one of the rivers - this mafia was known by disposing of remains in this way.
Rindou died childless and without a partner - he lived in the same residence with Ran.
For Ran, being in Bonten was part of his dream come true - he may not have been a foreign celebrity, but he had everything a celebrity could have: Money, fame, he commanded respect, women threw themselves into his arms... And all this with less work than if you were a real celebrity!
No one would be exaggerating if they said that he lost himself in this life. It no longer mattered to him whether he would sleep well at night, how much makeup he had to put on to cover the dark circles under his eyes, that every week he had a different woman around his arm... He got so lost in it that he didn't even notice when his brother disappeared.
It's a bit silly to admit it - after all, he practically raised Rindou and he used to be unable to sleep at night if the door to one of their rooms was closed. However, when he woke up late the next day with a hangover and thousands spent in one night, he somehow failed to notice that Rindou hadn't been home since at least the evening before. He started his day as usual: he watched nonsense on TV in bed instead of getting up, then after an hour he finally went to get dressed, get ready... He ate whatever was in the fridge - Rindou always made sure that besides ordering food from fancy restaurants every day, there was something normal to eat.
Ran had the day off, so instead of doing anything productive, he waited until evening came and went to one of the nightclubs he co-owned with his brother. He had women around him again, he spent thousands on alcohol with strippers again, he drank again... And so 24 hours had passed since he last saw his brother.
The next day wasn't much different, the only exception being that he graciously decided to check Bonten's emails even though it was his day off. Then he saw that he had received a message from Kakucho the day before - the notification had not arrived because Ran had muted all his chats.
"Where is Rindou?? I had an appointment with him."
Ran wanted to write something sarcastic: "How the fuck should I know?" or "He probably got high with hookers," but he simply decided that since he hadn't replied before, why should he write now?
"Rindou, why are you ignoring Kakucho?!" - Ran rocked back in his chair in the living room, shouting towards the stairs leading to his brother's room, expecting some ironic response.
Silence.
"Rindou don't ignore me too!" - Ran went back to reading his emails. He took a sip of coffee. That's strange, he didn't hear Rindou leave the house this morning.
Silence.
"Rindou?!" - Ran stood up, his voice sounding irritated - his brother probably didn't hear him because he had headphones on. He walked calmly towards Rindou's bedroom and opened the door without knocking.
Silence.
Whenever Ran entered the room uninvited, the younger Haitani would angrily shout at him to knock or throw a pillow at him. This time, however, nothing of the sort happened.
"Rindou!?" - Ran left the room and headed towards the gym which was in the basement. His steps were a little quicker, he was sure he hadn't heard Rindou go down the stairs. But before he placed his hand on the doorknob to the gym, he listened.
Silence.
There was no sound of the exercise bike, nor the movement of the exercise machines, nor the treadmill... Ran opened the door - no one was inside. For the first time since he had seen Rindou, Ran was concerned. He ran up the stairs and burst into the living room again.
"Rindou?!!" - he checked their large garden - empty. Amidst the house's ornately finished entrance and elegantly trimmed bushes, Rindou was nowhere to be seen. Ran ran to the garage - it was bigger than most people's apartments. There were a few of their expensive cars parked inside, but his brother's favorite purple Lamborghini was nowhere to be seen - he always drove it to clubs. Ran felt his breathing quicken with stress. He ran back into the house and grabbed his cell phone. He tried to call Rindou, but the call kept disconnecting as if the phone was either turned off or... broken.
Eventually he called Mikey.
The search for Rindou lasted a total of three days.
All the executives were involved - it wasn't just about finding younger Haitani as if something bad happened to him - it was about finding someone who knew information about Bonten that, in the wrong hands, would be a disaster for all of them. No one had ever seen Ran so... on edge before. Without that charismatic smile, without perfectly styled hair, with bags under the eyes... Even Mochizuki and Kakucho didn't recognize this tired man as their friend. They both tried to comfort him; Kakucho said that Rindou was strong and would definitely be fine, Kanji didn't really say anything specific: he was simply there for him. Something Yasuhiro used to do.
Eventually they found the lower part of Rindou washed up on the river bank. One of his pant legs was torn off, revealing a tattoo he had the same as his older brother.
Kakucho tried to convince himself and the other two out loud that these were definitely not Rindou's legs, that they were just someone very similar... They could hear the uncertainty in his voice and the fact that he was breaking down every now and then.
Mochizuki didn't say anything. He stared at the ground, his shoulders shaking slightly. He knew very well it was Rindou.
Ran was standing behind them, but he could see everything clearly. He saw Kakucho kneel at his feet, revealing more skin above the tattoo as if in disbelief and helplessness. Mochizuki moved from his spot and grabbed his arm, telling him to give it a rest. And Ran? He was waiting for the right moment when they would be too busy to see what he was doing.
And when the ever-serious Kakucho rushed towards the river, convincing Mochizuki that the rest of the body was definitely still alive and that he had to be fished out quickly, and Kanji grabbed him by the coat, shouting at him to calm down, Ran pulled out a gun. His service pistol which he received from Bonten. Without hesitation, he put the gun to his head and shot.
Quietly. No dramatic parting words, no moving farewell. He just shot himself.
In his last burst of consciousness, he only saw Kakucho and Mochizuki turning towards him. Kakucho had the same look he had when Izana was shot. Mochizuki had a look of shock and despair in his eyes that he had never seen before in his older friend. It wasn't the same sadness as in prison after Izana's death. Not the same as when they were able to see Mucho's body before he was buried.
Ran didn't feel guilty. Not for his death. After all, he was the one who made Rindou promise one night while they were in juvenile detention that if one of them died, the other would kill himself that same day. A stupid promise, but back then they were inseparable. Not like now. Ran only felt guilty for letting Rindou suffer.
Ran died childless and without a partner. After his death, all of Haitani's assets were transferred to Bonten. Ran and Rindou were buried in one grave when the upper part of the body was found.
Since Izana's death, Mochizuki has become more protective of the rest of S-62 and Kakucho. He hadn't felt such an obligation before, after all, he might have been the oldest, but there was only a few months' difference. Yet after they went to prison, he tried to take care of everyone. He wanted to get out early for good behavior to take care of Kakucho, but Muto said he would do it instead. However, when on the day they left, only Kakucho was standing in front of the penitentiary, he subconsciously felt that something was wrong.
And so another important person whom he promised to defend died. He remembered sharing a room with Yasuhiro in juvenile detention – they were as different as fire and water back then. He was explosive, easily irritated, and Yasuhiro was serious, quiet, didn't say anything to him for the first week. He also remembered how he began to feel respect for him: when all six of them shared how they ended up in the hands of the police and Mucho said that he had paralyzed a yakuza member.
And just like that he died.
Later, Shion: they may have neglected their relationship, but Mochii thought that Shion stopped calling every week because he found a partner or a better job. But when he entered the clustered, small flat that day - when he felt the intoxication of rotting flesh - he had never felt so much regret in his life. He remembered that he was the first to enter the bedroom, followed by Rindou. He remembered that the window was slightly open, so the room was swarming with flies that were clinging to the dead body. He remembered how Rindou... just bursted into tears. Yes, the same Rindou who broke the bones of his enemies, who was an accomplice to murder at the age of 12. He just cried as they sat outside the apartment waiting for the authorities to arrive to clean up the body.
Eventually the Haitani brothers died. Mochizuki couldn't imagine the suffering Rindou must have gone through when they found his upper body. His face no longer resembled anything, it was literally just red muscle tissue. All his teeth were pulled out and all his fingers were broken. Torso bruised, limbs cut... A careful inspection of the body by Bonten's doctors revealed that he did not die from torture but from being cut in half. Even though Bonten also used such methods sometimes, and even though he had seen them himself, Mochizuki felt sick when he heard about it and saw Rindou's body. The same Rindou who never left Ran's side in the reformatory. The same Rindou who went to the gym with him. The same Rindou who, despite playing pranks on him with his brother, was his friend. Like the entire S-62.
Ran also died the same day. He shot himself. Right behind him and Kakucho. Mochizuki remembered how quickly he turned around when he heard the trigger of the gun. He remembered falling to his knees right next to Ran's body. He remembered shaking him and calling him to wake up, as if that would do something. He remembered how Kakucho had burst into tears – just like he had after Izana's death – and how he had thrown himself back into the river, screaming in denial that he will drown himself because it was no longer worth it. Mochizuki, of course, rushed after him, grabbing him under the arms and struggling with him. After struggling for a good fifteen minutes, Kakucho finally gave up. He fell helplessly into Mochi's arms and continued to cry. He cried badly, uncontrollably. Like a small child. He immediately remembered the moment when Izana disappeared. Yasuhiro asked the entire vicious generation to go visit Kakucho in the orphanage. He was only 12 years old then and he cried just like he does now. Mochizuki swallowed his saliva shakily and hugged Kakucho tighter. Still standing hip-deep in that river like idiots. The only thing that mattered to him was keeping his last friend alive.
One of the easiest pregnancies (I'm biased leave me alone)
Ran's baby would be lazy, just like him
So expect minimum movement from the inside, to the point you have to go to the doctor because you're getting worried
The baby would be classy, so no such thing as nausea
Exhaustion is your new companion tho. Gone is the energetic woman you used to be. You would fall asleep while standing, sitting, eating, even talking. It's a miracle you haven't become besties with the floor yet
You and Ran could be found cuddling under the covers for hours, him holding you so close your bodies almost merge. He's delighted to have a worthy sleeping opponent/companion
You become a stage five clinger. Were you an independent woman before? Not anymore. You need Ran to breathe. And if he isn't around, you fall apart like a bowl of spaghetti on the floor
Ran is insufferable about it. He loves being the centre of your attention
One of the easiest births too. The baby just...slides right out. But before you can make it to the hospital. It needs to make a Haitani entrance after all
Did I say the baby is lazy like Ran? They don't even cry... just fall asleep as soon as they're out
Complete carbon copy of Ran
A menace, just like their dad
You have a easy recovery tho
Overall a very luxurious experience as far as pregnancies go
5/5 stars (would do again)
Rindou Haitani
Kicks, kicks, kicks
His baby kicks like its in a boxing match and the opponent is your ribs
Slight nausea but not too much
Since Rindou is a gym bro/health freak, once he finds out, prepare to say bye bye to your favourite junk food
Whatever you are craving, doesn't matter. You're only getting fruits, salads and other doctor approved items
Occasionally let's you have ice cream tho. Only if you cry (he hates seeing you cry)
I firmly believe that Rindou was a tiny baby. And his baby is tiny too. So you show very little (especially if you're on the taller side. Like 5 ft 4 or above)
He makes you do those pregnancy yoga sessions and other physical activities, even if you don't want to (it's for your own benefit, ok?)
It ultimately pays off tho, as you have a very easy delivery. Another baby who just slides right out
Judgemental baby. Looks like they are questioning all your life choices as soon as they are born. Not at all impressed with you guys
Easiest recovery. You are up and walking by the next hour (Say thanks Rindou)
4.7/5 stars (only because you were sweaty and miserable from the workout sessions)
Hajime Kokonoi
This one is difficult
Zero morning sickness but you faint. A lot
Your blood pressure keeps dropping dangerously low and you constantly feel weak and tired
Slightly risky pregnancy, the kind that puts you on a bedrest
Koko is by your side tho
He has the best doctors, nurses, and nutritionists at your beck and call
Whatever you want, you shall have
He holds you tight whenever you cry because you're stressed or in pain
Constantly reassures you that everything will be fine
It was not fine
You have a premature delivery one month before the due date
C-section is needed
Koko is a wreck because he's afraid he's gonna lose everything once again (why am I doing this to Koko he's my fav too)
But worry not. You and baby end up perfectly fine
Another tiny baby. But gorgeous like their dad. Already has Koko’s calculative aura
Recovery is a bitch for you tho
Koko decides right then that no more babies for you (he can't see you in pain like that ever again)
2.5/5 stars (but Koko made it tolerable so 5 stars to him)
Seishu Inui
Slight nausea and dizziness. But nothing too major
Insanely heightened sense of smell tho
Really bizzare cravings. You start wanting to chug gasoline
The baby is relatively calm. Only slight flutters. Nothing too violent
Inui is super devoted. Wants to make the experience as comfortable for you as possible
The inui genes are so strong that you start missing Koko and demanding his presence
This is especially hilarious in the Bonten timeline because you know nothing about Koko except what Inui has told you
Koko shows up when he finds out (*cough* stalking *cough*). It's awkward but anything for the loml right?
If it's the bad Toman or final timeline, you definitely know Koko so the request isn't as weird. Koko is super smug and ready to do whatever you want
Yeah Inui's baby definitely has him wrapped around their little finger from inside the womb
They know where the money is
Future trustfund baby
The delivery is relatively normal
The baby is an angel. But stoic like Inui
The recovery is a bit of a pain in the ass but nothing out of the ordinary
Inui is a saint. Holding you'd hand, helping you walk, helping you shower, dressing you, feeding you. Everything. He won't let you lift a finger. You've done more than enough. Now let him do his part
4.9/5 stars (only because your body being ripped open is not cool)
Kakucho Hitto
Moderately easy pregnancy
Extremely nice baby, just like their dad
You don't feel much discomfort like nausea, dizziness, cravings or exhaustion
But you feel powerful kicks (only once in a while because the baby is considerate to their mother)
Very mindful and demure baby
You get slightly emotionally unstable tho, crying whenever your husband does something nice for you
But Kakucho won't stop being there for you
Another saint who would feed and clothe you if you can't do it yourself
He feels guilty for causing you pain and wants to take it away
Is afraid to hold you cause you're fragile (in his eyes)
You definitely needed an epidural
Mindful and demure baby (2)
Didn't immediately want to latch onto you
Grabbed Kakucho instead, giving you time to recover and adjust
Super respectful of your boundaries (all babies should take notes)
Kakucho didn't want to let go once he held his child
Overall pleasant experience
4.6/5 stars (would do again, but not before 2 years)
Kanji Mochizuki
RIP to your pelvis
Mochi is a big guy and so is his baby
If you're below 5 ft 5, you're dead
Strong baby, violent kicks
Nausea, dizziness you feel both
But no weird cravings
You become aggressive tho. Doesn't matter if you were a goddess of sweetness before. Now you're full of murderous rage
The kind of pregnancy where you can't wait for it to be over
Don't get me wrong, you love Mochi, but by the fifth month you just want the baby out
I like to believe that Mochi is very sweet and shy when it comes to relationships (he's probably one of the nicest guys in Bonten. Gentle giant core)
He wants to help but doesn't quite know how
So he ends up all stiff and awkward
But wants you to be as comfortable as possible
Wouldn't even get mad when you throw your sandals at him in frustration
Will wake up in the middle of the night to buy you whatever your midnight craving is
Will hover over you but doesn't wanna crush you. So he avoids touching you
This makes you madder because you want him to hold you
Labour is definitely over 10 hours long with his baby (and I'm being generous)
Did I say RIP? Yeah RIP
Loud baby. Big baby. But super cute
Mochi cries when he holds them for the first time
Recovery is a long process. But Mochi's got you. He's not gonna let you suffer alone. He's gonna hold you together through it all. Awkwardness be damned
Overall experience? Bad
Would you do it again? Maybe
3/5 stars (but worth the pain)

sanzu probably has an unexpected scent kink, but only when it comes to you.
he's a clean freak, and he hates sweat and stink. so, he's very peculiar about smells.
it's a big revelation for him when he realizes that he enjoys your scent so much. he's not one for snacking, but you smell like something sweet that he wants to eat up. your hair, your skin, the perfumes and lotions that you wear... it's almost embarrassing how often he finds himself following your scent trail.
one day, when your scent seems particularly strong, he decides to just ask what perfume it is that you're using. doesn't mention that it's because he wants to buy it for himself so he can smell you even when you aren't around... when you tell him that you didn't actually put any fragrances on today, sanzu comes to the conclusion that he just needs you around then, since it's your natural body odor that is addicting.
that's the question you brazenly sent thinking kenma would never see it, lost in the blur of his twitch chat, unfortunately, he did.
yours wasn't the first comment of that nature by any means. hundreds of flirty, even downright salacious things had been said throughout the hours long stream event. things of the like that kenma usually avoided calling attention to. he knew he was sought after, desired—something that still settled uneasily in his chest. unfamiliar and unfathomable.
why him?
he's just a lanky, loser who happens to be quite good at entertaining an audience of thousands. something his high school self would shudder at the mere thought of being that seen. that many eyes watching his every move, taking screenshots and posting them to twitter to fawn over.
it didn't make sense.
but the sharp-eyed gamer caught onto that one, in the mix of thousands of other fans vying for his attention. narrowing his eyes to heavily lidded slits, staring into the camera as if he were peering directly into your soul through the lens.
his low, husky voice, rough from hours of talking, reads your comment aloud. shame lights your face on fire, squealing like a panicked schoolgirl whilst hiding behind your hands—peeking through the gaps with bated breath.
"for free? nah, it'll cost ya."
the chat spirals into a frenzy—donations flying in as a means to bribe the streamer— much like your own heart, beating sharply against your ribcage.
you're almost certain that kenma hasn't connected the dots. that the girl in his computer science class is a viewer. your username wasn't obvious, knowing better than to use your own name. rather it's based on a niche interest of yours, not easily identifiable.
one in a million chance of being discovered.
the screen of your laptop goes dim, proof that you haven't written a single word in the last ten minutes. with a sigh you save the document, praying that later you'll find the strength to finish it before midnight tonight.
(newsflash: it never got completed.)
a break is in order.
you sink further into your pillows, scrolling on twitch aimlessly in the search to watch something, leads you to stumble across kenma's channel—newly made that day—as he fumbled with his camera, the lights in his game room too harsh and washing him out. turning him into a highly reflective ghost. his voice comes out scratchy and loud through your earbuds causing you to yank them out to save your eardrums from permanent damage.
his rising panic wasn't a laughing matter.
to him.
to the fellow classmate whose day had been the embodiment of taking one beating after another, it was just the remedy you hadn't known you needed.
tears welling in your eyes as you clutch desperately at your stomach, laughter gone utterly silent as you gulp down breaths between fits.
kenma still hasn't figured out why his cam was glitching out.
like the kind, caring individual you are, you offer a solution.
it was a one off.
a chance that it may be the issue he was facing, you didn't think it would actually work.
but the genuine relief and joy on his face afterwards had you hooked. in the spur of the moment you hit subscribe, a fleeting gesture of your faith in him to go far. though you didn't truly believe you'd tune in again next time.
(how very wrong you were.)
and there weren't many people watching that first stream, a handful of people.
what you didn't count on was being memorable. for making a lasting impression.
just one person in the crowd, is what you thought.
you were banking on that fact.
clips from that stream went viral. fangirls and fanboys alike losing their minds over the potential.
imagine the chaos that would ensue if kenma went through with it? the world might implode from pure, unhinged horniness levels.
you scroll the threads, giggling to yourself, sharing a few of the links to a couple of friends—online friends, other fans of kodzuken met through a discord server.
on campus you'd never dare breathe a word of this.
your friends here wouldn't get it. to them he's just a guy, not even an athletic one at that.
in their opinion there's plenty of better options, in frat houses, clubs, or best yet, on the sports teams.
"ew, you watch that guy?"
the moment those words register you're shifting, whipping around, ready to defend kenma against the slander, "sounds like jealousy. mad that he's making a name for himself unlike—"
you turn fully to meet this strangers eyes when your mouth dries up, his eyebrow lifts, a curious tilt to his head waiting for you to continue berating him.
"unlike?" kenma urges, resting his chin on his wrist as you flounder.
you swear he wasn't there a moment ago.
"un—" you close your mouth, tongue tied.
the silence stretches, deafening in comparison to your pounding heartbeat. or maybe it's just the sound of blood rushing in your ears.
"must really like him," he muses, gaze fixed on your phone where the incriminating evidence resides. twitter feed filled with nothing but him.
the speed in which you flip your phone face down is impressive if nothing else.
"not really," you lie, or attempt to. "i just happened upon..."
the click of his tongue disrupts your poorly fabricated misleading.
kenma leans in closer to whisper in your ear, breath ghosting through the loose strands of hair. mirth and a dastardly amount of smugness shine in his eyes, lips curled into a knowing smirk,
"you are still interested in that planking video, right?"
emi's notes: not proofread, chopped this up in an hour in pure spite.
